Overpriced, undercooked, and apparently customer service is optional. If you expect your food to be cooked, apparently you're the problem. I ordered the Yellow Fin Tuna, the rice was not cooked, and the sweet potatoes were hard and undercooked (also not very tasty). After two bites, I asked for an alternative dish, but instead of simply offering one, management interrogated me about whether the fish was bad too. I didn't want tuna à la carte . The taste of combo wasn't good either. So I didn't want the sides after tasting the first bites and I didn't order a side of tuna. In a follow up email the owner said he completely approved of how his team handled the situation as they are not a wasteful restaurant, so I was expected to keep the protein despite the unacceptable sides. Apparently, the new 2026 philosophy is: you get what you get, pay the fine-dining price, and don't complain. It's hard out here for restaurant businesses. As if it's not hard for customers that choose to dine there and pay very high prices to receive unacceptable service, confrontational management and subpar food. At these prices, I expect properly prepared food and basic customer service--not an interrogation, a lecture about food waste, and an assumption that the customer is wrong. Bottom line, they don't value the customer's dining experience, they have low quality standards, they can't cook rice and potatoes, and they lead their team to be condescending and rude. Not a formula for success. Just a matter of time . read more

So apparently I've been here twice! I went back recently completely forgetting that I had already tried this place before, and unfortunately, my impression of the food hasn't changed. Let me start with the positives because this is a SUPER nice establishment. There's ample parking, and I absolutely love the open-plan design. There's a patio, a bar right in the middle of the restaurant, and an open kitchen. The whole place is very, very well designed. The staff is welcoming, and overall, it's a really nice environment. But unfortunately, that's where it stops for me. THE FOOD. Please, get a better chef because I don't understand how a place this nice can serve food this bland! We went for brunch a couple of weeks ago, and what a disappointment. Nothing really stood out or made me want to come back for another meal. The drinks were okay, but nothing memorable either. Then came the tres leches for dessert. I LOVE a good tres leches, so I was looking forward to it, but this tasted more like a regular sponge cake. I'm not sure what three milks were invited to this party, but evaporated and condensed milk certainly didn't seem to make the guest list! It honestly tasted like the cake had been soaked in skim milk and that was about it. Where was all that rich, creamy tres leches goodness? I'll post a video because you really have to see this. All in all, beautiful establishment, welcoming staff, ample parking, and a really well-designed space. But at the end of the day, I'm coming to a restaurant for the food. After giving it two tries, I think I'll abstain until the food improves. read more

This is a tough review for me. Been eating and drinking and Yelping forever. I loved the vibe at the bar. I loved the music. I loved that almost all the patrons (and staff) were 20-30something. I wondered how they're affording the price points and the likelihood Giana can be sustained in the area. The drinks were good--but I'm not in Boston or NYC and I don't wanna be either. All our apps were delicious with one small issue--and I feel as a Calabrian descendant , I can say that the pizza crust was flat--needed salt and lacked a yeasty rise and chewy bite. The toppings on the Mozambique rib eye were amazeballs, but the crust didn't match up. That's my suggestion to the kitchen. The calamari was deliciously spicy in the way your face tingles but you can't stop eating. The hummus platter was fresh and offered generous bread to enjoy it. The rosemary chicken wings were outstanding and perfectly seasoned. I was one $17 cocktail in before noticing they offered espresso martini flights (mentioned nowhere on the menu that I could see. You might want to lead with THIS! I'm giving 4 stars for food and service, but 3 stars for pretentiousness of pricing! I'll drink elsewhere and enjoy a more cost effective buzz! read more

