Sofia kept me involved in all her lessons and sent progress videos and even included my other pup in her training. I have a 7 year old Jack Russell mix. From the beginning of training all the way to her last day and even after, Sofia exceeded my expectations and she fully off leash trained my baby girl and more. I used to be so afraid to let her run with Oreo and she gave me so much more than a trained dog. She gave me PEACE OF MIND. With 2 children and 2 dogs in an apartment, it can be quite over but since Violets return I have been able to take all of us outside to play as a family. I know it must be heart-breaking for them to see animals get returned (or worse!), so it makes me very happy to know they take so much care in advance. After I found out about them, and adopted my sweet new kitten, I learned there were several other people I know who also had experiences with them - either volunteering or adopting - and all were massively positive. They are truly in it for helping animals. and everyone involved gives their time and love. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was discriminated for my roommate situation and others by their age or ethnicity. When I tried to adopt my kittens from Dana, I also had to use my "white female friend" and she easily passed the phone call interview she had with Dana. My friend also mentioned that she was her PE student at Carver Middle School in Delray. I can't believe we let this racist teach our kids back in the day. It's a small world, Dana. 7/28/2022. Hi Dana, I bought a house and my three cats that are living with me are very happy. The roommates didn't find the cats annoying. 11/10/2022. My three cats are still going strong. Just got them the Litter Robot 4 because i am a financially responsible cat owner. My cats go to a better bathroom than Dana. 10/02/2023 It has been a while, Dana. I want to let you know a stray cat has chosen me to be its owner. A few days later i found out the cat is pregnant! I am expecting the babies soon. I will be raising the kittens to about 14-16 weeks of age before I help them find their forever home. My three references were perfect and one of them was even from a Doberman breeder from whom I previously had gotten a Dobie from some years back. I was told the only remaining thing from my application was for a home check. As it turned out, there was no one near where I lived that could do this check and there was no one who was willing to drive to check out my property. I waited and waited to hear something positive because I was led to believe the only thing holding us back from getting this dog was the physical home check. Since I had not heard anything on August 22nd, I sent an email to Jen Sorrentino (whomever that is) at the rescue, asking what the hold-up was. I never received a response. A few days later I was on their rescue site and I saw a posting from August 18th that showed the pup we were waiting for had already been rescued and was gone! This rescue site should be ashamed of themselves that they left us hanging and never said a word. The fact that they could not have someone check out our property when it was one of their requirements, is disgraceful! If this is how they conduct running this business, and it IS a business, they should turn running their rescue over to someone who knows how to run a rescue and knows what they are doing. YES -- I am very angry about the way we have been treated or better yet, for the way we weren't treated. If I could give them less than a one star, I would!

Not everyone should adopt a pet. People with small children under 5, have large dogs that could hurt or kill a tiny kitten, have a doggie doors a cat can go outside through where it is not safe (coyotes, hawks, fleas, people that take tame pets for horrible things, their applications have false information, their references don't even approve and on and on) they should think twice and understand why their home is not safe. These are the people that post negative reviews because they were not allowed to adopt (Jay M and Michelle R). We adopted a beautiful sweet kitten that we never met first by a picture only. She was everything promised and more. We love her. Thank you Kathleen and Kitkats Rescue for the amazing things you do and dealing with some ungreatful people that should only be praising the unselfish work you do for these animals.

I found Kelsey by accident talking to my nephew's neighbor. He also had a Sheepadoodle but his dog…read morewas well behaved and obedient. I had Baxter, a 10-month-old Sheepadoodle puppy. He had been with 2 other trainers and nothing worked. He was out of control. . . barking, jumping, could not walk on a leash. I asked him who trained his dog and he said Lead Change Dog Training. On Monday, I called her. That phone call changed all of our lives for the better. Baxter did 6-week board training, and we picked him up on Friday evenings and continued w/the training over the weekend and dropped him off Monday mornings. We saw changes in Baxter by the end of week 2. Baxter has finished training, and we could not be happier. Baxter listens, we can take him out in public, and we have friends/family come over to our house. Baxter went from a wild puppy to a loving and obedient member of the family. We are so grateful for everything Kelsey has done for Baxter but also for her guidance and tools that we use every day. Kelsey is 10 out of 10.

PUPPIES OR PLUSH TOYS?…read more Absolutely a well organized puppy store with four large floor playpens with the cutest small breed puppies. The store employee, Amanda, provided a plethora of information on each of the breeds. It was a wonderful sight to see that the playpens were minimally full at only two or three puppies in each and NOT indicative of a "puppy mill". The two tiny Cava Poos were just larger than my hand (see pic) and weighed under two pounds. They were so energetic and sweet but they come with a large price tag of $5000.00, which include a health assessment by a vet. Sadly, no discount for full cash payment vs plastic. The walls were full of carrying bags, necklaces, toys and clothing. Going to bring my daughter here to browse the puppies in an attempt to find a fun partner for her puppy, and try to negotiate the price.
