The menu was in English and German. The food was fantastic. A couple call outs on the differences from America to Germany: 1. Speed- they do not come to you quickly after getting menus nor after being clearly done with your meal. You need to flag them down. They have a much longer "hang out" time at restaurants and they don't want to rush you out. 2. Charges/tips- water is not free, you will pay for it and it isn't a glass, it's a small bottle they bring to the table. Also, they aren't a tipping culture. Generally people just round up to the nearest 5. Example: bill is $9 and you give a $10. 3. Language- in large cities, menus are in English and German and people speak English. In smaller towns it's in German and English speakers aren't as frequent. Make sure you have a translation app.
