I love this store because it is a subsidiary of Kroger. Its always clean when I shop and everything that I need is always in stock. I live their fresh seafood department as well. The check out process reminds me of the supermarkets back from the early 80s when they take your entire basket from you opposed to you emptying your cart out on the conveyor belt. I stopped by Harris Teeter with my sister, to check it out and to pick up a few things. This is such a nice store, as you know if you've read my Publix reviews I love me some Publix!! I have fallen in love with another supermarket, but this will have to be a long distance relationship. No Harris Teeter in Easley, only ONE Publix and TWO Ingles, we can't even get a "REAL"Spinx! Ok that's my rant for the day. They have Halloween Candy everywhere along with fall decorations. There's a good sale this week with a lot of BOGO free items. Don't go to the store hungry like we did. I picked up what I came in to buy, but I also bought things I didn't come in to get. The food area has a section for fresh baked pizza(whole or 2 slices for $5), a salad bar, wing bar, hot foods bar, Asian food bar, the deli, freshly made sushi, salads already made, (8 pc.) fried chicken buckets, pulled white meat rotisserie chicken, the bakery, Starbucks and a Tavern. This store has it all, while we were there we got our VIC cards. I saved a little over $10 with my purchased. The people working every where in the store, we're smiling, saying good morning l, friendly and helpful. This was a first visit, but won't be my last. My plan is to visit again real soon, it was such a pleasure to shop at Harris Teeter. read more

It had been a while since I visited a Harris Teeter. There was one in Spartanburg (where I grew up) but I don't remember it well. About 2-3 years ago I stopped by one in North Carolina. It was a quick stop though. I just had to grab one item. However, I did notice that the store was really clean and it was a nice experience. So, when I heard that Greenville was going to get Harris Teeter again, I had to go check it out. (Apparently they also used to have one or two before and they had closed down.) Btw, this was back when this store opened. I just never got around to making a review. lol I have been a few times to this location since then also. But back when this location opened I visited about a week or two after they opened their doors. Just to wait for the excitement to die down a little. The store was definitely clean and well stocked. They had a great selection of groceries. Both off brand and name brand. I really liked their selection of produce. They have fruits and vegetables there that you don't normally see in American grocers. That was really cool. They also get bonus points for having a Starbucks and pre-made lobster rolls. The lobster rolls are so good ! Overall , Harris Teeter is probably one of the best grocery stores in Greenville. read more

Grocery Shopping with a boozy twist! I am very much intrigued by the idea that I can grocery shop with beer or wine in hand or in the cup holder of my cart. Yes, you read that right. You can drink and grocery shop at Harris Teeter. As soon as you walk in, there is a bar on the right where you can purchase your drink of choice and conveniently put it in the cup holder of your cart as you zoom around the grocery aisles. Despite the fun spin on what is most often a mundane task of life, I'm leaving only 3-stars, subtracting two for the poor quality in produce. Overall great prices and variety, but they lacked in freshness. Most produce looked as if it were already going bad. read more

Honestly this is overall a good Harris Teeter. The 2 star rating is because the bartender is very rude. If you're not one of her regular customers. Expect your ID to be returned thrown on the counter. If you're not one of her regular customers expect to be treated like a burden. It's the same bartender every time so this location knows. read more

The Harris Teeter Tavern has great beer specials and TVs available for watching sports. Grab a mimosa before doing your Sunday shopping. It's a great escape while getting your groceries. For the market - good meet selection with very helpful staff. You can always find a few local goods mixed in with your favorite brands. Harris Teeter is doing an extremely poor job with COVID precautions, they are not providing one way aisles, not a single one of the employees are wearing masks, employees are bunched together closely while socializing, and the stock of staples such as unbleached flour, instant coffee and frozen vegetables is NONEXISTENT. Harris Teeter, your performance is seriously disappointing. Perhaps you are giving first dibs on your supplies to your personal shoppers, but that is a very poor policy as anyone coming into your store will need to go elsewhere to find what they need. Even when they first opened they was literally selling expired stuff i got gummies that expired a year before! I'm still a fan of their selections. There is so much from which to choose. They have great sales and the lower prices balance out some of the more expensive items. I do not like their 80/20 ground beef, which is loaded with fat and cooks up greasy. The overall vibe and friendliness of the store has gone downhill since the grand opening. Even the senior gentleman bringing in the carts almost ran me over. So many employees everywhere and not one greeted me or asked if I needed help. Publix, you have me spoiled. Last sample was a Milka bar, yum! - Order ahead deli (website or app) and it'll be waiting for you in a tray, no waiting for the order to be prepped. - FREE items for VIC card members almost every weekend, email comes out on Fridays and is loaded on your card, in the past I've gotten candy bars, yogurt, etc. - Tons of fresh hot food, salad bar, olive bar, sushi, pizza, sandwiches, to name a few. Saving the best for last: - They double coupons up to .99 cents every day and also accept competitor coupons. Around once a month, they have an event called "Super Double Coupons", where your coupons will be doubled up to $2. This is awesome to score deals up to 100% off. I used to like the hot bar until the lady that puts up the breakfast food listened to a few people and started serving the bacon raw. I mean it's literally uncooked. We come here a good bit for lunch. They have a really nice hot bar, pizza, salad sandwiches and sushi. It is such a nice variety you can always find something satisfying. We also come here to shop at times. I recommend coming here for lunch, we bring several people from our office and they are always presently surprised. read more

