After we got in line to check out, my son got upset because, well...he's 2, and the manager or whoever he was, came up to us like something was wrong. As I'm struggling to hold my 40lb 2yr old to comfort him, the guy asked if he was mad about something or was hurt. I already had judgy eyes on me and whispering from other customers and this guy furthered my embarrassment by doing this. I'm sure he was trying to be helpful but it didn't make me feel better when he drew more attention to an already embarrassing situation. Honestly, I don't think we'll go back just after this experience.

Make sure to have them on your phone or use the mobile app son you can get a discount on top of the already discounted specials. The staff is friendly and very polite. On one occasion, I was looking for white Christmas bulbs and didn't see any stocked on the shelves. I did see them stocked on the very top shelf. An employee Roberto was looking at my perplexed face and said, " I can get those down for you. How many do you want?" Kudos to Roberto for recognizing an issue and acting on it before me or anyone else pestering him to go get the ladder. Young man, Roberto, that intuitive customer service will take you places. As for the moss, paint by numbers Gnomes, picture frames and thr assorted comic book decor for any Marvel or DC man cave, Hobby Lobby has it If you're lucky enough to have the cash on hand to take advantage of the discounts, do it and have no regrets because it won't be there long. So I like to come in on the sale days and then the prices are more equitable to the other shops. That's annoying to have to do but whatever. They do have some unique stuff. Another thing that is annoying is their policy regarding exchanges. I purchased an item on a sale day but bought the wrong color. I went back a few days later to exchange it for the right color but was told that since the sale was over, I would have to pay full price for the right one. What!? I understand the sale was over but I wasn't trying to get additional items at the sale price, I just wanted an even exchange. There's absolutely no loss on their side whatsoever. It just seems to me that a smaller chain would be more reasonable and want to keep their customers.

The Quilt Crossing is a dream store for quilters! The…read moreselection of patterns, kits, and high quality fabric is the best I have seen. All the latest colors/patterns/designers are represented for your projects. There is also an active classroom that was full on our visit, as well as a back room with several long arm machines that you can rent to finish your projects, or you can leave it for finishing. The day of our visit a kit caught the eye of my MIL, but we could not find the panel or pattern by itself. When we inquired at the desk, the salesperson was so polite and friendly, she opened the kit for us and sold what we wanted separately (pictured!) as it was the last one in the store. We received excellent customer service even though they were swamped with customers. The only negative comment I have is their prices-very competitive on supplies, kits & patterns, but the highest in the area for fabric (average $13.50/yard). Beautiful selections are available for that special fabric you have been searching for, but not for all your fabric needs if you quilt a lot.

She guided me to all the super soft materials and asked her colleagues what they recommended as well. I ended up buying a beautiful print for pillow cases. I do not sew well but my mom and aunt do and I sent the fabric off to them to make my pillow cases for some long rectangular down pillows that I've had for a few years from Germany that I can't let go of! And because of their odd shape/size, only custom cases will do! They have such an amazing selection of fabrics and fun tools! This is a great place to shop for quality fabrics, gain advice from pros and even shop for the sewing queen in your life!

The site is huge with what I believe is the largest collection of fabric, threads, notions, and even more impressive, a huge array of sewing machines. What really makes it "super" is the Staff. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and especially knowledgeable; Laura is a sewing treasure! They are hands-on with free classes with your machine purchase, and follow-up with questions and help afterwards. They also have a fun, comprehensive class calendar as well. This is my favorite shop in the Valley, in fact, I can't think of any where else that is so impressive. I'm so glad I found them and I love my new machine!

It was so nice to walk into a shop that felt like a fabric store, not a collection of junk. I had called that shop at some previous point to get help with a vacuum. They didn't service my brand but the man was so nice...gave me pointers and I was able to get it working again. WHO DOES THAT? When I went in, thing were organized, clean, clearly marked and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and mannerly. That means a whole lot to me. I found beautiful options and some things on sale. I made all my kids clothes when they were little. Just starting to sew again after 25 years. What a blessing to find this place. Staff there should teach lessons on customer service. I'm going back!

They arrived for our appointment and while Mark efficiently measured the area, it amazed me that Carol could conceptualize a perfect look for the area so quickly, with colors that blended beautifully with our home. We felt their estimate was fair and reflected the amount of work involved. Carol is lovely, a joy to work with and was quite patient with me, a novice gardener. Mark, with his team, worked tirelessly and did a wonderful job creating Carol's vision. We felt we were in good hands and trusted them, my husband and I could not have asked for a better experience.
