Warwick Dental becomes more and more disappointing every time we use them. Dr. Lawrence is a good…read moredentist, Dr. Sullins is a competent general dentist, Dr. Guffey is either too busy to perform the booked procedure in a timely manner or, he seemed somewhat preoccupied with something other than performing my procedure. I was given 8 - 10 injections for numbing - if two didn't work why continue to inject the same ingredient? This was very painful and took a long time between each injection. The financial office greed exceeds common courtesy financial practices. Warwick requires advance payment for all procedures without being provided an estimate of what insurance would or would not cover, and we are never given an itemized statement. After we receive an EOB from our insurance company, we are eventually given a refund, but that doesn't excuse this practice. It is, in fact, an insult.

They were sending me these messages while at work, and told me the dentist was on board. The manager has lied repeatedly, and only real job is to bring money in. Which she spoke about frequently. I do not appreciate the wrongs, mistreatment, and unprofessionalism. I honestly can't believe medical professionals would attack somebody's health.

Dr. Potts is the best dentist I have had in the United States. My previous US dentist used cheap…read moreproducts, matched colors poorly, and did a terrible job of putting in crowns - he even ground off one of my natural teeth instead of fixing the placement of a crown! UGH! A German dentist fixed multiple issues when I lived there for a year in 2015. In 2016, I found Dr. Potts - and I am sooooo happy I did! He's a great guy and and excellent dentist who truly cares whether the color of a crown matches my own teeth. He makes absolutely certain that the crown is set into my gum line correctly. He adjusts _crowns_ to fit my other teeth properly, not the wrong way around. Dr. Potts is GREAT! And all the staff are fabulous, too! I have never had a bad experience at Dr. Potts' office.

Dental work has been the story of my life for years now... my experience at this office was…read moreterrible, just do not bother... if so, proceed with caution! Disclaimer - this dentist profits from your insurance before your work is complete. For example, if you have taken an impression of a bridge and you change your mind...while your waiting (autonomy, finances, personal wishes, etc.) you will have to go through a reimbursement process and Dr. Tarter will charge you for services that she did not initially plan to charge you for... since you changed your mind. According to Delta Dental, a pay-out for a crown is not suppose to occur until the bridge has been seated (cemented). Where all the issues began... This is where I am, what hurts the most is that... I chose this dentist because I had built a relationship with the dentist, not the rude culturally unaware receptionist or office assistant. After thousands of dollars and years later... due to one hiccup along the way with my fiances, I wasn't offered a payment plan for $413.00 (this would've completed 5+ years of dental work). After 5 years... of me maxing out my dental insurance, every year. Over and over again, I was told that they were trying to help me and help me figure things out but not once did anyone ask me... what would work for me, whats applicable for you, Erica. What could you pay...and how often (that's how you help someone, not whats best for you, but what is best for the patient) That's what hurt, that's what made me realize that this dentist would value money over the welfare of my oral health. I have been in temporary crowns for one month. It's getting cold... the holidays are approaching. It sucks... However, the respect and level of loyalty exemplifies the courage that I have to move forward... I'm a hard worker! I do not ask for hand outs or ask anyone to pity me! I will hold a Master degree in 12 weeks, I work 40+ hours a week. I'm a single mother of three. I'm the POA of my father that is fighting cancer. I've worked so hard to get where I am. All I ever asked for is the adequate healthcare, truth, empathy, and respect when it came to my oral health. I feel betrayed, confused, and all of the above by who I trusted to care for me! This is not supposed to be how I should be feeling, at this point I could've went to a dentist that offered ALL services in one day (years ago)...I didn't have to miss work, school, or meetings. I chose YOU, Dr. Tarter. This is what I get for being loyal, screwed. As mentioned before, proceed with caution... be very involved with your transactions and carry-over! Angela will not give nor propose your over-payment checks without asking, so be verbal and advocate for yourself and well-being. I wish you the Best!
