That shocked me to begin with. Although she was out of stock she recommended calling my doctor and having them adjust the dosage as she had a different strength available. I did as she suggested and everything worked out! She even called to tell me she received the script from my doctor and I could come anytime. I showed up at 5:30pm as she closes at 6 and she said you must be Renee. I was like omg hey yes I am! The pharmacy is so cute and so private you don't feel uncomfortable like at other pharmacies. I honestly always feel judged whether it is from a pharmacist or a pharmacy tech. Mai and I got to chatting about other medications I take and she said she would make sure they were stocked on the shelf for me. Wow! How great! I also let her know my troubles with CVS/Rite Aid and she agreed pharmacists shouldn't be interfering with what the doctors recommend. Love that! After a delightful few minutes, I was all checked out and ready to go and Mai offered me a drink! Like an actual drink which normally people would buy. I was like are you sure?? She was like yes please be my guest and she even walked me to the door. This was hands down the best experience I have ever had in a pharmacy if not just in general! This is for the pharmacy…read more I've lived all over Maryland, and it wasn't until I moved up to Germantown that I started using Walgreens. I've been to CVS and Safeway to pick up my hormones in the past, but nothing has compared to my treatment at Walgreens. Truly one of the most welcoming pharmacies I've gone to. They allow me to have my preferred name on file (cvs refused to do that), and they understand that the hormones I use are injectable so there's little to no issue trying to aquire the needles I need to use (other than stock issues but obviously that isn't entirely their fault). I've had all sorts of issues with that at other pharmacies, so to see how understanding and knowledgeable alot of the staff are, it really brings peace of mind to me when picking up from here. I'm sad I'm moving again so soon cause this one has really become a home for me. Thank you all so much!

I grew up near this store. Back in the 1990's, this Giant was the only supermarket. I'm loyal though. I still ride with my day one homies, I don't really need no new friends, no new friends. They have local produce advertised in the front of the store, something that I would normally only see in the Bay Area. The green peppers were from the Miller farm in Pennsylvania. I am friends with the Miller farmers actually. They are my real friends. Fuck a fake friend where your real friends at? They even have self-checkout lines, a revamped produce section, and a bakery that must be All Frozen Everything, just like Trinidad James. Look inside of my soul and you can find gold and maybe get rich, hold up Trinidad James in four weeks, but now my album platinum and shit, so what Y'all keep the numbers.. The bakery freezes all of its bread and then heats it up, but since this is the case, just don't buy it! Admire the baked goods but don't give into temptations.

I have had a mix of interactions with the staff here, nothing outwardly negative, just generally unfriendly. BUT there is a gentleman that usually works in the dairy/processed meats section and he is always SO NICE and so friendly. Even when I come in at 6 in the morning on the weekends!
