This is a place to go back to regularly as the stock is always changing. This location is very convenient for me and there are other great stores plus restaurants nearby.

All boxstores are spread out fairly far apart that it would take some time to walk to each one. I did like this Winners. When I was in high school, I wore a couple of pairs of Tretorn tennis shoes. The problem for me back then was the the largest size that Tretorn made for women was a size 10. I needed a size 11. Instead, I ended up dipping into wearing men's Tretorn shoes. I ended up getting the logo in navy blue and white. Not exciting! My friend and I hit the women's shoe section. She found a cute, glittery pair of boots that fit her perfectly! She found them to be comfortable, even though she wouldn't be caught dead going on a date with them on. I feel that she is my lucky charm whenever we go to a Winners together. I found a fun pair of Tretorns in a size 11. They were patterned and they fit more comfortably than I recall. The footbed is far better than it used to be. I bought them without hesitation. This store is clean, bright, and decent, including the washrooms. The woman who helped me cash out was cheerful and upbeat. There wasn't a huge lineup on a Saturday afternoon. I would stop by this store again if I am in the area. (176)

Gross unprofessionalism at Walmart!!!! Robert Store Manager…read moreat Harmony and Taunton, Oshawa Won't give his last name and said he's not police to give badge number. Complete bully, intimidating, aggressive, talking over me, talking down on me, will not even allow me to talk or express or explain my problem, wouldn't even listen or try to help me. It was like he just came out to FIGHT ME!! Asked me to leave the store and that he's done arguing with me He was very cheeky no customer service The first customer service representative also asked me a rhetorical question/ cheeky question when I first presented the receipt She called this lady who came from the back he was standing way behind close to the employees offices and talking with me with great unprofessionalism The distance was such that I could barely hear her and requested that she comes closer She was asking me where's the product when I had already returned it so I don't even know if she understood what was going on I kept telling them I'm not there to argue I can appreciate what he's talking about but his attitude is appalling Very very very rude store manager ROBERT and such a BAD EXAMPLE to staff. That is probably why the first 2 employees were also rude, unprofessional Why can you not deliver a message to a customer without being so presumptuous, rude, arrogant and also why not offer what are my next steps even when I kept asking rather than just arguing He would never let me finish my sentences and he kept cutting in. I purchased the item on December 17 so still within 90 days but store manager said it is outside the 90day window

I love Winners. I spotted this location after shopping at Farm Boy…read more The funny thing is that I have done some quick banking at the CIBC within this plaza in the past. I neither noticed this Winners, nor the SportChek next door. This store is one of the better ones. For those in Whitby, be proud of it for a few reasons. First, I am a huge fan of Kipling handbags. This store goes one step beyond my usual level of happiness at Winners by offering a pink Kipling backpack. It is a rare find. The second point sealed my love for this store. It offers USB type C cables, which is incredible. It is a first for me! You typically get micro USB and lightning cables in ample supply. Yes, I have to be so different with a phone that only uses USB type C. You get a decent variety of two different brands. Both USB type C cables are six feet in length and go for $7.99. Perfect! I love the selection of items, from limited edition Simpson Tic Tacs in both donut and bubble gum flavours, to Popcornopolis popcorn. I don't see any of these fine products at my local Winners. The selection of size 11 women's shoes in decent. I nearly bought a pair of Keds sneakers, but decided that I didn't love them desperately enough to purchase them. The cashier was super sweet. She was polite and cheerful. I happily paid for my purchase and walked out. There is plenty of parking. When I am in this area again, I will certainly drop by. (233)

I wanted to head back to Hart in Oshawa. We were there last year and I got a neck fan for $20 that I use all the time. Sadly, this store has closed permanently. I did a search for liquidation places and found McGee's Liquidation. I asked my friend if she'd be game going here. She said yes. I drove over to this store on a Saturday afternoon. It's in a plaza with three other businesses. I had no problem finding it. I found a bendy guy blowing in the wind in front of the store. I backed my car into an available parking spot and waited for my friend. When she found a parking spot and was parked, we walked into the store. The door was propped up. This store had a lot of cool stuff. I saw a Taylor Swift tote bag going for $5. There were a set of two winking emoji pillows. There was even a Squishmallows plushie. Everything looked new. Some things looked new, but were out of their packaging. There was a microwave turntable. Many storage containers didn't have packaging around them. Yet, they were in good condition. I love penguins. I got a penguin-shaped bento box. I thought that it would be great to put snacks in it. I then found its matching penguin insulated lunch bag. I had to get it! I also ended up getting a glow-in-the-dark yo-yo. It was white. I've never owned a white one before. I grew up playing with a blue yo-yo. My friend paid for her items first with cash. The woman behind the counter was nice. She said that my friend could enter a draw for a pickleball set worth $150. Cool! I got to enter the same draw. I basically wrote my name and phone number on the ticket. I then got a stub with my ticket number. I took a photo of it because I'm bound to lose it somewhere. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. We thanked the woman who seemed to enjoy chatting with us. We left and headed to the downtown area to continue shopping. I do like my penguin bento box. It's the perfect size for candy, pepperoni slices, cheese cubes, and more. Its matching penguin insulated bag is adorable and keeps my bento box cold. I enjoyed shopping here. I'd return for more when I'm in Oshawa. (268)
