A lot (if not all) of the birds have been injured and would not have survived in nature. There is a wide variety including an egret, birds of prey, pelicans and some common starlings and gulls. Allow about an hour to tour the facility which is outdoors. Admission is free and parking is in the large lot adjacent to the facility. Very enjoyable as the weather was perfect and most of the birds were active.

They Truly Care!…read more They are a non-profit organization. I saw some of their kitties that were up for adoption at Pet Supermarket. Pet Supermarket allows them to have some space to show some of the cats & kittens that they have up for adoption. We went into Pet Supermarket for items for our other kitty, but fell in love with one of the cats they had up for adoption. The store phoned the organization rep., she came right down & interviewed us, & we were able to go home with our new baby. Their kitties have been examined by a vet, spayed or neutered, treated for internal & external parasites, & will have up to date vaccines. We love this organization & want to adopt another kittie from them. Oh, they also take (& need) donations of money, food, supplies - whatever you can spare.
