Havana's had a comfortable atmosphere, and we appreciated outside patio seating. Most of our meals were good - one of my boys ordered a ribeye and at the initial look, we all were not overly impressed, it was very fatty, he said it was the worst ribeye he's ever had. My husband recognized the beer glass he was drinking from literally had a crack down the glass. He mentioned it to the server who kindly brought it inside came out with a new beer, but then we recognized they charged him for another beer. Make reservations. Restaurant is properly decorated for the beach atmosphere. Menu needs some tweaking. Not every dish requires the same vegetables. Sides should compliment the protein features. We went for Easter Brunch, the food was terrible. First, all of our orders were cold and had to be reheated. My wife ordered a Belgium Waffle, which came with a very small amt of butter and no syrup. Was really hoping for a better experience for dinner tonight. Atmosphere is good, it's a good looking place right on the main drag. Unfortunately that's where my praises end. We started with crab dip which was actually pretty good so we had high hopes! This was short lived, however. The food is incredibly poor quality for the price. Sad looking steak with microwaved bacon on half head of iceberg lettuce makes for a disappointing wedge salad. This was the case with the shrimp as well. Scallops were off and the flavor was seriously lacking. My husband asked the waitress if the butter sauce they had paired with the scallops was sweet, to which she hesitantly said no. It was very sweet indeed. Bleh. Service was also quite poor. I guess our waitress decided we didn't need refills, nor did she need to check on us after our food was delivered. Once we finished, we sat around for 20+ minutes waiting for the check. We ended up having to go ask the hostess to go find her. This was also the case for the table next to us, except their wait was at least twice as long. Overall, the food is mediocre at best, the service is poor, and it is very, very overpriced for what you're getting. Would not recommend. read more

had dinner there last Saturday night was exceptional. The crab dip was extremely good. Shrimp Scampi was excellent and that chocolate cake is to die for. First time at Havana's today for lunch. We were welcomed right away by the hostess and were seated on the front porch. Server was very hospitable. Nice outdoor 'beachy' vibe with a more sophisticated menus. Mahi tacos were seasoned nice and fresh tortillas chips with queso sauce were warm and tasty. Hamburger was very large and cooked just right. The seasoned fries were amazing. The burger bun was soggy when served however the server brought out a new toasted brioche bun. Great service. We had a lovely night celebrating our anniversary on the porch at Havana's. The oysters Rockefeller were some of the best we've had - nice sized oysters that were not overwhelmed by other things..just enough sauce, spinach and seasonings. I had tuna and my husband had a flounder dish. Both nice portions and beautifully presented. Dessert was bananas foster which was a huge portion! Best of all was our waitress who helped us choose. She accommodated several special requests and was just lovely. Havana's was very enjoyable for our group of two couples. The menu offered a variety of options including seafood and steak. Our group got the Grouper, Ahi Tune, Filet, and Salmon. They have the number one chowder and there's a reason why cuz it is delicious. It won several awards. We went in December so there was no wait at all. This is a fancier place so expect the prices to reflect that. We had the holiday special steak bites (32.00) to which my wife said was delicious. I had the shrimp platter (30.00) which they definitely give you your moneys worth of shrimp. There were probably 20 -30 on the plate. They were not de veined which may not bother some people. We also had the crab dip (16.00) as an appetizer which was good and not small portioned. Overall I would say if you are In town for an anniversary or just enjoy fancy vibes this is a good place to go. If not there are better options. read more

It was our first time here and we got there a little after 4pm on a Sunday! It was still pretty warm out and the sun was beaming! On Wednesdays and Sundays they play music after 5! We started with a pineapple mojito it was ok! ( I will disclose I am very particular about my drinks) we had the calamari and the Buffalo cauliflower! Those were a hit with the family. For entrees we had a Caesar Salad, the 8 Oz sirloin with green beans and mashed potatoes, the bison burger with fries and the seafood platter. The bison burger was delicious, the salad was good, the meat could have had a little bit more flavor and the seafood platter was good too! All the sides were great! Ordered the Jalapeño Margarita and that was good! We ended the night with the key lime pie! Overall it was great food! We sat outside and like I mentioned it was hot! They have a different sections where you can sit outside and you are away from the sun. The outside area is very welcoming and like I mentioned they play music on Sundays. The service was great, our waiter checked on us often I believe his name was Luke and the manager also checked on the tables to see if everyone was doing ok. Some of the negatives is that they don't have a parking lot so you have to pay at the meter and also there is 3% fee if you pay with a card but it seems like that is becoming the norm everywhere. read more

It's a great spot with indoor and outdoor seating. It is in easy walking distance from the boardwalk. The food and drinks are high quality. The bloody Mary's and other cocktails are very good. Havana's does come with a higher price tag. My bill for lunch (two people) was $86, before tip. Now we did get a couple of cocktails each which probably accounted for half the bill. So if you are cheap then you need to go to the pancake joint a block down versus here, or better yet McDonalds. If you appreciate the quality then Havana's is a good choice. Loved our time at Havana's while at the beach! The restaurant has a gorgeous outdoor seating area which I love when at the beach. We started with their calamari which was so delicious! For my meal I got the BT's chicken, but subbed for grilled chicken and added broccoli. The sauce was so tasty and fresh tasting. The mashed potatoes were a good side with this dish too. We dined here in August during our family beach trip. There were 11 of us and we made a reservation a day prior but were able to get one at 5pm and were happy we did! I spoke to Michelle to make this reservation, assuming a manager and she was so incredibly accommodating and friendly! The atmosphere was casual but nice - relaxing! Our waitress was great! Incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We were seated right away and she brought over waters and fresh bread right away. They have a pretty great wine and drink list, and we opted for a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, or two. We ordered a few appetizers and they were delicious! We started with the Jamaican Chicken Skewers, Cajun Shrimp, Shrimp Cocktail, and the Buffalo Cauliflower. All of these dishes were so good! I do highly recommend the Chicken Skewers and Cajun Shrimp - I would say they were the best! We ordered quite a few entrees too. I ordered the BT's Chicken which was delicious, and my husband the special - fresh Mahi! Both of these entrees were great and I do recommend both! They included a slice of watermelon and a slice of coffee cake which were both lovely. My favorite part was the bloody mary- I had two! Our server, Michelle, was great. Very friendly and attentive. Husband loved his Crispy Catfish Platter- he's actually still talking about it. Brunch was about $60, but keep in mind we had 3 drinks We returned on a Thursday for lunch. My catfish tacos with chips and queso were very yummy. Fresh fish, great flavor. Husband loved his club wrap. Our serve Charles was not as great. He seemed to not want to be waiting on us and wasn't very attentive or friendly. Funny how a server can make all the difference in an experience. If we had Charles on our first visit, we may not have returned. Havana's is a really cute place and I love the décor and ambiance. Even the bathrooms are adorable, which is a strange thing to say! Stopped here for a late lunch while visiting this beach for the first time. What a great spot! Everyone is so nice that works here. Every dish is a unique, carefully crafted recipe, even the homemade dog biscuits which my beagle friend absolutely LOVED. Seated outside at an umbrella-ed table, I enjoyed a really good burger with mashed potatoes. And took a huge piece of chocolate cake with caramel drizzle on top home with me which I definitely enjoyed later. Goin back to Havana's and bringin friends next time. read more

December 23rd was our Christmas Celebration at HAVANA's and it was the best Christmas ever!! I spoke to Adele, who is the reservation coordinator, she was wonderful!
