Small dining room but very beautiful and nicely decorated. Feels like a small Tuscan restaurant. We were there for open and were the first seated. In the course of our time only two other tables were occupied in the dining room. The food was good, nothing to really blow your mind. Pasta wasn't home made and how they price it, it should be. The service was VERY slow. I'm not sure if our waitress was also cooking maybe ? I got a martini and my fiancé got a beer. It took ten minutes to get to us. The food took even longer. We sat for a long time before our waitress noticed and brought us our boxes and check. I would say go if you have a long time to spare, but if you're paying a babysitter by the hour definitely budget for a longer time out. This isn't something ide normally write about especially if they were busy but it was a Thursday night, only two other tables so it wasn't busy. My lobster seafood ravioli was good but didn't come with a good portion. It had 4 ravioli, two shrimp and two scallop. Not a ton for the high price tag of $36. One of our favorite places for local Italian food. Italian menu with Harry's special dishes. Venue was recently renovated and moved next door back to original venue When a, 5 pm opening. All tables in dining room where reserved, sat in bar area and loved the service. Small, not your restaurant chain style dining. Food is cooked to order, expect to wait for your dinner. Terrible food. Waitress was really nice but the rest was gross. I had shrimp exquisite (pasta dish) that was supposed to have prosciutto and instead had a cooked piece of salami smothered in cheese on the plate. That is not prosciutto and much cheaper. My husband had pasta with their red sauce and it was also terrible. My son did not like the meatballs either. If you have ever eaten and enjoyed Italian food, this is not the place for you. I hate to write negative comments about a business but when you pay good money for what appears to be a nice restaurant, it hurts to walk out being disappointed by the food. esthetics - big time outdated and stained and ripped ceiling tiles above the bar area, gross Atmosphere - had TVs on gameshows, no sound, no music playing for the diners at all, however the kitchen staff had 80's rock blasting if you like that but I'm not sure how that best represents what is supposed to be an Italian setting. Minestrone soup was terrible - a can of Campbell's would've contained more. It was 95% broth (def not homemade) and 5% of what I'm sure was frozen mixed vegetables. Ik all minestrone soup doesn't have meat, but at least there's hearty beans to fill you up - not here! The presentation of all the meals at my table was non-existent..... just a white plate and boom your main course - no garnishes, no frills, nothing. Some of the food was good, but most not, but here's my biggest pet peeve - the pasta presentation First of all, serving dry pasta with a blob of sauce on the top middle is unacceptable! You can Google pretty much any reputable chefs opinion on that, they all say MIX THE SAUCE IN! Not only does it prevent the pasta from sticking together, but it also adds flavor to it! However, to me, what is worse, is serving the unmixed pasta & sauce on a flat plate!?!?! Do you want your customers to spill and stain their clothes??? And why wouldn't you complete your task? Would you serve a piece of cake with a blob of frosting for the customer to spread?? Definitely wouldn't recommend this place unless they made some major changes. read more

I don't know why we never tried this place before, but we have gone twice in the past few weeks. I had the chicken and eggplant parmesan one time and the chicken exquisto the next. My wife had a sirloin. The food is not gourmet, but it's very tasty, generously portioned (lots of take home left) and it's well priced. Service is very good. They don't over charge on wine (sometimes you go to a place and they're charging $50+ for a $10 bottle). Atmosphere is nice and there are 2 fireplaces that are warming to be near. I'm surprised that last Friday was fairly quiet in there as compared to anything else locally, this is a find. I almost never write positive reviews as it's easier to complain. I had the chicken Exquisito and it was amazing! We stared with some squash ravioli and calamari that was crazy good. The staff was super nice and informative. We drove by it many times and figured we would give it a shot. We should of ran when we were walking up to the door since the walls were falling apart outside. We got sat down right away, our meals came with soup (or salad), we had the most unusual SALTY minestrone soup ever, with chicken...yes chicken! I thought minestrone soup is an vegetable soup! Then we proceed to wait for another 45 mins for our meals AFTER we asked how much longer. Both the water were dirty with something floating in it, we sat next to the dirtiest wall (some part of it is pictured), the most unfriendly waitress, and awful decor. Had take-out for the first time at Harry's. Chicken Parmesan with sausage on ziti and garlic bread was a winner. Chicken was moist. Sauce was tasty and sausage had a nice flavor. Garlic bread had melted mozzarella cheese which made it perfect. I will be back for sure to sample other menu options. read more

