I went in around lunchtime on a Saturday and I was in and out of there in under two minutes. Little did I know that all I needed to do was to switch the sim card from my old phone to the new one. I'm not the most tech-savvy person around so I didn't think it was going to be this easy, but it was. The employee that assisted me was extremely friendly and took care of everything for me very easily. They didn't charge me anything and sent me on my way with my new phone ready to go. Next time I ever need to go to a Verizon store for anything, this location will be my first option.

Every interaction feels like a stressful nightmare because nothing is ever handled correctly the first time. I recently discovered I had been paying for FOUR inactive lines with no devices attached for nearly three years. Then when I called to disconnect those lines, Verizon somehow disconnected MY actual phone number instead while still trying to keep hotspot charges on my account. The constant hidden fees, billing mistakes, activation charges, and "upgrade fees" on supposedly "free" phones are beyond ridiculous. Why is a customer of nearly three decades still being charged activation and upgrade fees? Meanwhile, my daughter switched to T-Mobile, paid zero activation fees, zero upgrade fees, kept her phone, and her bill was exactly what she was promised. Imagine that... honesty and competent customer service. Verizon clearly no longer values loyalty, because long-term customers are treated like walking wallets instead of valued customers. Second, why don't they have a separate person who just handles quick equipment exchanges? There are 14 people ahead of me. There is not enough seating so I'm sitting on the floor. People who are here to buy a phone will take a long time with the representatives. Plus the last time I came here and waited to exchange my equipment because the ones they gave me were not working, I waited at least an hour to do a five minute exchange and received no instructions. Got the equipment home and it had the same problem. I called customer support who couldn't help me, so they sent out a technician who told me that I never needed to exchange my equipment. The guy at the store never activated the new router. I made an appointment today. Not that it's going to speed things up. Unfortunately no other internet companies provide service to my house that is right in the heart of Tampa. Whatever!

Took my computer for a screen replacement that was supposed to be a few days. Though he received two faulty screens, he did a terrible job notifying me or keeping me updated for weeks. He did give me a loaner for free when the days became weeks and even months. The shop is closed at all sorts of odd times when they are supposed to be open. He said he had medical issues which I empathize with (have my own right now too), but he was unreachable by phone or in person for days. When I finally took my repaired laptop home (literally months later), several keys didn't work. I immediately called him to let him know. I figured maybe something wasn't reconnected correctly or had been bumped and was loose. He was offended that I accused him of damaging the keyboard, insisted that he hadn't taken the keyboard apart, and "refused to be responsible." I never accused him of any of those things. He offered to give me a break on labor, but said he would take a look at it to see what might be wrong and to bring it in the next day after noon. I showed up around 1pm the next day when the shop was supposed to be open and, unsurprisingly, he was not there and the door was locked. That was weeks ago and he never contacted me back. I then found a YouTube video addressing the issue, took the keyboard apart myself, disconnected the ribbon and reconnected it and, lo and behold, all the keys worked fine. The connection really was just loose. I love supporting local businesses. Just can't go back to this one again.
