When my friend insisted we order from here recently I was fairly unimpressed initially, mainly by the menu proclaiming their pizzas to be 'gourmet' and the 'best in Leeds' despite the toppings on offer being indistinguishable from those on offer on the dozens of other menus that haunt my hallway. The only thing that seemed different about Harpo's was the prices - at least £1 above the average - and the slightly odd style of writing which included a 'lady pizza' and 'tuna hooked on a bed of mozzarella cheese'. My first impressions were not helped when the pizza turned up looking considerably smaller than the advertised 11 inches and with its toppings sparsely applied. However, taste-wise it was very good, with a thin base that was crispy without being like cardboard and good quality cheese. Not exactly Leeds' best, and it could have been more generous for the price, but still a cut above your average takeaway pizza. read more
