Received the K-Dream Massage from Thalia early May 2026. Everything about Haru was on point. Reception is peaceful and the salon is dimly lit, so getting into a relaxed state of mind is easier. Thalia is highly professional, but still warm. She explained everything so well, that I had every confidence in the treatment she provided. I came out of the other side from the massage in a happy, dreamy state. read more

Thalia is simply amazing. The service is impeccable. The atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. Her hands are magic. She is professional and understands the meaning of a spa day. This was the best experience, my client and I left in cloud 9. We left with our hair feeling so much softer and more knowledgeable as to how to take care of our scalp and hair. We loved the massages we received while we got our hair spa and facial done. Very relaxing and the specialist were very professional, nice, and soft with our heads. read more

So much fun!!! My bestie and I decided to do experiences for Christmas instead of exchanging gifts. We decided to book the Haru Head Spa, and we are glad we did. It was so awesome. The booking was really easy. There was parking in the lot, and they gave you very specific directions so it is easy to find. We checked in and were taken back to the stations immediately. They did the scalp microscope and wow--let's just say we were glad we came bc we both needed it. After you are taken to a back room that is so relaxing. It is very dimly lit and there was relaxing music playing. We laid in massage chairs while we got our treatments. I was 6 months postpartum so it was especially enjoyable. After they take you take and show you the scalp results again, and you can see a dramatic difference. I love that they didn't try to upsell products. Nothing ruins the relaxation experience more than feeling forced to purchase something while you're just trying to enjoy the peace you came for. I will totally be back. It was a wonderful experience. read more

Ray was incredible--kind, knowledgeable, and so welcoming. She walked me through the entire process, even showing me images of my scalp and explaining exactly what was going on, which I really appreciated. The scalp massage combined with the hands, shoulders, and hot stone treatment was beyond relaxing--I nearly fell asleep. By the end, my scalp felt so clean and my hair looked and felt amazing. She also gave helpful recommendations for at-home care and suggested quarterly visits. I'm already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend! read more

I think I hyped myself up too much for this head spa because I heard so many amazing things about head spas in general. The ladies here are friendly but with their steep prices, I wished they spent more time education us. The massage chair was very nice & the head massage/shampoo felt great. However, when we got to the chair, it was just okay. The magnified scalp imaging was quick & when I had asked about different products they recommended for what they saw, it seemed like they did not know much. Then they put several different products in my hair without telling me what it is & how it would help. read more

I will begin with the cost...it is OVERPRICED! They are the monopoly in town and they know it. You can get the same treatment in LA for half the cost. The hair washing chair is not designed for folks with back problems. There are ways around it but you won't get the full massage experience. Only reasons I didn't give 5 stars. HOWEVER, the experience is AMAZING! The staff is genuinely friendly and dedicated to your experience being spectacular! The water is warm, the ambiance is quiet and soothing. They dry your hair only; no styling but they have 2 vanity stations where you can bring your own supplies and dryer to style your hair. I've gone twice now and had wonderful experiences. Save your money and book an appointment, you won't be sorry. read more

I came here for Mother's Day for the K-dream and was helped by Ivonne T. She was very nice and my scalp, hair and face feel AMAZING, but the experience wasn't quite what I had expected from reviews etc. The place is cute but the vibe felt a bit odd to me. The space is open like a hair salon and so you and the other customers are all kind of together, which is good if you're with a group or friend but it was just me and then other groups. The cost is $250 but any Instagram code will get you $50 off. The experience is supposed to be 90 minutes but they also tell you to come early. I did, and ended up waiting about 15 minutes past the start of my appointment. The insulation isn't great so while we waited in the quiet waiting area we could hear the girls on the back talking and laughing til they came out. Ivonne was nice and explained about hair and scalp tips to address my hair thinning issues. The chairs are cool and the many treatments were interesting though the whole thing felt like it passed fairly quickly. It took less than an hour til I was back in the assessment chair and she did the final treatments and scan with the tea. I think the experience came closer to 70 minutes when I was done and it felt overall less professional and luxurious than I expected for the price. Overall I'm glad I tried it, but I would rather do a massage or facial at a more conventional spa. I am curious to try a Korean spa in LA though where there are more options. read more

