We did go a on a holiday night which was pretty busy. Unfortunately the services was slow and not the most helpful. The food was good. Bright side, being able to see the fireworks from our table on the patio was nice

This is a nice restaurant with a chef and a bar area, outside seating. The staff is super professional and accommodating. The menu is exquisite. We will be back again. We had to use an app/ barcode to park on the City streets. We split the Seafood plate, side salad and Cauliflower appetizer. They give you some hush puppies to enjoy. Relaxing vibe in an old house converted to dining rooms.

Our reservation was at 8:15pm. We were seated at 9:00pm and finally got our entrees at 9:55pm. We finished our meals by 10:20 and didn't receive the check until 11:00pm. The fresh catch was great but the "chefs vegetables" were peas and carrots that tasted the same as a Walmart frozen vegetable pack.

I think Havanas has potential. Atmosphere is inviting and fun. Food left a lot to be desired. $25 for a handful of pre cheesed chips and two mahi tacos didn't seem worth it when the tortilla was straight out of the bag and wasn't even warm. We all purchased the same thing but some tacos had shredded cheese and others didn't. Margherita was small, sweet (jalapeño), and very expensive for its size. We mentioned we were celebrating a 40th birthday and nothing was done. Won't be a place we would try again when at the beach. I read the previous reviews and gave it a shot because I had already made a reservation. But if you want good food for the price, this isn't it Unfortunately.

Super Seafood Combo (I substituted the oysters for more shrimp and the grilled it for me instead of frying). It was fresh and delicious!

Came to Carolina Beach with our best friends and decided to have dinner at Havana's! With a party of 8 on a Saturday night we were surprised that we got seated quickly. Our waitress was awesome and very attentive! Friendly and kept the drinks coming! We had the shrimp appetizer either the chicken nachos. I personally thought the shrimp was phenomenal, the nachos average. Our main dishes came out timely and were hot and delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meals and the lightning was great on the patio seating. Not loud and perfectly laid out. We really enjoyed our dinner and time there. We'll definitely be back!

Food was delicious!! Server was attentive. We got the pork chops and ny strip. The strip melted in my mouth and the pork chop glaze was AMAZING! Calamari sauce was a tad spicy but the hot crab dip was perfectly cheesy and flavorful. Really wanted to save room for the banana foster but everything was so filling! Will be back for the banana foster next year!

So disappointed! We have gone to Carolina Beach and dinner at Havana's three years in a row for our December Anniversary. This year we sent back our shrimp cocktail appetizer ( the color lacked pink and the texture was slimy- it's pretty hard to mess up boiling shrimp.... But they did. I ordered a filet with oscar topping, medium rare. It came out with no pink ( way overcooked) and the oscar looked like snot. I could not tell you the last time I sent anything back, anywhere so two items in one meal was unheard of for us. So for our anniversary I got nothing....and then my man fully lost his appetite. Our server was great and the manager was apologetic and gave us a free dessert, which tasted fine but seriously lacked presentation- unless you like banana sugar soup.... Never again.

Beautiful restaurant right on the main road. We were able to sit outside on their patio. Beautiful weather made this a perfect setting The waiter was very nice and the hostess was incredibly helpful. Even having to return a dish the hostess and chef were accommodating and respectful. The seafood lasagna was delicious. Balanced and light didn't feel overly stuffed with cheese and had plenty of seafood. The grouper was cooked perfectly light and flaky great flavor. The nachos were good could've been assembled better with melted cheese instead of the unmelted cheese tossed on the chips. Drinks were delicious no photos since they were finished before we could remember to take them.

Love this place ! Our go-to for more creative dishes and not the usual fried seafood found all over Carolina Beach. Ambience is top notch. On our last visit, a busy March weekend, Havana's was packed but the service was not affected. Our waitress was super accommodating, even bringing a complimentary dessert when I was asked if we were visiting for a special occasion, which was my wife's birthday. I will say our meal was underwhelming for the first time, as the usual standout shrimp and grits was not as flavorful as I remember and the consistency of the sauce was too thin. Better than most here in CB but not up their standards. Wife's pecan encrusted grouper lacked the encrusted part and was likely cooked too quickly at a high temp also causing the fish to not been as flaky as we expected. Every once in a while, even the best restaurants have an off night, so I'll be back.

Drinks were terrific. Ordered the wings and onion rings (wings and rings - not in menu but should be - just made it up as typing). Onion rings were good. Just basic frozen ones. But these wings - yes!!! You can tell why they won awards. Absolutely delicious. We ordered 12 and were able to get two sauce flavors. Highly recommend the flight of mimosa bombs (they were delightfully strong and equal to about 1 drink in volume!), and the all-you can eat brunch--but only if you want Diane to give you a magical experience with deliciousness coming out your ears. Bacon is crisp, FRIED CHICKEN PUTS CHICK FIL-A to damn shame, eggs were made with lots of yummy butter, the grill lends a nice char and toast to the sourdoughs and avocado toasts, the fruit in the parfaits were very freshly cut and prepared--the entire experience was handmade as we ordered, and any wait was WELL worth it once we got to chowing down! Not sure about parking as we walked here. It wasn't very busy when we got there, but slowly had people coming in and out. Lots of locals. We started in the High Tides lounge which is upstairs and has indoor and outdoor seating. Super cute decor. Had an Island Escape margarita which was absolutely delicious - no marg mix here! Just fresh squeezed juice and it was great. Also had a Mai Tai that was tasty too. Ordered a BLBT (which is super extra bacon - but also a ton of lettuce and tomato) and a fish sandwich of some sort (something local Carolina). The BLBT didn't come with a side, but you don't need one! It's massive. Served on toasty bread. Delicious, highly recommend. The fish sandwich came with pasta salad. Again, a healthy portion. The menu isn't extensive but you will find some great options on there!!! Bartender was lovely! Shout out to Amy. She was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. After eating, went outside to the tiki bar that was on the actual pier. Ordered more drinks - another marg, an orange crush (it's sweet), and an electric lemonade that was meh. Get the marg!! They even do frozen drinks which are great while sitting on the pier above the beach. Great scenery. Again, service was great. Britta and Haley were our bartenders. You can order the same menu at the tiki bar as you can at the lounge. Super nice to have options to move around. The pier even has picnic tables for larger parties.
