The place only has street parking and you have to enter and walk through a tiny alley to get to the entrance which is located at the back of the building. They had friendly staff and a variety of different ice cream flavours. Their regular 1 scoop ($4) cone was huge and you have the option of getting it in a cup. I got the butter pecan and it was delicious! Their seating is only outdoor and minimal (only 3 picnic tables) located at the entrance of the establishment. I would totally recommend if you're near by the area!

This place sells kawartha dairy ice cream in a variety of flavours and it is very fresh. You can buy the ice cream in a cup, regular cone, or waffle cone.. and you have the option of getting 1 scoop, 2 scoops, or 3 scoops. There is a nice seating area outside which is super hip looking with pink and grey painted walls. There is also adequate benches and chairs outside for you to sit and enjoy the ice cream with friends. In addition to selling ice cream, this place also has a small market inside where they sell what looks like merch and random nick nacks. We were not able to see or experience the market as we went here close to closing time, but it looks pretty cool. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area and are craving for some kawartha dairy ice cream!

They get fans from the hockey games next door at the skating rink, the many tourists that take a pit stop as they travel to Barrie, and construction workers from the surrounding areas. What makes SWS special is that they have a 60's vibe with decor and music, they sell delicious Kawartha ice cream, and the owners also own the pizza joint in the back (Ref's Pizza). Lots of flavors to choose from: Interesting ones like Moose Tracks, Tiger, Wolf's Paws, Bear Claw, Banana Boat and Heavenly Hash. After sampling, I went with the ever popular Bordeaux Cherry. It was creamy, full of flavor and packed with delicious cherries. Cannot forget to mention the small town feel and the warm hospitality of the staff, who happens to be the daughter of the owners. Marina was ever so helpful in guiding me through my choices and also filling me in on the area. A great pit stop during the warm months (they close for the season in November) on your way up north.

They extended their business with a hot dog cart out front called "Wienielicious" which let me tell you is a VERY fitting name. It was one of the best hot dogs I've had from a vender and for only 3$ it was absolutely filling. But of course we couldn't pass on ice cream either!! If you are in the area you definitely need to visit this shop the owners are always so friendly and cheery. They have a variety of ice cream flavours which can also be turned into a good milkshake. And they have soft service option as well.

Their serving are generous to say the least (they alone is worth a rare five stars), and the staff are super friendly. Offering ice cream and frozen yogurt there is something here for everyone. The next time I stop by I will need to check out the other store in the building - Georgina's local Board Shop. Next time you are up to the lake for a swim or camping at Sibbalds or simply out for a drive be sure to stop by Moolicious- you won't be disappointed.
