I am terrified of dentistry. The kindnesses shown by all the staff to me was simply incredible. The nurse for me never left my side. She held my hand at times without prompting which immediately reduced my anxiety level. During the surgery procedures themselves I was comfortable. No pain at all. When there was as an anomaly on the temporary denture the doctor and the Lab Man fixed it. Dr McIntire was patient and exacting to ensure the best result. What else,? my ride who was waiting for me heard a mother lambast the staff for not doing a dental procedure on her son, who was non compliant with pre-op instructions. My goodness, in the back while I was in recovery, the staff was professional and only spoke of the incident in a manner meant to allay future occurrences. No mention of the fact that this office was more concerned about the health of the mother's son than the mother herself. I had no idea that there was as a mom yelling at the staff in the reception area. So, bottom line here, if you want the best dental surgeon and staff around, don't dawdle to get your smile back like I did.

I don't know why they cannot seem to get the fitting right on the dentures and for months I have to go completely toothless and as anyone knows that is so embarrassing. My depression and anxiety has pretty much made me a recluse. I can't stand to be seen in public or even look at myself in the mirror because I still do not have a set of dentures that I can wear. They won't even stay in my mouth and they are so uncomfortable they give me major headaches. I went to so many appointments with them getting it wrong that I finally just gave up and was stuck with a very inadequate pair. I really wish that they would have explained the process to me better before I decided to go that route. They hardly explained anything. They so no compassion or even apologize for my situation. She has many other conditions, so I was worried they would be compounded, and in a panic I tried to find a dental office that would take her immediately, on a Friday afternoon, without an appointment. I learned after "Googling" and calling a dozen offices between Guthrie & Edmond, that many dental offices close at 3pm on Fridays or aren't open at all on this day. When I made this call I was pessimistic, but instead I was met with a professional, wonderfully kind voice on the other end, and at once, I felt this is the place. So, I mentioned the issue and urgency. The person on the line obviously had compassion and sensed the concern for my mother. She asked how soon we could be there. We made it in 30 minutes and all around, from the 1st phone call to the end of the visit , all the staff including the dentist, were absolutely, exceptionally, fantastic. The dentist even pointed out to my mother something numerous neurologists haven't been able to diagnose for her over several years of visits. Twice they've referred me to another clinics to get root canals, and both times I ended up spending $2-300 in x-ray fees to be told those teeth are not saveable.