The food at Giana's was absolutely incredible. For appetizers we got Mozambique calamari (a favorite), burrata, and grilled zucchini salad (yummy, but the zucchini could have been cooked more). For dinner I got steak tips cooked medium. They were to die for! Dessert was okay. We split a turtle cheesecake and a chocolate layer cake. Now for the annoying stuff.... I booked through open table for a table of 10. Yes, I know it is a big table. I confirmed the reservation the day before. The day of, the restaurant called me 3 times to confirm my reservation. Some of our party arrived early, and they would not seat them. In fact, the called me again and said if the party wasn't there by 6:15, they would cancel the table. Mind you, 6 of us arrived before our 6pm reservation and the other 4 arrived at 6:02. I was very put off by that. Then, after we cashed out and we're finishing the last of our drinks, our waitress came over to us apologizing that she forgot to charge us for a few items, so we had to run our cards again. Not that we were trying to get away with free drinks, but it was in poor taste. We asked to sit outside for an after dinner drink since we were rushed to cash out in the dining room. Our sake waitress took care of us and immediately cashed us out after one round. At this point, it was only 9pm and the restaurant was supposed to be open until midnight. Then, we asked another waitress if she wouldn't mind taking our picture. Her response was, "sure, it's not like Im taking care of any large tables in the dining room or anything." She had pink hair. We were all so put off by her. Now, since we arrived early, we did have an opportunity to sit at the bar for a drink, and the male bartender was fabulous. He recommended their house wine and was kind and patient. The hostess. Rude. Our waitress. Sweet but passive aggressively pushy. The other waitress. Rude. Food. Amazing. I will be back for the food and will just sit at the bar. Hopefully they don't lose too many customers because of their rude employees. read more

Served me cold food... I sent it back, they heated it up in the microwave and tried to reserve it to me. Their excuse was the kitchen is closed! I sent back the food and an untouched drink and they still charged me. I called and complained and was told Wendy's is open till 1 pm read more

I was looking for a real nice upscale place for my girlfriend's 40th bday. Really glad we found this place. First off, the inside is really nice. The open kitchen is really cool. The lights and the big screens are a nice touch. It was a good vibe. All the workers in there were polite and seemed like they were always on point. Now to the food. We started off with the calamari and the truffle parm bread. Both were good. The calamari had a little kick. And the truffle parm bread was truffling. Crispy and cheesy. For the main dish I had the steak tips with mash potatos and creamed spinach. My girl had the scallops and risotto. Both were slamming. The steak tips came with a chimichurri sauce that I need bottled up and sent to me asap. The scallops were a little salty but were cooked perfectly. The risotto was really good but very rich. For drinks I had mocktail and my girl had a tres leches martini which was pretty much her dessert. She loved it. All in all I recommend this place to anyone who likes good food. Good vibes and good service. Good spot to impress a significant other. I think they have function rooms and an outdoor deck as well. Check them out. read more

I would only recommend this place if you come before 8pm and not on a Sunday. The service was terrible we had to ask for a waitress and for water. We were declined last call an hour before they closed because they were "out of martini glasses" . while only having 2 drinks each for a group of 4. Meanwhile the male Bartender proceeded to stuff his face and the female Bartender's were making drinks. read more

The vibe in this place is really cool and they have a ton of options for food! The service was very quick and attentive when each of us were running low on water. The fried calamari and scallops were really good but I'd like to come back to try more of the apps. We got the chicken piccata and scampi, both had the proteins cooked well but the sauces weren't up to par. The piccata was a little on the heavy side and the scampi sauce was too light or "soupy". I'd definitely come back and try other options for next time though! read more

We have been by this place for a while and never could get a tike to stop. We finally got to try it and it didn't disappoint. Atmosphere is really cool. It is a bit dark, but they do have little table lamps they bring over. The walls are a big LED screen that had fish swimming which was really cool to watch. Our server was great, I always ask for no ice in my water. I tell them I am like a camel and bring more soon. She actually brought me 2 glasses to start and kept filling them up! I ordered a spicy Tuna roll as an app and my wife ordered the salmon corn fritters. The tuna roll was great, and presentation was cool. For my dinner I ordered the bone in Ribeye. It was amazing! My wife ordered the chicken parm, but with Alfredo instead of red sauce. Amazing! We will be back. My ONLY regret is I didn't have room for dessert! read more

Giana is a trendy restaurant located in South Easton. Seems to be a great addition. The restaurant has a huge bar and quite lively, but prepared to yell as it's pretty loud. Love love love. The ambiance of this restaurant is casual yet refined. The actual decor is gorgeous. Massive tvs NOT FOR SPORTS but for cool videos of Chinese fighting fish. The food was incredible. The drinks were outstanding. The bar is massive and beautiful. I would say it's a touch pricey but for what you get it's absolutely worth it. The staff at the bar were fantastic very friendly and attentive. As far as the seated experience I can't say but I will absolutely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu read more

