Filed a claim in good faith with Allstate, only to be denied the day before an appraisal was scheduled. Allstate made the decision before an expert could give his/her evaluation of our catastrophe. I appealed to this office and I appealed to the national claims office. Absolutely no consideration from either. After the fact, through research, I discovered that Allstate denies more claims than any other major insurance company. Learned the hard way. Do your research before selecting an insurance company.

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from this Office "Maria…read moreVentimiglia-Allstate Insurance" I had called a couple of weeks before to request that they remove the automatic payments of my policies from my bank account and all they did was remove the automatic payment from one policy and left the other running normally, resulting in that bank account having overdraft charges. When I asked to speak directly to the general manager of this office to present my complaint, I spoke to her, told her my complaint and also told her that her office never returned phone calls, she told me that she would check what was happening and that she would call me back. But everything got worse when she called me back because instead of her showing empathy and giving me a solution, everything got out of control, She put me on a three-way phone call with the agent who made the mistake, they started interrupting me, talking at the same time, talking over me, bad attitude, they were arguing about the payment method, (I tried to explain to her that the issue was not the payment method, the issue was that I had requested with a couple weeks in advance that they remove automatic payments from ALL MY POLICIES, Not just from One, because that bank account would no longer be available) I had to call directly to the Allstate national phone number to do what they couldn't do from the beginning. This office definitely needs to work more on the basics of customer service: Listen, Don't argue with the customer, Show empathy, Apologize and Find a solution.... Worst experience I've ever had.

My sister who has worked for Statefarm for over 25 years recommended Bob Witt to me. To-date I couldn't be happier. I was covered by USAA for my Three cars and two motorcycles. After dealing with Bob on my home insurance I transferred all my vehicles over as well. I've since received a couple of calls from his office to ensure I was happy and my coverage was what I wanted and more importantly what I needed. During the last few monsoon storms I called the office with some questions. Never really dealing with home owners insurance very much and the lady there was very informative and helpful. I know for a fact I can contact my insurance agent when I need him and get results. That to me is peace of mind you just can't put a price on. Add that to great competitive pricing. And I'm one very satisfied customer.

If you never have an accident or a claim, you're all good with this office. They will politely call…read moreyou to remind you premiums are due, but if you have a real need, don't piss off the account managers. I've never spoken to or met Steve but I am sure he is friendly. Never had any issues with this office since I joined them in 2003... until I had a hit and run accident. I was getting differing answers from the "State Farm 800 Claims line" so I contacted my agents office to help clarify some things for me. They were very nice... at first. After some back and forth, I was not feeling supported and indicated I'd like to switch agents to someone local to me. (The previous day I had an accident with my young kids in the back you could imagine I was a bit frazzled.) Well wouldn't you know I received a scathing email from the account manager about how she went above and beyond (really? You gave me 3 body shops names and numbers) and that they would no longer respond to my emails and texts. See email below: "I sent you a list of names and went above and beyond for you NOW and in the PAST. I'm sorry you are having bad day but DO NOT say I have no compassion or sensitivity I do, and shame on you for using the example with children in hit and runs. I will not be responding to anymore of your text/emails. Have a great day!" Immediately when I received this, I sent her an apology that I offended her so deeply. Well, not surprisingly there was no response. I work with clients in financial services and understand that you don't always see eye to eye with clients. So I get "being frustrated". I have always paid my premiums and have never bothered this agents office. I needed them to help me unscramble some bad information and when I was responded to with some CAPITAL LETTERS in an email (meaning you are shouting at me) and then telling me you will no longer respond to a client request - something is wrong. It's unfortunate.
