However, there are a couple of factors to take into consideration. While it's true that you can find cheaper clothing elsewhere, how good is the material? How much time passes before it breaks, tears, becomes threadbare, or color drained? You can feel the quality of the clothes here, you can see it in the stitching. The patterns, and designs are distinctly unique, also; They have a sales rack in the back :-) That's where I headed and found the most gorgeous pair of pants. My friend also happened to find a gorgeous coat, and since the item was 75% off, I probably got my item cheaper than what it would have cost at a regular store. Service was exceptional. While we had the items we wanted to try on in our arms, an assistant quickly came over and got rooms ready for us. We didn't feel rushed or hurried. It truly was the best boutique we visited during our visit to Saratoga Springs. I highly recommend it.

I left there for probably 5 minutes and when I came back, it was on the rack to be tried on. I talked to one of their employees, Alison, and she was super sweet and attempted to find the same size (they only had the one). I waited for a few minutes while someone tried on the dress and then gave up and went outside. Shortly after, Alison came out and called me back in. The lady didn't like it so she held it for me to try on. Long story short, I loved it and bought it. Alison might've been one of the nicest employees of any boutique I've been in.

Sadly, this store is an outlier. Try as I might to give them a chance, they just keep on disappointing. On this occasion, a decidedly unfriendly middle aged sales woman went out of her way to be unwelcoming and literally made an effort to avoid me. Since I can get Anthropologie brands at an actual Anthropologie and I prefer shopping where I feel welcomed, I left.

The owner is lovely, patient, and willing to take the time to style you if that's what you need help with. She'll also stay late to address all concerns and make sure you leave with what you're looking for or more. The "genre" of clothing is a combination of Madewell and Anthropologie. Apparently they are well known for being an awesome girlie clothes store. My shopping experience was highly favorable. I'd been doing some tiling all day and looked like crap and I'm male so I had a fish out of water thing going on when I went in.
