I'm sure there are enough calories in the menu to be considered 'bad' food but the wraps packed full of fresh salad (lettuce, tomato, beetroot, red onion) make me feel I'm choosing the lesser of many evils in the area.
As the name suggests, schnitzels are their bread and butter but there are other options eg ham or chicken wraps and a couple of burgers. I had a grilled chicken wrap last time with chilli mayo which was delicious and had less of their signature flavour (that seems to permeate through everything). It just tasted like a fresh salad and chicken wrap you could whip up at home. That sounds like a bad thing but it's just what I wanted. The chips are pretty tasty too and the containers are filled well.
My first time actually going into the store took a while to get food as they were somewhat busy for maybe 3 staff on hand but the girl that served me (didn't catch her name) was brilliant. Taking orders, stepping in to cook or turn out cooked food and wrapping as well, all whilst keeping her cool. Reassuring waiting customers and apologising for the delay. This was all after telling me the chicken for my chicken wrap was sold out (I was offered grilled instead) and the pesto mayo sauce was a typo on the menu and no longer offered. She probably felt bad or embarrassed but I'm easy pleased and I think she was doing a top job.
Milkshakes are available which I like for a sweet treat but have yet to try one. Maybe next time. read more