This was my first time going to this establishment. I made a reservation on open table and was seated upon my arrival. This establishment had nice decor but was a bit dark. The staff were friendly and made recommendation when asked. The drinks were delicious; the sugar cookie martini really tasted like sugar cookie and is great if you prefer sweeter drinks. The honey hot pizza was delicious but was not hot at all. The king crab fritters lacked flavor and needed the sauce to help it out. The scallop wrapped in bacon were cooked perfectly. The short rib reduction was so salty I couldn't even eat it my meal. I told the waitress and she said "oh no" and that was the end of that. The truffle pasta was creamy, however, it requires a lot of pepper to assist with flavor. Overall, I would return for drinks and apps. read more

Giana is a beautiful, fun restaurant that is great for a date night, fun time with friends, business/work lunch or dinner, or even just taking yourself out for a treat. The decor and design are so lovely -- like a high-end restaurant in Boston, NYC, or South Beach, and the service is warm and attentive. The food and cocktails are first-rate. Everything we ordered was delicious. I wish Giana was closer to where I live. read more

Went there last night took waitress a little bit to come to our table after we were seated. Noticed a gentleman standing by bar and was kind of in the way of the workers trying to get by. he didn't move and was on his phone by two others sitting at bar. Thought was very ignorant not to move. Not one worker said anything we discovered it was the owner. We had martinis and they were good and the meals we had were good. read more

Was excited to try a new option in Easton. Giana's didn't disappoint. I went in for lunch on a weekday and we were seated right away. There are some giant TVs in with repeating videos of fish swimming which I thought was fun for a more high end restaurant. Going for lunch is a good move if you dont want to pay premium prices. There was a large selection of different things to choose from. I had the vodka sauce, pesto, chicken sandwich with truffle fries. I think it cost like $17. It was delicious and the fries were full of flavor. They had an extensive pizza menu as well. Overall I will most likely return for a special occasion lunch due to prices, but not really worth going regularly or for dinner. read more

We had dinner at Giana for the 1st time on August 3rd. It was busy on a Saturday night, the hostess and wait staff were friendly and helpful. We came here for lunch and was seated on the patio. We got Turkey Avocado Sandwich,Truffalo Chicken Sandwich, Short Rib Cubano and Blueberry Brown Sugar Cake. The Truffalo Chicken Sandwich was delicious. You can taste the quality in the Chicken. It had a nice crispy outside & tender inside. The cheese was a perfect compliment to the toasted sour dough bread .Turkey Avocado Sandwich was an upgrade to the typical sandwich. It was pretty good .Short Rib Cubano was just a layering of delicious meats & cheese.Blueberry Brown Sugar Cake was a great end to a meal. It was sweet, tasty with a cloud like texture . The service was good but it's pricey. The quality is fair for the price. You get a gourmet meal at decent price range. read more

If I could give 3.5 I would. Food was decent, some dishes were a hit and some flopped. It's very vibrant and loud, great place for friends gathering. It was packed on Friday night so reservation is strongly encouraged. Drinks were great and our server was awesome. The hostesses can use some more training as they weren't friendly. Tip: valet parking is free, just have to give gratuity. Free parking on the lot next to it. Just don't park at Stoneforged Restaurant lot across. read more

I'm giving this a very generous three stars because the food is not horrible but everything is horrible in my book. This is personally the last place I would ever go to eat or simply even want to be in. It is LOUD AF in here thanks to concrete floors and walls. Tables and everything jammed together with mindless techno-dance "music" blasting. Dishes clanging and banging nonstop and reverberation of chairs screeching along the concrete floors and all sounds echoing throughout in this huge one-room "open concept" bar/restaurant nightmare. Lots of young people here so I guess they like this. To be here is utter torture and impossible to relax and talk or anything. The furniture is physically uncomfortable AF and it is beyond me how anyone would actually enjoy this place or moreover spend money to be here. In all fairness, this place "tries" to be cool, and the service people are nice and kudos to anyone who could work in a zoo like this and appear happy. The food is expensive AF and portions are teenie and drinks are expensive AF too. My Wild Boar Pasta was 36 bucks and had a few shreds of meat in a pasta with cheese and it was just meh, not bad but just meh. And the "presentation" was just sad (see PIC). The scallop app was five scallops for 21 bucks. We dined outside in the freezing cold because it was almost two-hour wait to get a table inside this hellhole. Not my thing but obviously people must like this place because it is jam packed. It seems to be run pretty well, and it gives an attempt at making decent food, so I give them credit for trying. But no thank you for me. I think I'd much rather stay home and chill. read more