My daughter got me a gift certificate here for my birthday. Booked a 90 minute appt and used an Instagram referral and received $50 off. Without it, a 90 minute massage would have been $250. Came here with a couple of my friends. Our appt was at 10 am. There were plenty of parking spots. But after our appt was done, the parking was full and cars waiting for people to leave. They start you out by giving you a towel to wrap around your upper body and a robe. They give you a basket to put your stuff in that you bring with you every where you go. Then they take you to a chair where they take a picture of your scalp. Then you go to a massage bed that is on the whole time you are getting your scalp massage. The massage was very good. I had Czarina and she was excellent. Her massages were the right pressure. She also gave me a mini facial and neck and arm massage. After that was over, they take you back to the same chair you were in initially and they do more scalp massage. They also offer you tea or champagne after. Overall it was an excellent experience. One star less because of the price. read more

Has Jessica twice this year and she's amazing! She's goes in depth about the right products to use and has the perfect pressure for me while massaging. I was dreaming of this treatment since I vicariously experienced it via ASMR videos on you tube. Service was efficient and friendly with a special kudos to my massage therapist although I can't remember her name! I got the most amazing head treatment from Thalia. No one has ever ever ever gotten my hair so clean as I wear a lot of extensions and everyone just breezes through my hair without taking consideration how much it needs to be cleaned between the tracks she takes her time she gives an amazing head massage and she is a phenomenal stylist. Really enjoyed this! Just accept it's costly or don't do it. It's second floor back entrance. No problem parking in their lot but we went in the AM. At 1 PM there was no parking in the lot so be aware of that. The women that work there are great. Very warm and personable and skillful. In addition to all the amazing scalp treatments in a massage chair, you also get neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage and a mini facial. Skin looked amazing after and being a Korean spa, one of the components in the facial was snail slime, for lack of a better word. Worked great! Calm soothing atmosphere. They show you before and after photos of your scalp. Dry your hair but no styling. Lovely exotic Korean floral tea or champagne is offered. Take the tea! It's amazing. I couldn't believe how fast 90 minutes went. The only thing I wish was if when you book as a first time person, they gave you a clue what to expect and honestly when you should wash your hair before you go. My therapist was just wonderful and there was absolutely no sell hype. I will definitely return as this is a unique experience and it was fairly easy to book. read more

I visited Haru Head Spa because my skin had been feeling dry and dull, and I received a skincare treatment from Cristy. From the very beginning, she greeted me warmly and carefully examined my skin condition, which made me feel confident and comfortable. Since it was my first time receiving this type of treatment, I had many questions, and Cristy explained everything in a very professional and easy-to-understand way. She was always kind, patient, and welcoming, which made the entire experience very relaxing. After the treatment, she also gave me detailed instructions on how to take care of my skin. After the session, I received many compliments saying my skin looked healthier and more radiant. It genuinely felt like my skin was glowing and well-balanced. I was extremely satisfied with the results and will definitely come back to receive treatment from Cristy again. She is truly professional and kind--I couldn't be happier with the experience!

This was my first experience at a head spa and thought it was a perfect opportunity to treat myself. They are located in a shopping plaza on Mercury and at least there is a parking lot, however that area can get really crowded. They are on the second level and you kind of have to walk around the corner to get to the front door. Inside it is a nice spa environment with cute neon signs, foliage and waiting area. It actually was a little smaller than I imagined and could get quite loud if you have lots of people talking and/or blow drying hair, perhaps a wall between the front and back areas would be nice. Especially since the back area contains the massage/treatment beds. I came in for the K-Dream treatment and the service experience from beginning to end was great - they explained everything rather thoroughly. The whole process was super interesting to me, especially when they did the microscopic scalp screening where they show you "problem areas". I definitely felt pampered by the scalp treatment, massages and facial. There were so many that I couldn't count and probably because I was so relaxed. Another plus was the treatment bed gave you a full body massage. Lastly, they do an "after" scalp screening and you can see the difference! Another nice touch was the Korean flower tea. While they do blow dry your hair after, they really only do the scalp area and not the rest. I wish they were able to blow dry all the hair since it can be uncomfortable and cold walking around with mostly wet hair. To conclude, I also waited a week to write this review so I could include my observations during that time. My scalp actually feels cleaner, less itchy and no dandruff. I guess I will have to see about the hair growth but overall it was a pleasant experience and would probably return. read more

