Great place for a show. Coming in was confusing. The entry is in the center and up the stairs. But we had to check in first and get our hands stamped, in the door just to the right. Friendly and helpful staff the whole time, at check-in, the door, bar, etc. Go up the stairs and there is a little landing with bathrooms and a sort of recovery room thing- didn't go in there, but looked like a place to escape the crowd and noise. Straight in the double doors is the show venue, a cool old theater. Great sound, nice lighting. Bar is up another set of stairs, with a small balcony with tables. Accessibility might be an issue; I saw no elevator though there could be one. Two sets of steep stairs were hard on an old guy with bad knees, especially coming down from the bar with drinks. Pizza and burgers, etc., at the bar, nice to have handy. Fast friendly service. Downstairs, the bar to the left of the entry looks quite nice, and they had the show on a TV. Crowd wasn't massive so you could wander up and down and enjoy all areas. Definitely would come back for another show.

My husband could not get the beer he wanted as they were out so he settled for another. He ordered my Riesling but they had to go fetch a warm bottle from the basement. The sound was pretty good, although since we were standing under the speakers, it was difficult for me to hear his between song chats with the audience. I would return. I love old places with character and this suits my enjoyment of small Indy shows.

I had a small Pepperoni Pizza which delicious and recommend their pizzas. I normally buy a large Diet Pepsi and bottled water. The center has hosted High School Bowling Tournaments, PBA 50 Tour events, and more at the center. I want to thank Gary Joyce, the proprietor of HP Lanes for what he has done over the years along with the renovations of the center during and after the pandemic. I look forward to another tournament at HP Lanes with my normal Sunday morning bowling at $2.50 a game.

George, Tony, Tyler and Owen are super nice, friendly, and conversational. Owen even remembers our shoe sizes and has them ready when we walk in the door! Owen and George specifically are our homies. The lanes, tables, seating areas, and bathrooms are all sterile and spotless. We never go anywhere else. This is our bowling home. Keep up the great work. One thing I would recommend would be updating the vending machines so that they accept card payments, so more people could access them, because less and less people nowadays carry cash. I sought this place out specifically because of an online review I found that made this out to be…read morethe absolute worst bar in town. Because part of me enjoys seeing a bar that's really that bad, but mostly because 9 times out of 10 the bar turns out to actually be perfectly fine and the reviewer is in fact one of those uptight snobbish types who wants everything clean, pristine, and high-dollar. That's the way it turned out to be with Tony's... there's nothing wrong with this place at all. The front part of Tony's very much resembles a 1950s style diner, down to the booths, the bar stools, and the photos on the walls. The back room has pool tables and is occasionally used for bands. The selection of beer on tap, while limited, is more varied than most dive bars. There's an oddly placed mirror in the men's room that, while using the urinal, I noticed gives you a view out into the seating area. Which means people in that spot in the seating area also have a view of you. Hopefully this is accidental and not by design. :). Be careful with parking, you WILL get towed if you park in the lot across the street. I had to parallel park in a residential area a couple of blocks to the east.
