We all waited and waited and were all set up but nope. I don't think anything like this has happened anywhere I have been to before. It seems like another client had to call the instructor to find out what was going on because the other instructor that was there had no clue how to contact anyone. They could not reach that instructor so the other instructor told us it was best to go. Another client kinda jokingly said the instructor who was already there should teach us. But nope seems like she had another commitment which was understandable. I thought maybe the owner would follow up with an apology but NOPE! I live in Oceanside so it is a commute to get down there. I will NOT being going back there or able to recommend it.

They're located at the Del Mar Plaza, 2nd floor , by Il Fornaio. I do free 2h street parking vs the garage parking (as I'm not sure it's validated). I've only tried the Yoga Flow 2 classes with Emily and the owner Nicole. Both women have their own styles BUT offered personal yet challenging poses and flows. The heat the first time was pretty palpable but the 2nd visit wasn't so bad (at first). The class moves quickly so you build a sweat FAST. I haven't seen many beginners in class but each instructor has taken the time to go to almost every person to correct form which was so helpful. The music selection has been great as well. It isn't the elevator or spa music you tend to hear but rather energized music that gets you working harder. It's such a great new studio and the heat factor really brings in another dimension to this yoga practice. I absolutely recommend The Yoga Barre!

It's been a minute since I've taken boxing lessons and I generally dance or do ballet barre, so I…read morewas in pretty good shape. Boy, was I wrong. This class is challenging. By the end of the course, I was drenched in a gallon of sweat. I had Andrew the owner as my instructor. We probably had altogether 1 or 2 minutes of water time. All the other minutes were burpees, jumping jacks, push-ups, and one-on-one instructions, and the remaining periods were all on the punching bag. Andrew is friendly and knowledgeable. He'll go around each person offering corrections to ensure you're doing it correctly and lessen the likelihood of injury. He also tailors the workout based on your conditioning, which is nice. The facility is nice and clean, Andrew even showed me a backroom that's like a workout room which is reserved for private lessons. I came in here once and will definitely return. Andrew promised that he'll get me into a summer bod and get rid of this dad bod; so someone will one day love me too!! This is a crazy good workout, you'll definitely feel it the next few days. But I feel the amount of strength and endurance and calorie burning in this class is insane. I'll definitely be back, 5 STARS!!!

I think its an excellent complement if you practice yoga because the hammock helps you get in to stretches that you might not otherwise be able to do on the floor poses. You defiantly can't hang upside down in yoga. The studio space is always clean and everyone there is friendly! The classes sizes are small which makes it feel like you're going to work out with your friends. Its like a boutique gym.