I loved the massage bed throughout the entire process and I've done another head spa in another city and my hair felt so clean for 4 days and pin straight. This was pricey for the service, however if you want some fu-fu relaxation, this isn't a bad spot. My hair looked different after but not to the extent of my first time. Hair was greasy after 1.5 days. Relaxing vibe. read more

Such a fun and relaxing experience! I've never done anything quite like this before so I wasn't totally sure what to expect. It was much more of a full massage than I was expecting which was an awesome surprise. The massage chairs are excellent and nothing feels better than a head/hair massage and scrub. The before and after photos of my scalp were also eye opening! Would love to try this again for another special occasion! read more

I received this visit as a gift. It was an interesting experience. They analyze your scalp and show you a close up picture of your hair and scalp. Then you are put into a massage chair and your hair is treated in a variety of ways. I wish they explained exactly each process more as it was performed. They work on your scalp for pretty long. It is not a gentle process - because they clean your scalp well. At the end they show you a before and after picture of your scalp. One thing I didn't like was that they don't dry your hair all the way. The people are very nice and personal. Would I return? Probably not for the cost, but other people love it. read more

Answered all my questions and recommended a few products (both lower priced and higher priced options for what I needed) Was well worth the cost in my opinion. read more

Your scalp is super important for the health of your hair so it only makes sense to pamper it, right?! I've been to K-spas before but this one is uniquely focused on treating your scalp, which was a new concept for me. I didn't know what to expect but the technology and science behind the process and treatments made my nerdy side happy and the experience was very relaxing and so worth it! I got the K-dream 90 min package. First they took really close up images of my scalp to customize the treatment to my needs. The images made me question my ability to clean my own head all these years...like wth have I been doing?! But once I got past the shock , I got the best head, face and neck massage/treatment of my life, all while sitting in a big fancy massage chair. Hot stones, cold masks, aromatherapy, gua sha, all of it...I got the works! After drying my hair, they completed my treatment with some light, electricity, and stimulating therapies before showing me my results...OMG such a big difference! My scalp not only looked healthier and moisturized, I could actually feel the difference. Even my face was glowing and I just felt so relaxed overall. I don't know what magic they did, but it was AMAZING and much needed. Definitely treat yourself! Tip: The spa is located up the stairs, go left down the hallway away from the parking lot and it'll be in your right. read more

I feel so lucky to have gotten the k-dream service today. Truly the most relaxing 90 minutes of my life! It was my first time doing anything like this. If you're on the fence about it, do it! You will not regret it. My k-dream was done by Cristy. She had the best energy and was so kind, gentle and informative. It was super cool to see the before and after shots of my scalp and to be able to learn some new tricks to reap the benefits of the service. Just one thing to be mindful/aware of is that they do not fully dry hair at the end which this evening was not the vibe with the colder temps outside. I was not impressed with the quality of service I received at Haru Head Spa. Given the high price of the head spa treatment, I expected the esthetician, to provide some information about the process, including what causes scalp buildup and which products are recommended to address scalp issues. During the hair wash, instead of gently moving my head, she pulled on my hair and awkwardly repositioned my head. Additionally, while giving a hand massage, she did not apply the lotion evenly on my arms, which left white streaks all over. Overall, this experience felt like an expensive shampoo and conditioner wash, something I could easily get at a regular hair salon for a much lower price. I will not be returning for a second visit. read more

I had the best time at Haru Head spa when I came here couple months ago. The salon is SO clean, the staff are so nice, I truly felt relaxed which is so hard when life is moving so fast everyday. I didnt know much about scalp before this session too and it was very educational. The massage was next level too as i LOVE head scratches and this session was head scratches on steroids (not literally but felt so good) . All while hair is getting cleaned and head is getting massages, their massage chair was getting to all my tissues head to toe. Highly recommend this escape. read more

