The trail takes you through a beautiful, heavily wooded Ozark landscape with towering trees, rocky creek beds, huge rock formations, and some really impressive bluffs along the way. We made our way to Eden Falls and also checked out the cave, which made the hike even more fun and adventurous. The scenery around the rock formations and cave was probably my favorite part of the trail. The only disappointment was that the area hadn't received much rain recently, so Eden Falls was completely dried up during our visit. Even without the waterfall flowing, though, the hike itself was definitely worth doing. The forest, cliffs, creek beds, and cave still provided plenty to see and made for a beautiful outdoor experience. Great hike with lots of variety and beautiful Ozark scenery. I would definitely recommend visiting--just try to go after some rainfall if you want to see Eden Falls flowing!

The staff are cheerful and helpful, the food is great, there's all sorts of gear available if you forget or break something. The first night I used the delightful hammock grove and was in chatting distance of my friends in their tents. The next night we backpacked to the river bottom for 3 nights. After one night we froze and hightailed it back out the next morning. We were exceedingly grateful for the next few nights in a cozy platform hut at JB! We were 3 girlfriends and nobody wanted to share a bed, so I got the very comfortable double bed, one got the futon and the third says she was perfectly cozy with her pad and sleeping bag on the kitchenette floor. There's a mini fridge, window AC and a space heater, which is really all we needed. Everything in the facility is sparkling clean and well maintained, our cabin, the luxury bathhouse, the campground and hammock grove, everything was just delightful. The wifi was great in and around the bath house, the hammock grove and campsites, but not in the huts. There was absolutely no signal with Verizon, ATT or TMobile, which were all represented in our little group. Our only regret is we were too tired to take advantage of the really cool firepits!

And today, I'm writing this review solely based on the drive down to Triple (aka Twin) Falls. If you are not into a long hike (2 miles+ one way), then this is definitely the one for you. To see the waterfall, you'll only need to take a very short hike from the trailhead (although driving down there is very winding and steep so there is even a road sign that says, "Cool your brakes" on the way.) Going back to the hike part, if you want to go up to the top of the waterfall however, you'll need to hike another 0.25 miles from the bottom but it's definitely doable even if you absolutely hate to hike/walk! The exact date of the hike was today (Wednesday, April 20, 2022). It had been raining on and off all day so the trail was muddy. But in my opinion, the rain made the whole experience so mystic, mysterious, and very green with abundance of water spouting out from the top of it. The water was, surprisingly, not so muddy. We took the time to explore the area for at least an 1.5 hours. Interestingly, not a single soul came and went during the whole duration of our visit; we had the whole area to ourselves. The area was so picturesque. It's definitely a great place for a meditation to empty your mind. You'll also have so many spots to take beautiful pictures from so many different angles. I HIGHLY recommend this place for waterfall chasers!!

Then we drove around a little and found parking areas at campsites close to the river so we could get other views. The ranger did tell us that we could get more places if we had 4WD. We stayed mostly in the middle and lower sections. I wish we'd gone at night for the night sky but wasn't aware of it at the time and needed to move on to our next destination. We will be back in the future to enjoy more of the river and the park.

A tram is also available for a round trip adventure but the bike was just too fun to pass up. Along the way we saw all kinds of little critters, snakes, fish and birds. Stopped at the tree house, chapel and most of the waterfalls. On bike with all the stops about 2 hours, walking could easily be 3+. Bikes are $15 each and I highly recommend getting there early so you have your pick cause the good ones go fast. Some have baskets and you should get one of those and then fill it with a picnic lunch. Little under $20 per person for entry, with discounts for veterans, seniors and children. Large parking but the place is popular, so again if possible arrive early.

One of the parking areas connects directly to the Dewey Short Visitor Center, which has a boat dock for visitors who want to come ashore and explore. The visitor center itself is worth a stop, with lake information, exhibits, and clean restrooms. Whether you're walking, biking, boating, or just looking for a peaceful place to relax, Table Rock Lake State Park has something for everyone. It was cute and cozy. This place is good if you want just the very basic of amenities. Shelter and running water, optional kitchenette. I couldn't give this place higher rating simply because we felt the cleaning could be a bit more thorough. Surely the most trafficked areas are cleaned but there could be better inspections with their cleaning. There were splatters of brown stains on the wall next to the bed. Made the whole place feel untidy.

There are many spots and some have electric while others have both electric and water. The spots are for varying size trailers/RVs or tent camping. They're spaced nicely so you have a little privacy. It's absolutely beautifully. I felt like I was in a rainforest. Although we had some on and off rain... the campground is very much in nature, green, lots of trees and waking up to birds chirping was lovely! I will say, there were some disrespectful neighbors camping, which can be expected, that stayed up until 3 am partying, loud music, drinking, etc. I think the park host paid them a visit and it was much quieter after 10pm. The bathrooms are also available with private toilet and shower combos. I will say... they were quite disgusting. Constantly wet and humid inside from the showers, visible mold on the walls and ceiling and rust and corrosion at the base of the doors. I had brought my own portable potty and small shower tent, but was informed that was against campground policy and told to take it down. Other than that, it was great. Has a playground, nice walking, beach, and close to some markets and restaurants.

This part of the lake is calm and way less crowded even though it's super close to Branson. This is a great place to camp with your 5th, motorhome or trailer! They even have pull through sites for buses and longer rigs. Each site is well paved for leveling and have electric & water hookups. The dumping station is conveniently located across the street from the camping sites. Cricket Creek is dog friendly, retiree and family oriented. This is a beautiful camp ground to walk and it's a short distant walk to the marina. This campground is very clean and well maintained.
