We've been seeing Maggie for three years now for marriage counseling. She is proactive and empathetic, giving us skills to do the same for ourselves and for each other. We can communicate so much more effectively than three years ago and learned a number of tools that we could use in other settings as well.
Fortunately our insurance, Blue Cross PPO, covers our sessions. A friend whose insurance didn't cover mental health paid $165 a session, which is quite hefty.
I heard great things about other therapists in this practice as well, namely Joseph and Judith. Their approach is more laid back so if you want more accountability and suggestions, communicate that upfront.
The office is located in the loop, accessible by a number of trains and buses. Sign in at the lobby and take the elevator up to the seventh floor.