If you haven't been to The Teets, what are you waiting for?? It's not so much a grocery store, as it is a FOOD EXPERIENCE. The Augusta Road Teets has a bar, and you can stroll around, while sipping wine that ever-so-conveniently fits into the drink holder in the trolley made just for that purpose! There is even live music at times. This is a treat for me, and I don't get every single thing I need here; but when I want to be positively *spoiled* with cheese, I give myself over to KEEM in the glorious cheese section. I thought I knew a little about cheese.... Keem knows a lot more. :P What a great time, hanging out and shooting the sh1t about the most delicious thing on the planet. Okay so today hubby and I decided to pay a visit to Harris Teeter, we waited from the grand opening cause I hate crowded places were you can hardly browse the aisles. We were there just for ice cream and fruit, I shop at Sam's club since I haven't find a good supermarket here in the south that convince me but Harris Teeter will be soon my supermarket of preference. My family is a little spoil, we like to buy good meat cuts, our own favorites are Ribeye, NY strip, skirt steak, flank steak and picanha, at Sam's club the only ones I get all the time are ribeye and NY strip but their prices are always the same IF they ever go on sale the price per pound is $8.99, regular $9.99, today at Harris Teeter I got the ribeye at $5.99 a pound, I almost dance of happiness lol I would like to give a special thanks to Steve from the meat market, he knew exactly my cuts, told me he's been a butcher for over 20 years, he was extremely nice and helpful and because of workers like him I do go back to the same place, so in few words, I'll be back this weekend to buy my meats, I believe I'll be saving a lot of money or maybe the same but with more bulk. Despite giving this place three stars, I come here more often than I care to admit. I work at the hospital so on the drive home, Harris Teeter is conveniently there for me to grab groceries and some post-call food. The place is huuuuge! There is a Starbucks, southern hot line, Chinese hot line, chicken wings, fresh pizzas, sushi, a wine bar. They have a huge variety of fresh produce as well as great selections on wine and beer. However, the prices have been creeping up. The hot line bars initially had an amazing deal of $4.99 per pound however now I think it went to $7.99 or $8.99 per lb. I pay about 1/2 the price for groceries if I go to Trader Joe's and about 2/3 the price if I go to Publix. They do send out a $10 off deal if you spend $50 or more each week but still not too ecstatic about the prices. read more

i love Harris Teeter , the supermarket is always clean the food is always fresh & everyone who works there is super nice when i come in always asking if i need help & saying hello . i love the hot bar food too , i'm always getting something to go there . kudos to the chefs that prepare the soups and sandwiches and all the hot and cold food especially the wings . my family loves the wings when they're hot and fresh but ONE THING. always ruins it , you have to burn the feathers off the chicken a little better , i'm not from SC so idk if that may not but a customary thing to do before cooking wings but where in from it's a must ! other than that , the supermarket is pretty groovy & i love it . read more

The daytime deli workers don't clean as they go, I watched them making sandwiches on the most filthy work surfaces, it didn't look like they had cleaned at all that day. Rotten nasty tomatoes being put on people's sandwiches. Cumbers and onions not fresh, turning translucent it was so old and lettuce with brown edges. Don't eat from the deli during the daytime or you will get sick. read more

Travel from Fountain Inn to shop. I like the people that work there. The subs are better then subway by far. I have been pleasantly surprised with the pizza especially the Margherita. They have a hidden gem working there... Ashley, who was cooking up pizzas tonight, went above and beyond for me. It was 7:40.. she got off at 8 so I told her Nevermind on making me a fresh pizza, I'd just buy frozen.. she said oh no girl I'm making you the best pizza, give me 15 mins! Sure enough, exactly 15 mins she handed me a hot & fresh large pizza with the biggest smile on her face. I loved Harris Teeter before, but now I can't imagine shopping anywhere else. I've been a long time Publix shopper but this new Harris Teeter is just 2 miles from my house so I said "Hey, let's give it a try." What a disappointment. First of all its almost impossible to find a parking space without circling ten times. Secondly, I asked three weeks ago to order a special item that Publix has ordered for me several times. They wrote it down in their book with my name and phone number with a promise to call when it came it. That's the last I've heard from them. I stopped by their yesterday and the customer service person talked to the manager on the phone and he or she couldn't be bothered to come out front and told the girl to tell me they were busy and would call me tomorrow. Of course no call so I went back today and no one knew anything about it. And the manager was no where to be found. So disappointing, but that's what I get for not staying loyal to Publix. read more
