We hit a quiet weekend and only about 10 of the 50 rooms were occupied. The place is older, but well maintained and clean. The owners, Debbie and Randall, are great people and were very helpful. I just made a reservation here for late October to catch the changing of the leaves in the Ozarks. The restaurant, Scooters, is also a great place to eat. We had dinner there 2 nights. The Prime Rib is excellent.

Curtains would not shut all the way giving no privacy. Carpet was stained. Bed is an old spring mattress type which gave feedback very time you moved. Light bulbs missing from lamps. Told them we wasn't staying more than one night because of the condition of the room and they want more than onenights pay out of 4 days. Says we owe two but only will refund one day out of the four so far. Had to get credit card company involved because owner plays games. Room next to ours smelled so bad wife could not enter and other couple wouldn't take it. One other couple was given a room with just a bed and no other furniture with lamps placed on floor. Then moved them to a room with broken furniture.

I loved having so much to do right at the resort, from the pool and walking trails to the sauna, cold plunge, pickleball and fire pit. And its dog-friendly! It's a great balance if you want to spend your days exploring Eureka Springs but still have somewhere relaxing to come back to at the end of the day. Definitely a fun option for a couples trip or weekend getaway!

Example: I noticed a charge on my card at the end of my stay from Wanderlust, which is odd because I paid my booking in-full up front. Come to find out, they charged my card an extra $50, without even calling or notifying me. Apparently this was to replace two shower curtains in their public bathroom. I only used one shower and the shower I did use was NOT left disorderly. Even so, had they asked, I would have gladly went cleaned it or purchased two new curtains, which are $12.99, they charged me $40 for them. Not to mention, they charged me $8 for their attempt to clean the old one. If I'm not mistaken, I already paid to use the restroom when I made the reservation, so they are already getting paid to clean the bathroom. This is just an example of the kind of schemes they run and get away with it because they have some clause in their terms and conditions that says they can make up rules anytime they want. Which is ridiculous. Avoid the headache, there are plenty of other nice places in the area

What's not happening is excessive noise, music, dogs, reving engines and drunks! This is a very nice place don't miss out because of the bad reviews!!!

They even blocked off parking spaces so our bikes could stay together, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel clearly understands the needs of motorcycle travelers. They provided a hose and motorcycle-friendly towels, making it easy to remove a day's worth of bugs after riding some of the best roads in the Ozarks. The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the price was very reasonable. If you're looking for a motorcycle-friendly place to stay in Eureka Springs, the Edelweiss Inn is an excellent choice. We'll definitely stay here again on future rides.

The owners work so hard nonstop and are the friendliest people you will come across. Everyone in Eureka is so helpful but the owners at the Lookout Lodge are very special. They will help you with activity ideas for your family and give really helpful feedback around the area. The rooms are done so nicely. Very, Very, clean and spacious for a one bedroom with two queens. You will be glad you chose this place. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back to stay here in the future!

Upon arriving on the 21st, we found bedbugs in our room #1 downstairs (adults only area). We went straight back to the office and she offered us the room next door #2. It in fact also had bedbugs and we took a video of a live bug on the bed! Went back up to the office and she tried to offer us a 3rd room in which we kindly declined and asked for a refund so we could find somewhere else to go. The lady said we had to go through Booking.com to get a full refund. We called booking and was told the Lookout had 48hrs to respond. We received an email back from Booking stating they could not come to an agreement with the Look Out Lodge and so we have not got our refund! We have messaged and called again numerous times to the Lookout Lodge and to Booking.com without response. I highly do NOT recommend staying here unless you want to carry bedbugs home. I will be calling the health department, BBB, and a smalls claims lawyer due to the lack of response and refund that we asked for as it is not suitable for anyone to stay in with bedbugs.

We were impressed with the option to fill your propane tanks on site! And $5 a bundle of wood for the perfect little fire in the fire pit was very reasonable when some charge way more. They are also a trolley stop, which is nice if you don't want to fight with parking downtown. I highly recommend and next time, we will bring our pups, since it's very dog friendly!

They have treehouses, castles, caves/hobbit holes and Harry Potter themed rooms. All are separate and detached from each other - behind a gate. We stayed in a hobbit hole (you go down concrete steps - built into the earth) It had a king-sized bed, fireplace, refrigerator, microwave, couch with ottoman, jacuzzi tub, outside sitting area, large closet, and a view out to the woods (below the higher ground level) on the only side of the 4 "walls" that's not totally underground - where we saw a deer. Very relaxing and romantic place that is a short drive to the Eureka Springs attractions. It is enough off route 62 that you truly feel remote - it was quiet.