We were driving thru the area and stopped for quick dinner. Quick was not what we received. We arrived around 7 and left at 8:40. No wait and there were plenty of waitresses running around. Our waitress took our drink order and brought us our drinks and didnt take our order for another 20 minutes. I actually had to flag her down. My husband didnt get a soup or salad option which was part of his meal. We didnt get our dinner till about 8:20 and by that time we had gone thru two baskets of bread. To top it all off, the food was mediocre. The eggplant parm was flatter than a pancake with some weird beer batter on it. No hidden gem here. We've been wanting to try this place again after a few years since it appeared to be renovated and looked busy again. Unfortunately while the decor was beautiful, the food is still poor. We waited over an hour for our meal. While we waited we got bread with the lightest olive oil I've ever tasted; a salad with only 1 tomato and 1 cucumber and a minestrone soup that as my children described perfectly "tasted like spaghetti Os with chicken broth and bagged frozen veggies." When the meals came they were as plain as the presentation and we had to ask for parmigiana cheese to make it palatable. I really hate posting this. But I had a second crappy experience.. so here I go. I've ordered from Harry's twice, both take out. Once about a year and a half ago and the second time was tonight. I figured since we had a gift card we would give them a second try.. my mistake. First time around I ordered some tortellini carbonara thing. It was freezing by the time I got it home.. which ok.. it was takeout.. so I don't expect it to be piping hot.. but freezing? Weird. Also. It had about 6 tortellinis. And just lacked any flavor. I ended up recooking it in a pan with garlic powder and salt and added more of my own tortellini. Still crappy. Ok so tonight! I ordered two meals to go (I live right up the street.. and had a gift card so I figured why not). I got chicken Marsala.. cost me almost 20$.. when I got home with my meals (again I live right up the street & made sure to place them in a steady area in my car) the plastic bag that the meals were sitting in was SOAKED. Took out the meals and sides of linguini to find my chicken Marsala mealconpletwlynkeaking everywhere.. took it out and it dropped all over my clothes.. I was so mad. Then I look and my linguini is covered inted sauce. I ordered chicken MARSALA. Plain linguini would have been perfect, as I would have poured my Marsala meal over the linguini. So I ended up adding my chicken and mushrooms to a pan and adding butter flour and Marsala wine since I had NO sauce left.. and made my own spaghetti at home. I'm just really annoyed and won't ever be ordering from Harry's again. The one positive is that when I arrived.. (after waiting about 15-18 mins).. the staff was really friendly and made sure we got bread to bring home with our take out meals. After goofing on making a reservation at another restaurant my friends suggested we try Harry's La Casa Mia. The outside of the restaurant is deceiving (it looks like a house) once we entered you are swept away to Italy. The place was packed and we had to wait for a table so we sat at the bar for a drink. The menu was set up nice (two pages), you had pasta choices, chicken choices, veal/fish choices. Due to how busy it was the food took awhile to arrive (we filled the time with conversation and drinks). When our food finally did arrive it was amazing and the portions are huge (I had two additional meals). You can tell that everything is made from scratch and that it wasn't sitting under a food lamp. If you like martinis I suggest the pomegranate martini the wine selection is also decent. The only down fall was the wait-staff. Our waitress could have been a little more attentive (she was busy playing with another customer's hair). Came here for a private party so I can't judge what it's like when it's open to the public... but I would think when they're solely focused on a small group of people, things should be pretty good. Unfortunately, the food was not too good - a bit greasy and overcooked. The bread was the lone bright spot. And the service, despite only being needed for drinks, was also not great. Where do I start? The over an hour wait for the cook to even start our meal? The 18 year old "manager" in a t-shirt who insisted there was nothing they could do to help us other than "comp a drink" and then still run the check through for the entire amount? Or the fact that he essentially called us liars even though we laid out the timeline of events? When you, a customer, have to wait over an hour for your meal and you see numerous tables come in, get seated, served, eat, and leave it's a bit disheartening. It's even more so when the "manager" (and I use that term in quotes because he couldn't have been more than 18) is sent out to "help" with the situation because the actual manager is "too busy in the back to come out" (his words). It had taken more than an hour for our meal to even begin to be cooked (a fact presented to us by our waitress), yet we were informed there was nothing there could be done to help ease our anger. Let me set the record straight. It's not that there was nothing that could be done, it's that there was nothing that would be done. On Valentine's day the food took over an hour to come out. When I it finally did make an appearance, it was luke-warm. The sauce tasted like air... as in it didn't have a taste or flavor. It was just a bland, ugly, red stain on slimy, undercooked pasta bought from the local Market Basket. This place is REALLY bad. This place is one of my favorite places to go.even though I always listen to the specials and look at the menu I get the same thing every time. Chicken Exquisito with a side of spaghetti with garlic and oil. The salad that comes with the meal is always fresh and crisp and comes with a beet slice, salami and some provolone. Plenty of fresh bread and oil is always on the table. My husband usually gets the Harry's Haddock with a side of penne and the house red sauce which is really good. The prices are fair, the portions enough for leftovers and the service is always attentive. We rarely get desert, but they do have freshly filled cannoli and espresso if you are so inclined. This place has been in my town for a few years and I've never noticed it, shame on me. La Casa Mia looks just like a regular house when you drive by it, but when you go inside it has a nice little setup. The downside is the parking lot, which is really unsafe feeling as they dont have any lights and it's pitch black. Service was good, food was good. I will come back again, but I will make sure its not night time. read more

