In just a matter of 2 weeks, Kaitlin worked her magic and organized a phenomenal 8 days in Ireland complete with Chauffeur service to and from LAX. Our requests and questions, looking back, were probably not the easiest to answer, but Kaitlin was AMAZING at researching and answering each question in what seemed like SUPER SPEED! For example, our trip consisted of spreading my friend's Mother's ashes, Kaitlin researched and gave us absolutely ALL the information we needed to legally transport the ashes and spread them in Ireland. We had a Private Chauffeured Tour while in Ireland, our Chauffeur Andy was such a perfect match for us, you would have thought Kaitlin had called and requested him specifically for us, which we surely wouldn't have doubted considering her amazing personalized service she gave us while planning AND while we were in Ireland. Kaitlin kept in touch with us well right up to departure, checked us in for our flights, gave us imperative travel tips that only someone with her travel experience could offer. While we were in Ireland, she absolutely kept checking in with us which was beyond appreciated. I have to say, Kaitlin went above and beyond with her service to us, right down to telling me, "Call me for ANYTHING no matter what time it is, I will be here for you." I could go on praising Kaitlin and the entire Laura's Travel Services for an outstanding job dealing with us, our trip went over perfectly with no complaints or hiccups. I suppose I should end by at least mentioning our accommodations in Ireland were all 5 star and breathtaking. Our tours were customized according to what was most important to my friend and her ability. We even did a cruise below the Cliffs Of Moher which was Genius of Kaitlin and we later found from others that not everyone gets to go on. We decided early that we wanted a destination wedding, but the world offers many options, and the task to pick a location seemed daunting. Even after we decided on a country (Mexico), the wedding planning task was still daunting to do on our own because there were so many options within that country, so we decided it would be best to seek the help of a professional. We found Sheila on The Knot, and after reading a little more about her, we decided to contact her. Part of requesting a consultation involved filling out a questionnaire that asked for several of our preferences, and during our first phone conversation, she asked us to elaborate on our responses to that questionnaire. Some of our preferences included the following: 1) all-inclusive resort, 2) family-friendly, and 3) affordability for us and our guests. Following the phone conversation, she emailed a few suggestions based on our preferences, and we looked into the offerings of each by exploring their websites and YouTube reviews by other travelers. One of those resorts actually met all three of our major preferences, and as soon as we confirmed our choice, Sheila went into action. She immediately set up a website for us to share with our guests. After a round of feedback from us, the website was launched, and our guests used it to contact her, and she essentially served as their travel agent. She helped our guests book room reservations, flights, group transportation between the hotel and resort, and excursions (if desired by the guest). She helped all of our 55 guests, including accommodating families to be near each other at the resort (and this resort was VERY large). Regarding our wedding, she helped us communicate with the appropriate wedding planning personnel at the resort. Whenever any issues arose, Sheila served as our advocate to help us communicate our needs with the resort. And throughout the trip, she threw in a few pleasant unexpected wedding surprises for us here and there. Our only criticism is that she could not join us as one of our wedding guests; she is such a pleasant person, and we wish she could have been there to enjoy the fruits of her labor. The least we can do is thank her and recommend other couples to seek her assistance with destination wedding planning. We hope she'll consider helping us again for our next romantic getaway.

I've since referred her to multiple close friends because of the quality of her work. From our initial call, I was a bit skeptical about working with a honeymoon planner. I didn't even realize that was an actual vendor! When wedding planning, it's easy to get caught in markups, people trying to sell you anything, and the general hubbub of it all. But Shiela was a true professional, she answered my questions thoughtfully and carefully, and completely changed my mind during that first call. What I initially thought was a service we didn't need quickly became something we were excited to continue using for all of our future trips. She handled all of our accommodations, bookings, tours, and hotels. She even left notes for hotel staff letting them know it was our honeymoon and gave us insider tips and tricks for places she had visited herself. It was such a joy working with Shiela, she gladly worked through the iterative process of adjusting our honeymoon to be exactly what we wanted. No frills, no complaints.
