After many office visits, various contact lenses and several different glasses prescriptions, it was finally determined that they could not correct my vision with these conservative methods. Cataract surgery was recommended. Several more office visits and tests. Then another wait for several months. Finally, it was a week prior to my scheduled surgery for the first eye. No confirmation call from the office or surgery center after my required PCP release was sent in. So I called them to be assured all the requirements were in place prior to the surgery. The exceptionally rude staff member that took my call essentially yelled at me for bothering her. She rudely informed my that the surgery was canceled. No explanation why. Just simply that it was canceled. Abruptly she hug up on me. After multiple return phone calls to understand what was going on, I finally was able to speak with one semi-helpful staff member. I was informed there was an issue with my insurance and the surgery had been cancelled. No one thought to call and inform me of the cancellation when that was done?!? No phone call, no letter in the mail. Nothing. Just canceled without informing the patient. This place has become disorganized, disrespectful and rude. In the past it was a good group of vision specialists. My eyes were sure opened by this experience. Needless to say, I'm no longer a patient at this practice. Nor are my parents, husband, son, sister, nieces and several friends. I wouldn't trust this group with my vision!!! read more
