Peppertree dental is fantastic. They are very professional and friendly. We always feel welcome. They of course do great dental work, but my favorite thing is that they 3-D scan your mouth and show you all through your mouth how things look, what needs to be done, and why. They also have a computer screen in front of you to show you x-rays and other information and images they are looking at and can explain. They sent me a $250 bill for a "CT-scan per arch." Here's the issue. I stopped using My Dentist's services maybe in... 2008? 2009? Their initial response was, "Are you sure?" Umm... Yeah... I'm looking at the date on the bill; I was living in Philadelphia at the time. "But these CT-scans have your name on them." Well I don't know what to tell you, because they're not my CT-scans. "Okay we'll figure out what's happening." Then a second bill arrives telling me that I've ignored my first bill. So the above conversation happened again, but this time I was told she was holding the CD with the CT-scans in her hand, as if that somehow proved that she was right and I was wrong. How about you pop that CD in the computer, look at the images and compare them with my dental records? I'm going to say with 99.9999967% certainty that they won't match. "No, we can't do that. Because that would make sense." They didn't actually say that, but I assumed that they were thinking it. A month or so after the initial bill, I was still being told that I needed to pay for the CT-scans. My patience was exhausted at this point. I sat down and typed out an angry (yet professional, I promise) letter. I told them that they needed to eat the bill because I wasn't about to take responsibility for someone else's incompetence. Apparently the letter travelled up the chain fairly quickly. Someone from the office called me soon after my letter went out. They wanted to confirm that the CT-scans weren't mine. ... (-_-) ... You don't say? Their services (when I did use them) were satisfactory. Overall, it was a [*][*][*]. I was a fan of my dentist at... My Dentist. She was friendly. This location did have a habit of throwing in unnecessary procedures that my insurance wouldn't cover (e.g. fluoride treatments aren't necessary for adults; yet they'd give it to me without asking and then the insurance company wouldn't pay because it wasn't covered). They did this to my mother and brothers as well; for a time we were all using My Dentist. So if you plan on using them, be certain that everything that's performed/offered is necessary and/or covered by your dental insurance. They were also somewhat rough with my mother when she needed to have some dental work done. We were recently conversing about how she assumed that all dental work would be similar until she went to her new dentist (also my current dentist; Dr. Prince at Renaissance Dental) and was pleasantly surprised. Also, the staff members are all very attractive women. Or they were the last time I was there. Why does that matter? It doesn't. In Summary: They are no longer... So I've only had 2 cleanings done here. One a year ago, and one today. A year ago was great and they are super speedy, my teeth feel great. However when I made a follow up appointment for 6 months out, I had to reschedule. Well EVERY SINGLE TIME I make an appointment they tell me just how lucky I am that they happen to have something available because usually they're booked 4 months out. Either I'm the luckiest person ever... or they're really all about sounding popular. However, I hate going to the dentist, and I loved the hygienist so I went through rescheduling 3 times (every time being incredibly lucky - although they did randomly close early and canceled the second time) and came back to get my teeth cleaned again (which was speedy and incredibly thorough - seriously love her) But they just keep pushing braces, while I have very naturally straight teeth. Braces are expensive, and at 26, I don't think they're really going to get worse. I have a hard time rating them because I've never had to get any dental work done other than my wisdom teeth being removed, by an oral surgeon. So I'll give their a hygienist a great rating! But their office staff is just too fake for me. And this time around, their new financial person was very scatter brained and was wrong about what my insurance would cover. read more

I would not recommend my dentist to anyone. After an exam and cleaning my husband was told he had a cavity. When we went back to have it filled that dentist had retired. Another said he needs a root canal,he said he didn't want that to just pull it. Now they think they can fill and crown it,but the tooth on either side needs crowns. When we go back to have crowns put on that dentist wasn't there anymore. After $3200 and three crowns all 3 are hurting. Now they say he needs root canal on all 3. No thanks, we'll try to find a dentist that will stay to finish the job. Disgusted Harley Johnson read more

This place has gone down hill. It has been bought out by another company and they "restructured" some staff. Suddenly there are more hidden charges and lack of human element that used to make this place special. The Doctors are still good but you will have a heading with billing. The new office manager over billing is completely money driven and all she cares about is talking you into spending more money than you can afford. I was not made privy to the changes so what normally cost me $20 with co-pay became over $100. I feel I should have been told all these changes before sitting in the chair. Then before I knew about the buy out I flat out asked her to her face if they have had any changes in how things are done. She said NO (so she straight up lied) and my wife had a procedure at the beginning of the year right when this change was happening (that we didn't know about) they messed up the paperwork and we keep getting a bill for over $1000 dollars when it should be $0. Basically it has became a place that scans you out of money. I would rather given negative stars. read more
