We have lived here almost 10 years. Our apartment is not renovated but yet our rent's going up $224 a month. The biggest increase ever. The pool heater is broken and has been since year 2 of us being here. The past few years I have asked if it'll be fixed. I was told yes until recently when they suggested I go to a sister property to use the pool since they have no intent to fix and the pool is extra cold even during the summer. It's not cheap, I pay $1500 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment but it's worth the money, but only because of it being in Santa Rosa. Anywhere where places are reasonably priced it should only cost hast this much. That said, you get what you pay for and here that means you get a nice, large, clean, quiet apartment. The pool was supposed to be heated year 'round but that didn't work out. After burning out two pool heaters and having an electric bill that was way higher than anyone expected, they've decided to quit trying to heat the damn thing in winter. The hot tub however is still hot enough to boil a lobster. Or so it feels to my poor skin. My wife thinks it just right however. Damn women and their "it must be boiling or it's not hot enough" attitutde.. hehe. Vince the manager is awesome. When we first moved in a year ago there was another management team but the place sold and now we have really great management. There is an on-site fitness room that is kinda small and doesn't have all that much to offer but it's enough to get you buy and it doesn't cost you $40+ a month like the local gyms so I'm not complaining. Only downside really is the parking situation. Everyone gets a reserved spot and that's just fine. If you have more than one vehicle however, be prepared to walk because you might have to park quite a distance. Then again it really depends on which building you are in. I'm on the popular side. If you live on the back side then there is lots of convenient parking. Bottom line: I don't think you'll find anything else this large for this amount of rent. The other places I looked at were all quite small and at 1,326 this isn't huge, but for a 2 bedroom apartment it's perfect. EDIT: I originally gave this place five stars but it's continually gone down hill. While I used to be able to overlook the minor annoyances, the problems continue to pile up. First, the pool... it's not heated. Sure they advertised that it's heated year round and for the first 10 or so months it was heated just fine. Since that time it's been a crap shoot. Their excuses range from the heater breaking to they just can't afford it. What? They can't afford it? It's an amenity that the residents here pay for. The gym... basic equipment and it used to have a tv in there. Then the tv supposedly got stolen. First we were told the previous owners took it with them when they place sold but then the story changed and we were told someone stole it. It took a year for a new one to be put up. A year! That one worked for a month and then the cable service was off. Then the cable box was gone. Now we have a tv hanging on the wall that isn't connected to anything. That's real useful. We've had four managers since I've lived here. The current one, Jim, is apparently on administrative leave, as is the only maintenance guy. Rumor is they got into it and both are off pending an investigation. The great thing about our wonderful manager is he likes to gossip. He gossips about us residents. Latest gossip is that the two lovely ladies living above me are escorts. He doesn't know this for sure but they wouldn't tell him where they work, just that it's in San Fran. So he assumes because they are pretty, they must be escorts. Then he tells other residents about his suspicions. Real classy. What else? Some of the residents are idiots but I guess that's to be expected. I don't like having 20+ people running up and down the stairs next to my bedroom at 2 am but thanks to my wonderful neighbor and his late night parties, that's now to be expected. We've also had some non-residents jumping the fence and using the pool and hot tub... that was a couple weeks back when the pool was actually heated. They didn't cause any trouble so I didn't say anything but apparently there have been a few times with other non-residents have been there eating and drinking in the hot tub and they were asked to leave. Since when can you rent an apartment and not list your employment information? That's ridiculous. Have they quit doing background and credit checks? I loved the place when I first moved in and overall it's not terrible but the little stuff is really starting to piss me off. If the pool wasn't heated for a week or two, no big deal, but this is getting ridiculous. read more

Overall these are nice apartments, but management tends to spring things on residents at the last minute. We cannot split our rent payments in the online portal anymore, which we weren't told about. It's the first of the month so this causes some pretty significant problems. read more

We lived here for a year 3-2014 to 3-2015. It wasn't horrible but it was heading that way. I felt like Mike lied to us just to get us to rent. He told us there was a 6 foot thick beam between the upstairs and downstairs. Not true at all you could hear the upstairs people walking back and forth incessantly! It got pretty old after a while. We would've gladly waited for an upstairs unit. The parking was horrible, everyone got one space all the way around back. We had 3 cars so closer spaces weren't a reality. The Manager got a reserved space, then another two spaces by the office for Two of his cars. Very annoying. The two dumpsters had so much trash because people couldn't put there trash in the bins and they just filled up way to fast. It was disgusting to even bring trash out. The gym had equipment that was really outdated and hard to use. Not very safe at all. Way too much gossip from the Manager and Maintenance worker about the tenants which is BS. Dogs crapped so much outside our slider sometimes we had to shut our door from the stink. The apt was large with an ok layout. The bedrooms are at opposite sides of apt. But master closet was so small and uneven. The good was if something was broke they did fix it fast. The maintenance guy complained the entire time. UGH! When we moved in it was $1702 now little over a year later its $2335! So we did have to move because we couldn't afford it. Which was ok because it's definitely Not worth it, I cannot in anyway recommend moving in these apartments! Also when we moved cleaned that place for like a day and a half. It was cleaner when we left then when we moved in. But got back $125 out of $1000 totally feel so ripped off. I expected a little wear in tear and carpet cleaning but the whole deposit, we were stolen from!! Renter beware you are warned Not to rent from this place... read more

I love my home. Harvest Park apartments gives you a sense of community. Michaela (property manager) runs this place extremely well. She is caring, efficient and extremely professional. My apartment home has been updated with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, laundry room and the apartment is very large. I don't have a dog but you can see lots of really friendly dogs. I have lived in houses, mobile homes and apartments. By far this is the best home I have lived in. read more

