It was great! We had a bucket of fries, Mexican salad and a salmon melt. All very tasty! The restaurant was busy, so we were led to a back room that was quieter. But we weren't forgotten! The service was perfect!

Kerri & Greg are the proprietors, of this local gem! Wow! They did blow our socks off. Their crab cakes were incredibly fresh and cooked perfect. We also had the bbq smoked pulled sandwich that had one of my favorite coleslaws. The French fries were hot and seasoned, yum. Sean who was there as well seem to be helping out doing many things, I'm not sure what position he held there but we had a great conversation. When you go tell them all that we said hello. Greg, thank you for the extra time, and making us feel special to give us a tour of your kitchen. I WOULD RECOMMEND you trying this place yourself. C-19 took possession of their little family cinema. The lady driving this truck hit our car. I wonder how, she was a excellent driver....

One of the only restaurants in town. Checked the reviews and decided to try it. Great place!!! We were driving through, not from here. The waitress was exceptional (younger college aged girl). She was basically working the whole restaurant and she never missed a beat. We got the nachos and one of the melt sandwiches. So flavorful and tasteful. I would go back in a heart beat! Not bad pricing. And for those interested they have lots of local beers on tap.

The Harriet Melt...so named because the movie theater attached to the restaurant was called "The Harriet"...great sammich...

Friendly, fast service and tasty food. We had the spaghetti and the greek salad. Both were large portions and really flavorful.

A great stop for lunch headed to or from South Dakota. It's a tourist gift shop meets diner, and my…read moreexpectations were low, but guess what - the Indian Fry Bread Taco works! It's a big order - the size and shape of a pizza, and less like a taco. Don't mistake it for an authentic Mexican dish. Fry bread meets basic taco - but a fun comfort dish. The Buffalo cheeseburger was good with fresh ingredients but the taco is the reason to stop. Service was super friendly- really nice people.

After eating two thoroughly mediocre Indian Tacos in the past couple of days, I was excited seeing…read morethe signs advertising the Indian Taco at Custer Battlefield Trading Post Cafe as being the best in the west. As I walked in, I saw posters stating that this restaurant was recommended by Oprah herself. Very promising! Frybread with Honey ($8.99) - The frybread here is fantastic! As with most frybreads, it's a plate-sized frisbee of fried dough, although irregular in thickness and leavening. Some areas have the chew and puff like a doughnut, while other areas are almost completely hollow almost like pita bread. The frybread is crisp on outside without being overly greasy. It goes so well with the honey they provide in a squeeze bottle delivered to your table. I would eat this as-is again and again. (5/5) Indian Taco ($14.95) - Now, take the excellent frybread and use it as a base to ladle on seasoned ground beef with beans, chopped romaine lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomato, and black olives. Instead of dousing the top with salsa (might be pico since it's quite thick and not runny at all), it's thoughtfully served in a cup on the side so you can dress the salad to your liking. I actually preferred it this way as I found the salsa to be very salty. The dish also comes with a packet of sour cream on the side. I found the beef to be ground a little too well. Instead of a traditional ground beef texture, it kind of felt like frozen burrito-style extruded beef. Not the best texture, but I guess more authentic? (4/5) One of the issues we found was with the cups and silverware - both smelled kind of musty, like they weren't properly dried. I guess just don't sniff them and you'll be fine? Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the food served at Trading Post Cafe. I definitely recommend the frybread if you're visiting Little Bighorn Bathrooms: At least one individual unisex room in the store
