They give them many of those opportunities, too. At one point, one of them was on the phone and cheering about getting something like a job. I wasn't sure. The other guide joined her and started cheering. They also encourage the kids to use the bathroom outdoors since that's what they would do in nature. I didn't know that and had nothing, such as tissue, to give to the kids. I don't recommend them.

Reese was a great tour guide that was super knowledgeable of the area (animal, plants, and the seasons). This was a super easy hike for those who doesn't hike often or has kids with them and wanted try something else than skiing or snowboarding. When we got to the top, Reese gave us all the opportunity to take photos and he was also our own personal photographer. Definitely coming back to take one of the self tour/hike that this location also offers.

I first signed up just myself and my 8 year old for yesterday, then looked to see if my 4 year old could go, which they advertise as young as 2 year olds can go. What!? So I talked to my ( slightly timid) 4 year old about it and said yes, so we went and I was so impressed with how much fun she had. She laughed the entire time, did the entire course (tandem with me) and she even did the canyon plunge (optional) with little hesitancy and was grinning ear to ear. Very good communication and guidance during the sign up process and good information provided prior to arrival. The river experience was excellent. Our guides (Anna and Kaitlyn) were informative and entertaining during our 45 minute ride to the drop in near Glenwood Canyon. Our family felt very safe in their hands and we had a lot of fun on this trip. Anna was a fantastic guide and boat captain. After the excitement of the rapids we spent about another 1.5 hours floating and sometimes swimming. Highly recommend for people who haven't done it before.

It is a beautiful moderate trail for hike or dog walk. The split loop trail is a 6.4 mile round trip with elevation gain of 1270 feet. It is up to you how far you want to do. During the fall season, the leave change to golden color and very attractive. It is great outdoor activity. We did not finish the trail, we only try a mile to enjoy the fall color. The trail is very nice. The trail head only have a few parking space. So get there early will help.

The price we were quoted was extremely high but it was our anniversary and we assumed the price would reflect the value of services rendered. In hindsight, bottom line: All things considered, in my opinion, you pay for a Ferrari and get a BMW. The price for what you get is egregiously overpriced even when accounting for how expensive the Vail Valley is these days. I recommend this experience if you are ultra wealthy to the point where cost/value ratio means nothing to you. I don't recommend this trip of you appreciate the concept of value in any way. There is a way to get the same experience with better accommodations for MUCH less: 1. For almost 50% less, stay at the 4 Eagle Ranch down the road for meals and lodging: VERY unique remote glamping experience with classy yet low key tent bar/restaurant on the hillside. So on paper a 3 mile 600 foot elevation hike sounds mild......but I encountered 1-2 feet of fresh powder trekking up to the ridge. Stunning views and vistas will reward you Not to mention I led us up to a 35 degree slope with a lovely, yet amazingly dangerous cornice of unstable snow. Anyone with ATA knowledge knows this is how to easily die. So be careful in the Winter. Over all this is an amazing place right off of I70. Easy drive from Denver etc. Highly recommened.

The trail was well marked and maintained, and the trailhead has restrooms. As of late June, wildflowers were popping. The trail was quite muddy, but well worth it for the amazing 360 degree views from the top; it was so cool feeling surrounded by mountain ranges on all sides!
