Our Travelers agent suggested we postpone the purchase! After looking for over a year and living in a fifth wheel trailer, there was absolutely no way! I put out some online feelers and got a call from Heather at State Farm. They not only insured us but did so at a rate significantly less than the competition, had they even been willing to insure us. I eventually migrated my cars and umbrella policy to this company, also. Fast forward to 2026 and someone maliciously broke the windshield in my exotic car while in the Costco parking lot. There were only two companies who were willing to take on the job and Safelite was so ridiculously low I knew they had no clue. I contacted Heather with a quote from Novus and she filed a claim on my behalf. Novus contacted me and let me know they were in negotiations with the insurance company. A week later I received a call from Novus that they were at an impasse over the targets to calibrate the windshield. I immediately emailed Heather and within 15 minutes I got a return email telling me it was approved! I called Novus and told them to check in a couple of hours to make sure they could see it. A few hours later I received a call from Novus telling me that they had received a call for State Farm and all was a go. Katie at Novus told me this "never" happens and was very appreciative of whatever I did, which was basically nothing! This agency has more than earned my business and I have referred friends and neighbors to them for fire insurance and they, too, have been very happy. Should you have insurance needs, give them a call!

The renewal is for 4/27/24 and I have been reaching out to cancel since March. He does not return calls is waiting for the renewal to go thru so he gets paid. Corporate said their hands are tied since he has to do the cancellation. I have Allstate for my Home and Auto but My agent is in Eugene because in the last 32 years I have owned my home, Grants Pass has not provided decent customer service so I had to switch to an office that actually works for their clients. As a Real Estate person, Part of my job is assisting my buyers to get home owner's insurance for their new home. I will be removing Ken from my preferred vendor email I send to all my potential buyer's. I don't want then to endure the treatment I have had to deal with. Every time, they've responded with patience, clarity, and a level of friendliness that makes me suspicious they might actually enjoy helping people. In insurance. For the past few years, I've worked with Wendy Schwartz, who I can only assume has achieved some sort of insurance enlightenment after decades in the field. Not only does she know everything, she also casually finds ways to save you money like it's a fun side quest. Most recently, she suggested a tiny adjustment to my policy that barely changed my coverage--but somehow reduced my premium by 20%. Twenty. Percent. At first, I assumed this was a test. Or a trap. I briefly considered that I had entered some kind of hidden-camera show where they see how people react to unexpected financial relief. I checked my policy. I checked it again. I may have stared out the window for a while, just processing. But no--it was real. Just good advice from someone who actually knows what they're doing and isn't trying to squeeze every last dollar out of you. And then there's Greg Norby, who--along with Wendy--helps create an environment where you feel less like a policy number and more like an actual human being. It's unsettling at first, but you get used to it. Look, no one likes paying for insurance. If someone says they do, they're either lying, confused, or have reached a level of inner peace I can only aspire to. But working with this team? It's about as close as you're going to get. I've been a customer for years now, and at this point, leaving would feel like breaking up with someone who actually texts back, gives good advice, and saves you money. So yes--thanks to Insurance Services of Southern Oregon, I now see life in color. It's still life... but now it's slightly more affordable, significantly less confusing, and--against all odds--occasionally enjoyable.

Since the Private Equity Firm, AllCare Health took over my doctors office, there has been a…read morelife-threatening delay in care. My doctor is still great, but now you have to wait two days for a return call. The back room is non-functional -- information from my specialist did not get communicated to my doctor, and so I did not get the care I needed. You almost need to get a lawyer to have your referral to a specialist, or a referral to get imaging completed and put through. They are killing people. And since it is a private equity firm, it is just to increase their return on investment.