I have lived here for 1 year and 8 months and I still stand by my previous review. Michaela is an amazing property manager. Raphael is amazing as well. This is how living in an apartment complex is about. The urgency to get things done is just top notch. The vibe of the complex has not changed since I lived in which says a lot about the property team and that says a lot about Michaela. Great job Davlyn on this property. This place has black mold! Whatever you do, don't rent from this place! I never write negative reviews but this place has me so pissed off that this is going to be my first bad review. Let me start off by saying the management is terrible, especially the head property manager Gene. He is absolutely unwilling to work with you and unsympathetic to any of your complaints. The gym had no cleaning products in it to wipe down any of the equipment, of which there is very limited. We had to bring our own Lysol wipes to clean the equipment. when I requested that a cleaning product be put in there it took over a month for them to put something in there for people to clean the gym equipment off. Next big complaint is the mold issue. My fiance and I both started suffering from respiratory issues only 2 months into the apartment lease. We tried cleaning the mold from the bathroom and the bedroom, but it kept coming back (it was black mold not mildew). It kept coming back in the same spots and was not a topical mold it was obviously coming through the ceiling. Whoever painted the bathroom before our move obviously just painted over the mold and trapped it between layers of paint. A few months after moving in we also noticed mold growing in the bedroom at the corner of the ceiling. When I requested somebody to come look at it all they did was send the maintenance guy, who has absolutely no knowledge of mycology, come and just wipe it off and say, "there look it's fine." We have incurred hundreds of dollars in medical costs trying to figure out pulmonary issues and immediately upon moving out both of our symptoms started to improve, and after three weeks our symptoms are gone. The next issue is the pool area. There IS only supposed to be one guest per resident and this is not monitored at all as there are groups of families that I am positive do not live there showing up and overcrowding the pool. This made it so that we never even wanted to go down there. Also the next complaint with the pool area is that the hot tub is only about 92 degrees and after multiple requests to increase the temperature, nothing ever happened. The fourth complaint is that after our first year of rent, the rate was going to be raised by $200 which made what we were getting unreasonable. If you are looking to rent somewhere, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere as there are far better options for apartments. read more

So far our move in to our new apartment has been amazing. Amanda has made everything so easy and she is super lovely to chat with over the phone. Haven't personally met her yet since we are dealing with the Corona Virus, and all of our chats have been contactless. But nonetheless everything was super easy to do. Under new management, and I wasn't impressed when I lived there. I called about something, and the assistant gave me the wrong information 3x. I e-mailed her also, and she basically lied saying that she never received my e-mail. She actually did receive it, and just never responded to it after a week. When I called, and got the manager about the same issue she corrected the information the assistant told me. The manager basically scolded me, and "taught me" what the policy was in a very ungentle, and rushing way. I felt like I was basically being an inconvenience to her. They fired their security guard which would of helped my issue and told me "they aren't involved." Not very compassionate. They never fixed my freezing/leaking fridge for 4 months, and didn't really seem to care about it. They did replace my bad fridge with a bad fridge once. Over winter my water and heat both went out so I didn't have water/heat for a week. I had to walk over to a model unit to shower. No compensation. Upon move out I did not get any of my $500 deposit back. In fact I owed them, and my apartment wasn't that bad at all. So don't count on getting that back. If you want an overpriced place to live with horrible customer service, Harvest Park is your place. Bonus: people going through your trashcan's 24/7 taking who knows what out of there. Check police reports too. There have been a few break-in's in the area. Meanwhile their rents are skyrocketing for their remodels. Like $2,500+ for a 2 bedroom/2 bath I bet. Pros: The maintenance guy is super friendly and chatty. The apartments are super nice and spacious inside, and the property is gorgeous. Dog/pet friendly. read more

I just called to get some info on there pet policy and the guy was incredibly rude, and not helpful at all. He wouldn't listen to me when I was trying to tell him about my dog. He was fixated on thinking I said my dog was a pit mix when that's not what I said. He was saying that pit mix is the same as heeler mix! WHAT AN IDIOT! He had no idea what he was talking about and his customer service skill were non existent! I would never live here! read more

We love living at Harvest Park apartments. The apartments are super clean, large and have all the extras you could ever need. The facility is clean and very safe. The staff is so friendly and caring and knows everyone in our family, including our puppy who loves to visit the office regularly. We feel like life long friends. Our neighbors are friendly and caring as well. We could not ask for a better place to live. read more

And don't even get me started on the fact that at the end of our term we go 94 dollars back from our deposit due to the lack of explanation from the manager and his assistants. seriously, if i could give this place a 0 star rating i would. i CURRENTLY live here, and i think this place is BULLSHIT. good luck trying to get a hold of the property manager. (what a joke he is.) this apartment complex is like a pretty girl with a fucked up attitude. looks nice, but when you move in, you really see it for what it really is. i think the manager is poorly trained and doesnt do his job very well. i plan on moving out very soon and breaking my lease. its most def worth it. read more

Lived here almost 2 years. The apartments are large and the neighborhood is quiet. Most people have dogs and it's a very animal friendly place. I like that there's a dog park right across the street. The manager Mike is on top of it, he explains things well and somehow knows everyone's name. The maintenance man Randy is friendly and clearly overworked. Get him some help! But he'll stop and have a conversation with the 5 year old in the pool that wants to have more waves so it's like the ocean. My only complaint is the location. Most food places don't deliver and the closest Safeway is on the other side of town. I guess if I wanted to be picky then I would say that I also wish the hot tub was hotter. read more