New Years Eve redo... We went a few years back with horrible service and thought we'd try again and same bad experience. 18 of us, slow night with empty tables. Took 2 1/2 hours to fully serve our dinners. No bread was served as all other tables got there bread from the bread servers, ours came with dinner. Apps came out after 45 minutes, not great service. We ordered the sliced stuffed mushrooms, butternut ravioli and garlic bread. Oily mushrooms, cooled ravioli and beyond cheesy and no garlic bread. Dinners came out looking hot, yet quickly chilled out in the cold room we were placed in. Seafood casserole was barely with seafood in sight. The ziti finally arrived, barely got in a quick heated sauce that turned cold fast. Will not be returning ever unless changes are made. read more

My husband and I went for dinner here. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, it looked extremely clean. We were warmly welcomed in and seated right away. For a Thursday night, it was decently busy. We shared a large antipasto salad which was excellent and very fresh. My husband had chicken parm which he seemed to enjoy. I got meatballs and pasta. I have to say the pasta was cooked the correct way. Sauce was very good. You can tell it's an authentic Italian restaurant with homemade recipes. I also was happy the menu was not big with many selections. That means their food is very fresh and done right. This place is a gem tucked on the side of route 138 in Raynham. Low Key Italian restaurant that has great home-cooked food. Very well decorated which provides a decent ambiance. I ordered the baked scrod and the waitress suggested a special that came with a house sauce on it, i thought that would run it but decided to give it a try. It added some great flavor to the dish! Prices are reasonable but i will caution my friend had a dessert (some sort of square that was supposed to be like cheesecake) it turned out to be lemony and definitely wasn't home made. I don't order dessert much when I go out so it's not a deal breaker for me but i'd use caution if that's your thing. read more

Went here with my boyfriend, from the first interaction with host this experience was extremely disappointing. Host was chatting and made no effort to cut off her personal conversations and tend to not only us, but the party of 5 and another party of two waiting to check in. She then proceeded to seat the 5 top that walked in after us before us and continued to tell us our table would be ready in just a couple minutes for 25 minutes. Before we were sat she forgot who we were, she said she "thought we were new" and that we were waiting so long because she was "letting the servers catch up". After finally getting to the most wobbly table in the restaurant, the host then proceed to triple seat our waitress who she claimed to be giving time to catch up. After sitting for about 10 minutes the busser came and filled up our water glasses, which were filthy to the touch. We ended up waiting another 10 minutes for clean glasses and water. And another 20 for bread, even after asking. We placed our drink and dinner order at the same time. Our waitress and the busser did they're best and and played no part in our experience but the food was pathetic. I got a $21 pasta dish that came with 8 tortellinis, 2 pieces of prosciutto, 2 mushrooms, 2 tomato halves, and a random green bean, it arrived to the table at room temperature...over an hour after we ordered. My boyfriend got a chicken dish that was supposed to have a Marsala sauce. The chicken tasted like the dirty fryer it was fried in and the "Marsala sauce" was just oil. Each bite was dripping. The Travaglione family should be ashamed to take ownership of this establishment, where can I begin. The servers need training, the busboy needed to take a hygiene course. My salad and soup took almost 30 minutes to come out, upon arrival the busboy leaned over and I received a whiff of a pungent smell which needs to addressed. Our server didn't know the menu, the food took almost an hour to arrive. The sauce was like my 2 year old daughter blended Marsala wine and tomato sauce together. Also no seasoning in the food this plate is charging top dollar and employing Tauntons finest from the multi family projects, maybe the chef should take tastes of his recipes before plating a disaster. For years, Harry's La Casa Mia had been my favorite Italian restaurant. Not anymore! The restaurant was doing well for a Wednesday evening. We both ordered Sangrias which took much too long to arrive, as did the salad and soup (which arrived only about 5 minutes before the meals). Since the main entrees took a much too long time to serve, there should have been plenty of time to serve the simple drinks and salad/soup beforehand. As usual, the food was very good. However, that did not overcome the long delays in the delivery of the the food (not including the bread, which was served by a separate server). I thought that the minimally attentive waitress had been assigned too many tables until she brought the bill. I then waited for her to collect my payment, but she did not because she was too busy chatting with the bar customers. (During the ensuing wait, I commented to my wife that their prices have increased a lot.) I then brought my bill to the bar register myself. Only then did the bar server call the waitress over to ring up my tab. I had not planned to post this online review. I had first wanted to contact Harry's management. However, I could not locate an email contact method on their one-page website (I prefer putting my thoughts into an email rather than making a hurried, emotional phone call).
