Food is less than decent. Customer service is absolutely awful. I ordered my food over the phone. When I got there I left them know who the order was for. One of the guys looked at the girl and said he wrote it down. The girl said she lost the order. Now that Hashi has opened on the north side of town, I'm a new found fan. We've ate there for years, but it was a hassle driving across town. I prefer teriyaki over hibachi, but both are good. Steak and chicken combo is my usual, but the shrimp and salmon are definitely the best. I prefer the noodles and vegetables. Skip the rice. I tried edamame here for the first time. Liked it! Several different sauces and sides are available. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Monday's are double chicken for $7. You can't beat that. See you there! read more

I never write reviews, but the food i ordered was inedible. the only thing i could eat was the fried rice without gagging. their meat was horrible and the cheese rangoons tasted like fish. my stomach hurts after eating this, but it was only $20 for 2 hibachi meals and rangoons. read more

Holy salt shakers, Batman! Ordered chicken hibachi and steak hibachi, with sides of noodles (x2), brown rice and vegetables. The proteins were pretty good, though I was expecting maybe something a little different. The brown rice was, well, brown rice. Hard to screw that one up. The veggies were good, if not a smidge on the salty side.. but the noodles? I'm fairly certain that The Weather Channel could forecast how cloudy my pee is going to be after those. They were not slightly over salted; these were likely the saltiest noodles I've ever had. I'm literally going to add a liter of water today to balance out that sodium load. Overall, we'd have enjoyed the dishes a lot more if they'd pare back the salt and not mask the other flavors. read more

The restaurant floors and tables are some of the cleanest I've seen in Abilene. The food was fast, hot and delicious with generous portions-enough for later tonight. The staff was friendly. The only thing that would have made it better was paper towels in the bathroom and lids for the cups. read more

Second time coming here just for the poké. The spicy tuna was pretty spot on. Salmon is definitely my favorite though. I'm glad somewhere in town serves it now. Extremely friendly service. Will keep coming back! I hope poké fridays stays. read more

The first time I went loved it! The second time my food was bland. Not feeling the inconsistency.

Went yesterday just before 5. We ordered chicken and steak hibachi. It was wonderful! The young man who took our order was very polite and helpful, since it was our first visit. It's a nice, clean establishment. But mostly the food was great. We also got spring rolls as well and egg rolls. The portions were more than enough. We will be back soon! read more

Food was fair at best. But the place was about 90 degrees inside. I thought when I went there the first time it was just a temporary issue. It obviously wasn't. The tables and floor were so sticky you could here people walk around. We felt around for a non-sticky table but they were all the same. I'm guessing it's because of the poor ventilation. This is great for what it is, fast food hibashi. The order counter feels more like a burger joint in the sense that it reads "we reheat your food quickly". You get an order number and your order gets called out when it is ready. There is plenty of room to dine in, but it is not the best sit down dinner experience. If you wish to dine in, the vibe is better for lunch. Unless you are a teenager, I wouldn't recommend this place for date night. BUT the food is delicious, so I suppose that is all that matters. read more

Been going to hashi for years. Over the times I've been going the service is always with a smile. They are the leading example of customer service. The food is why we are all here though and they always offered fresh meat with your food and the sides are usually hot. They offer a lot of choices so you can mix and match whether you want veggies, rice, or noodles. Flavors are limiting such as teriyaki and hibachi but the sauces the offer make up for that. Went in on a Friday night at 7:45 to get food. Half of the chairs were already stacked. They are VERY stingy on their meat. Ordered kids shrimp meals for my 3 & 7 year old. They only gave them 3 shrimp each. I'm sorry by a toddler eats more than 3 shrimp. My husband and I each had a steak meal and the adult meat portions were more appropriate for a child. They put 12 LITTLE bites of steak in each box. Save your time and money and go around the corner and get a good meal with more than enough food at Little Panda for the same price. read more

Let me just start by saying how much I love Japanese food. I love it so much that I bought a griddle top to cook it at home. I personally think what I cook is the best...but when I can't cook it at home, Hashi is my go-to spot. You get a generous portion for the price. The chicken and shrimp that I have had in the past were a smidge over cooked but I can forgive that. They are also very generous with their ginger, teriyaki, and mustard sauce. If you want Japanese food and have a little cash, stop into Hashi. You won't be disappointed. read more
