We were seated quickly and I wish I remembered our waitress's name- she took such great care of us, always checked on our drinks and made sure we had all we needed. She was prompt with the check and the payment, which is where a ton of people leave us wondering where they are for entirely too long. Our sushi roll appetizer came out in great time, as did our food. The people I was with both got hibachi, and I got a rainbow roll (I always have spicy mayo and eel sauce added to the top). I will say the portions of their hibachi were nearly more kid-sized... I wouldn't even call that 6 oz of steak. It's more like they cooked one NY strip and split it for their orders. The scallops were cooked well, but the sauce kind of...took away from them. It's not a typical sauce for that type of meal. The place looks great inside, had a few tv's on, nothing was too loud, wasn't too hot or freezing inside. All in all I'm glad our original choice turned out to be a food truck so we got to come to this one instead. read more

It was good. The place is an old fast food restaurant but looks better on the inside. Service was nice. I'm picky when it comes to tempura and this place was excellent. No grease flavor at all and crispy. We had meals and were not impressed. But the rice, the sushi we did get, and soup were good. Stick with the sushi, not the meals. This place shocked me! I'm from Austin and came to visit Snyder for my husband's work trip. I was not planning on even thinking about sushi then saw this place had really good reviews so I ordered take out. We got spicy edamame, chicken hibachi, the BMW roll and Angry Yellowtail. SO DELICIOUS! The rice with the chicken hibachi was the best I've ever had and the chicken was perfect! Rolls were so good I didn't need soy sauce, so fresh and tons of flavor! My husband and I stopped by after we heard there was a new sushi place in town. We started with an order shrimp tempura and a house salad. The shrimp tempura was excellent. Crispy, clean tasting (no old oil), and not too dark. But what was really great was the dipping sauce- it was crazy delicious. My husband said he could drink it. The salads were also good and pretty large. The dressing could have used a little more ginger and a little less water for us but it was still really good. We ordered four rolls. The BMW was really good and the favorite of the dinner. The three other rolls were also good but not as great as the BMW. Overall I thought all the rolls were a little sweet. The fish tasted fresh (not too fishy) and the rolls were assembled well. We were starved and ended up ordering too much. These rolls are good sized. The service was excellent. Attentive, pleasant, competent and efficient. The served also gently commented that the sushi we ordered was raw. We order those specifically, but in Snyder I can see why they may want to subtly ensure people know what they're ordering. The decor is odd. It's like most of it was already there from a diner/bar and the sushi moved in over the top. We will come again. read more

Coming from DFW, it was difficult to find a good quality hibachi grill in WTX. When we found this place in Snyder, we were very pleased. However, my last few experiences have been less than good. My wife and I wanted to spend a nice relaxing night at home, so we decided to have take out from the Sushi House. For 2 hibachi plates, we paid $45, but the disappointing part was the portions and the lack of quality that was paid to our meals. Normally, or in the past, the meals have been more than enough food. This time, the meal was neglected and half full. Maybe it was the lack of meat, 4 total vegetables, 1/2 full rice or 3 pieces of lettuce they called a salad. Needless to say, we called, but the complaint was not received very well. From now on, we will be going to Big Spring for hibachi. I recommend you do the same!! read more

Worst service, they charge you $30 for a meal that should have been $15. Ordered filet and shrimp and ended up with sirloin meat. Meal was supposed to come with soup. It never came for the whole table. Manager still expected us to pay full price for our meal. Bottom line don't come here you will leave hungry and mad. I came here on a work trip from out of town. I was a bit surprised to see a sushi restaurant in BFE Texas. Everything inside me said "don't do it!", but it was one of the highest rated restaurants in Snyder on Yelp and my options were limited for a Sunday evening. For starters I had the miso soup, which was extremely salty, and the orange ginger salad. The orange ginger salad dressing was creamy. It tasted like they added mayo to the dressing, which is not an ingredient of this dressing. Regardless of what made it creamy, it totally killed the fresh ginger and carrot vibe this salad is meant to have. My main course was the spicy tuna roll and Philadelphia roll. Both were way too warm/room temperature and the Philly roll had a bad tang to it. The only highlight of the meal was the freshness of the spicy tuna roll. read more

I soon as I walked I could tell I wouldn't be disappointed. The restaurant was clean and the service was wonderful. As they went to seat us down the hostess had accidentally dropped the menu, but hurriedly went and got another one. We sat down and our drinks were ordered immediately. The place was very cozy and comfortable. A lot of people might be hesitant ordering sushi in West Texas, but this place did not disappoint! I was skeptical of a sushi house in such a small place in tx, I won't even lie... My MIL works in Snyder and heard good things about this place and I was passing through so we stopped here. The service was AMAZING. Our waitress held my baby and even bought my kiddos a little toy from the coin machines. I ate steak and chicken hibachi and it was the absolute best hibachi chicken I have ever had. The steak was great, rice was flavorful, soup before the meal was amazing. Again, the staff was amazing. Even if the food wasn't great (which it was) the service was grade A. Even my shyest child hugged them when we were leaving. I can't wait to go there again... so impressed. I didn't try the sushi but next tine we visit I plan to. This place was better than my usual favorite place in Lubbock. read more

Went there on a Friday evening. The place was under construction. So there was limited sitting. Had to groups ahead of us. The groups ahead of us were seated as seating come available. Waited approximately 30 minutes. Then a group came in and the hostess and the party came in any they both said hi. Apparently they new each other. They talked on and off. As our seating come available. The group that came in and was talking to the hostess seating got our table. After seating them. She came over and said we were next.
