They looked at my car right away, only sold me the tires I needed (none of this "you have to buy the whole set" that you get at other places), and gave me a really good price. I called Truck Specialities and they said they could take care of it, but they were booked until next week -- but he told me i could bring it by and they could at least tell me if the problem was serious or could wait. I drove over and when the tech looked at it, he said the mounting for the baseplate was close to failure - a very serious problem -- at which point they made the time to fix it right then and there. In maybe two hours, the baseplate was secure and i was on my way. A nice surprise was that the price was very reasonable too. Plus they were very nice to deal with! I couldn't be more pleased with the work - or grateful they took care of it before anything really serious happened.

Over the top, the best purchasing experience my husband and I have ever had at any dealership for any vehicle either of us has ever purchased. No kidding. This place deserves this kind of glowing review. We don't live in Iowa, but we felt that it was worth it to purchase an RV at Lichtsinn. We wanted to ensure that the Winnebago Revel we are purchasing had not been towing a delivery driver's vehicle behind it all the way to Seattle, as we learned from our local dealership often happens with these small van-sized RVs even though the recommended tow weight is only 5,000 lbs. Since this would be against the Mercedes Benz Sprinter manufacturer's recommendation for lifetime performance of the our new RV, we wanted to take care of our investment. Stacy is the best representative we have ever worked with at any dealership. Highly recommended.

I will say the motorhome does attract a lot of attention from people who are mostly looking for a new one. We have owned about a dozen motorhomes over the years and believe the concept and design of this one is excellent. However, the detailing of this $200k motorhome and service at the purchasing dealer, Lichtsinn RV, overshadows much of the improvements that have been made. The full body paint job looks ok from a distance, but up close the attention to detail is substandard. There is debris and small bubbles in the finish everywhere. Lichtsinn collected a $5k non-refundable deposit. The sales lady, Brittany, told us this is used for presale inspection and preparation. Which initially sounded fair, but that was proven to be just a lie. We still maintain there was no true presale inspection or repair. Others have complained about this too. Our motor home came to us with many items needing repair. They did not allow us enough time to be educated plus inspect the motor home for damage both at the same time, as suggested by the management. The whole theme was to get your check and send you to your local dealer for any repairs needed. We remember Brittany and the closer were hovering over us until they could got our check. Once they have been paid you don't even exist. Once you drive off the lot to head home or to make a vacation out of it, any problem you find are now your problems and responsibility. Also, the minute you step in the companies front door every employee you meet will try to sell you something to up the price of your new RV. It feels like every employee gets a commission, too.  I do realize that a the first time buyer may not recognize this and it could easily be misinterpreted as they are just being helpful. So in summary the Ekko is a very attractive and practical motorhome, but the support that went with it leaves much to be desired. I am confident of two things. I am not the only one who has experienced the above. The problem is the company just weighs a few complaints against doing anything about them and costing them more time and money. It is just a numbers game. If more buyers would complain or stop buying from them, they would improve their product to meet what should be the standard for the industry. I also  know the management will deny all the above and issue apologies. Apology is their favorite word, but this does not make up for your lost time and unnecessary expenses. It is just part of Lichtsinn. Jeff Roberg, DVM
