It was also very clean and comfortable. The perfect size for my husband and me. Keurig coffee maker available at the front desk if you want one. The manager was lovely to talk to and she gave us insight into a few of our restaurants choices and the nearby Laundromat (of which we took full advantage). Bryce Canyon is so close and there are several restaurant options nearby. There's also a convenience store, a gas station and a cute coffee shop. Every night they do smores at the firepit. We wandered over on our second night and had great conversations with people from Wisconsin, Germany and Montreal. Even though we were exhausted from our Bryce hike, it was nice to connect with fellow travelers. We plan to return to Bryce someday and when we do we will only stay at Mountain Ridge Cabins.

Beds were welcoming but not that comfortable, mine had a "bump" in it. I'd definitely stay here again! What made us decide in Hatch during this particular road trip was a last minute road trip that included stops at Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, but coincided with 1000 of tourists flooding the area! Lesson learned is that just because schools are open, it does not mean tourists (mostly European) and couples with no children will not be traveling in the area! Anyhow, Hatch is about 25 miles from Bryce Canyon, about 50 from Zion and 40 miles from Cedar Breaks National Monument. lucky for us Bryce Zion Inn had vacancies and there we were! The rooms at Bryce Zion Inn are clean, large (depending on what you ask for) and comfortable. There are a couple of eateries across the road one of which grants you discount for staying at the Inn. The only thing you should know is that the closest supermarket is in Panguitch, which is a town about 15 miles away. So if you are short on supplies, plan to make the round trip. You won't find much in Hatch.

It is a really easy drive from the east entrance of Zion and right off the highway in Hatch, Utah. Close to Bryce Canyon as well. We checked in late and had no issues. We stayed in the Lone Ranger room which is perfect for two. There is a bathroom, shower, table and chairs, full sized mattress, fridge, microwave and coffee pot. No tv which I didn't mind because the view from the little porch outside is lovely and there is a dark sky at night. I live in an area with light pollution and it was wonderful to see the stars at night. I prefer firmer beds and this was fit the bill and I slept wonderfully. There is a 7:30 am continental breakfast so that was a nice touch too. There is a fire pit and grill available for use. I am really happy staying here! I would definitely recommend it if visiting the nearby National Parks!

The lobby has a super tall ceiling and a lodge-like feel, really fancy and modern. Plenty of parking. The breakfast included breakfast with a big buffet of scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with ham, pancakes, cereal, sausage, bacon, fruit, tater tots, breakfast muffins and donuts had much more choices than the Best Western we stayed at in at Springdale for Zion National Park. There is one elevator. Pay attention to the receptionist when they tell you the floor. Our room was 3461, and he said the 4th floor which seemed like a mistake until we got out on the 3rd floor and could not find our room. The second digit refers to the floor number. The first number refers to the building. Room was clean, comfortable, spacious and the bathroom vanity was long. There was an inexpensive Keurig machine. I successfully made my coffee, but my husband couldn't get the machine to turn on again even with wife help. Microwave in the room. Our mini-fridge was warm and fiddling with the temperature control didn't seem to start it up. I put those comments on my Best Western survey and the general manager responded and thanked me and said the problems would be addressed. The pool and hot tub are located in the center of the buildings, so it can be more shaded there in the afternoon. The park shuttle does not stop at this hotel but Ruby's Inn about 7 - 10 minutes walking. We drove the 0.5 miles for dinner there - Cowboy's Buffet and Steak Room. We got there about 5:40 pm and by 6:30 pm, it looked like a 30-45 minute line. When they run out of the ribs, you might be stuck eating the buffet or other menu choices. The ribs were good!

They provided all with a smile instead of an eye roll. Felt spoiled and grateful. Emily and Joe are loving parent to 3 sons and have a menagerie of indoor and outdoor farm pets! They let us take out a boat last min so that we could get just a couple hours in seeing as we drove all the way from Las Vegas and bought fishing licenses already and were only in town for the day.