We had a great anniversary dinner at Giana! We made a reservation, and they were ready to seat us when we arrived . The good - The place is beautifully decorated and set up - we sat in the Gold Room (which is a smaller room off the main dining area). Food was excellent - we had the loaded hummus appetizer, a kale salad bowl, and a chicken parm - all delicious. Great cocktail selection - and the bar is obviously doing well as it was extremely busy . The not as good- it's VERY loud inside. It's also a bit dark ( we like this but not everyone does - they did offer a small table lamp if you'd like one) and the runners seem a bit inexperienced, like they don't know the table layout . Runner brought our food to another table before us , then came to us with someone else's dessert a few minutes later . Waitress was personable and polite. Overall- a very nice and fairly priced evening out , we'll be back! read more

Had a reservation tonight-to celebrate my husband's birthday. Was asked when I called to make the reservation if it was a special occasion~ said yes and she asked me to choose a dessert (chose bread pudding) and they'd put a sparkler in it and sing HB. Typically I wouldn't do this but our two young granddaughters were coming also so I thought they'd enjoy it. The dessert for Happy Birthday never showed up. The restaurant is incredibly loud and makes it impossible to have a conversation. The waitress was pleasant- but the food was just not good. Worst chicken piccata I've ever had- the fattest piece of chicken that was chewy and flavorless. The buffalo chicken tots tasted like frozen food. The chicken parm meatballs were just bad. The Greek salad was swimming in dressing which made it difficult and unenjoyable to eat. Honestly the best thing served was the kids meal cheese pizza. Unfortunately for several reasons, I can't recommend this place. read more

The food was just ok. The sushi was not fresh whatsoever, the steak tips were hard (but they're not expensive so I wasn't expecting much) and the whole chicken breast was flavorless. They do a good job at presentation so 2/5. The service - our server wasn't the nicest. She seemed annoyed the minute I said my fiancé didn't like his drink, a vodka lemonade. She immediately said she still has to charge us for it. My fiancé was treating me so she still got tipped 20% but if it were me paying she would've gotten 20% - the cost of the drink, just for the aggressive manner in which she stated she still had to charge us. It's as if she was expecting a fight. She's skinny, blonde, looks 38-44 years old and has straight, thin hair and big teeth. I don't remember her name. And a slightly deep voice. Ambiance - it's so dark and squished in there. Overall 2/5 or 4/10. Won't be returning. read more

Very nice place, delicious food, always busy but service is great! My new favorite restaurant!

Our server was very friendly and offered good suggestions for the menu. I ordered the seafood scampi with pasta and no avocado on top, and it was delicious. Went there last night 4/12/2025 for dinner with old friends. We had a reservation and the place was packed and had an interesting vibe but was so incredibly noisy we could barely hear each other and it was very dark almost too dark to read the menus, additionally the chairs were very uncomfortable. We ordered drinks and then placed our orders for dinner we got the steak tips and the short ribs where we were informed we only had 90 minutes to eat and leave, I have never in my 56 years been told this anywhere I have ever gone. The food was very good and tasty the portions were not huge but very good sized for most. The waiter was disinterested and inattentive. My son was taking his wife in there for her birthday. he happened to bring his friend who is African-American with him and the people at Gianna said that they smelled like marijuana which wasn't true, but they went back to the car. I put hand sanitizer on their hands sprayed cologne. And went back in. I love the ambiance at Giana's - the inside feels like you're in a hip Boston restaurant. The food in the two times I have been has been absolutely delicious - especially the tuna cannoli and the espresso martini flight. Service both times has been slow - the second time was lunch and we were one of maybe three tables and luckily were catching up and not in a rush to leave. The irony is when it's busy the waitstaff will tell you there's a 90 minute limit. Definitely a great place for a date, girls lunch / dinner, or a solo cocktail at the bar.