My friend and I got the K Dream for $250. The tech was nice, and the place is clean and aesthetic. After checking in you are given a box with a robe. After changing you are guided to a chair. I felt like the scalp analysis was rushed but she took a quick picture to use as her "before photo". The massage chairs you lay in are ok. The head and neck massage was great. She was pretty rough with my hair but I'm not tender headed. If I was I'd probably be crying. I wish they'd tell you what they're putting on your face and scalp as they're doing it. The many tools they use on your scalp feel good until the end when she scrubbed my scalp and hair with something that felt like a boar brush, I could tell it was either ripping or gonna be seriously knotted. When she was done she walked me back to the chair for a quick blow dry and after photo. She had trouble finding a good after photo lol as my scalp still had stuff on it. She started to brush my hair and could not get an awful knot out. She said "do you typically get knotted hair" and i was like "Never" lol. You won't leave looking cute, as it's a very rough blow dry. Overall I probably won't go back due to the price. It's not worth $250, but I'd say maybe $100. read more

I wish I could leave a review about the quality of service received. However, the two times I have made appointments here, both times the business canceled on me due to issues with the technicians being unable to come into work. I understand these things happen - but I've never had it happen twice in a row on the only two occasions I've made appointments with this business. On top of that, each appointment requires a deposit. Apparently, the only person that can provide refunds is the owner, who wasn't there at the time, so I am still waiting to receive a refund of my deposit for the appointment the business cancelled. This is poor service. I will not be returning. read more

I am grateful that I gave Haru Head Spa another try after their soft opening. I had the pleasure of Christy being my aesthetician and she was very gentle with my scalp. She was well spoken and informed me of what everything was and what her tools did for my scalp. We examined my pictures of my scalp before and after and she was able to develop a treatment specifically for my needs before we got into the massage chair. She explained all this to me before the head spa began so I felt very much in good hands. After the head spa and very nice facial, we headed back to the chair and Christy explained to me more in depth what she did and what she was doing next, how each tool works and its purposes as well as offering my a cup of tea which was probably the best tea I've ever had at a spa! It was so enjoyable! The whole experience was truly what I was looking for when I made my appointment and I am so glad I decided to come back here! read more

My friend and I were excited to try a head spa for the first time. The experience was very relaxing, from the robes and the massage chair to the actual scalp cleaning. It was cool to see how much buildup was on the scalp. I was interested in a lot of the products they were using but as somebody in another review said, they don't really explain each step or let you know what's in anything so it isn't curated to your skin or hair types. For example, I asked what was in the buildup removing solution they used on my hair and the technician said she actually didn't know, but the owners made it. I have oily/dry skin but I don't know what products they used on my facial. Either way, my face and skin felt nice. I'm somebody who loves product recommendations so I asked my stylist what products she used herself. I was told that I'd probably have to come back in 6-8 weeks to get more of my scalp buildup off. My hair felt really good afterward, but I didn't get any aftercare instructions - I went straight to the beach and got a scalp sunburn! My friend and I got different bits and pieces from each of our stylists about caring for our hair to prevent further buildup. We also were offered hot tea or champagne. We paid for the 250.00 experience, and we enjoyed ourselves, but we also felt it was maybe a bit rushed. Overall, it was fun, but maybe just a one time thing here I think. It was kind of expensive for what it was! read more

We then moved into another area where I relaxed on a heated massage bed that slowly lifted my legs, creating an incredibly calming experience from the very beginning. The treatment included a facial, décolleté and arm massage, exfoliation, and soothing hot stone therapy. After this amazing moment we moved back on the chair where they continued to the scalp treatment using a massager and a blu and red light therapy. My scalp never felt so clean! They also offer a vanity area with complimentary lotions, fragrances and SPF cream to complete your glow-up I'll come back in a couple months to maintain my scalp clean and have a super relaxing experience! read more
