Harry is always ready to help and even give free ( useful) advice. I will retune again next time I need something.

We live over an hour away from Columbus and Harry and his assistant both went above and beyond to help us with our technical issue. These are solution oriented folks that don't give up until the problem is solved. Fun, quirky atmosphere in the shop and great small talk - all while being knowledgable about tech. They even had a place for me to rest on a comfy leather couch and watch "Benchwarmers" on their flat screen while I waited. They really got us out of a bind and this is why I will always patronize an authentic "mom and pop" that loves what they do and helping others, over some corporate, big box tech-support cattle mill. Computer hacked, took to Harry to have it cleaned. Requested be sure I have all my word documents and other stuff. Bad job, cleaned everything out. Lost all my word documents and e-mail. Charged a bunch and was slow. Not safe. Would not respond to refund request. Had to have another guy fix his mistakes. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! Last year on August 4, 2017, I bought a used HP laptop from Harry's Computers. Harry said that it was worth $1000.00 but he would only charge me $400.00. I paid the $400.00 and brought it back two days later because the screen did not work. I turned the computer on twice and both times the computer screen turned off just a few minutes after turning it on. So, Harry the owner said he would fix the issue. Due to Hurricane Harvey I couldn't go back after to pick up the computer. A couple of months later, I went back to pick up my computer after not receiving a call from Harry after two months. So I pick up the laptop after testing it with Harry there at the shop to make sure it works, everything looked good. Then I bring it home and low and behold the computer is still having the same issue. So I take the computer back the next day and Harry says that he will take a look at it. A few weeks go by and I still hear no word from Harry. So, I ask my brother to go by and see what's going on with the computer. My brother goes and gets a different diagnosis from Harry. According to my brother, Harry says to him that it is not the computer screen that is the problem, it is the cable attached to the screen and so it needs to be replaced. Then my brother says ok, but that it seems as if the computer is not being fixed properly. He first thinks that it's the screen then he thinks that it is something else. Then on around the end of March my brother goes back to get an update. Harry is not there. My brother goes back again a few days later and Harry says that my sister dropped the computer. He tells me that he knows that she dropped it because he can tell that someone has been turning on the laptop. You can turn on the laptop a million times but the computer still will not work for the user if the screen doesn't work. That doesn't prove anything. Harry says that he will need me to pay between $70 and $100 to replace the screen. My brother tells him that he will come back to let him know what I think about it. I call him to let him know that I did not drop the computer. Why would you accuse me of that? That is not right! I told him that I never used the computer once, all this time I have not once have been able to use the computer because it doesn't work. Now, Harry's telling me that it is my fault the computer doesn't work when it never worked since day one that I purchased it. I tell him that I will not give him one more dime. And I ask him politely to please fix my computer or give me my money back. Now, its May 17, 2018, and I call Harry. Harry says, "come on by, the computer is fixed." So, I ask my brother to go by and pick the computer up. My brother goes and picks up the computer, Harry doesn't even sit with him to show him that the computer works like most computer shops would do. I get the computer today around 3:00 pm and the computer is missing the power chord. Harry told my brother that he never received a power chord. Anyway, we use my brothers HP laptop power chord and we find out that the laptop does not work. The screen doesn't display anything. I then call Harry shortly after and Harry tells me a completely different story from what he told me earlier today. Tells the me the computer doesn't work because, according to him, I dropped it. Now, I find it to be very odd that he would tell me two different stories and deny that he ever told me that the computer was fixed. I asked him then why would I tell my brother to go by and pick up the computer. It makes no sense. He completely lied to me so my brother could go and pick the computer up. I found my experience with Harry to be very unpleasant. I am extremely upset and really disgusted by his unethical behavior. This is not the way to treat people! Then, shortly after my phone call with him he texts me to tell me that he has the power chord. I have been trying to resolve this issue for 9 months, 9 months! And absolutely nothing. This is completely outrageous! Who does business like this in Columbus? No one here or anywhere else. Frankly, I don't know how this business is still open, treating customers like garbage and blaming them for something that they didn't do is terrible while making them waste hard earned money on equipment that doesn't work, me and my family who happen to be one of the oldest families here in Columbus will never bring our business to Harry ever again.
