I was told it would be no problem, that I didn't need to preorder- to just call an hour early and they would have it ready. I called today and was told they would not be able to accommodate my order. I was able to get 12 wings and luckily Hudson's said they would fry some for me, so I'm getting the remainder there. This store has great fried chicken, but they need to do a better job setting expectations of what they can and cannot do. I will add the deli staff was more than friendly and courteous, but apparently the night staff didn't do their job, so I was left scrambling.

I did not realize I would be staying in a dry county. Had I know this I would have brought some beers with me. Why do they even have dry counties? Why should some local jackass get to dictate what I consume. My kid said so it was not to compete with the local methamphetamine market. I guess that makes sense. This place is like a liquor wonderland and is literally just over the county line in Boone Co., it's just sitting there waiting on you. We were headed to Harps in the next town when we passed this place. The guy was nice and the place was mostly clean. I don't need anything fancy from a place like this so it was a great experience for sure. Beautifully decorated with deer targets, beer swag, and dust. Good luck if you need a buzz in Marshall, AR. You will be hard pressed. I do think there is a pot store maybe. *You can enjoy liquor/beer/wine by the glass if you dine in one of the mediocre dining establishments in town though. One place said I had to fill out a form and join a club to partake. They never brought me the paperwork. Probably because I said that I wanted a badge and a certificate for joining the club. Our family isn't a fan of broccoli cheddar. They were so sweet and let us have another of the tomato basil. The potato bacon was creamy full of flavor. Who doesn't love bacon added. They will be loading up and heading to War Eagle. I can't wait.

We stopped in for a quick break and grabbed coffee, hot chocolate, and a pastry. Everything hit the spot and was exactly what you want on a travel stop. One thing I really appreciated is that they have a separate line/cashier for food, which keeps things moving and makes the whole experience feel efficient, even when it's busy. The place itself was clean, the staff was super friendly, and service was quick. Overall, just a really solid stop to recharge before getting back on the road.

Overall it was very good. My husband had biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were the lightest fluffiest biscuit I've ever had! He thought that they exceptional but couldn't eat it all!
