We dropped off our trailer on Monday 9:30 am. Made repeated calls on Tuesday to get status update. No returned calls. By the end of business Weds they tell me they dont have recall parts!....and do I want the slide adjusted...and neglected to tell me about the $200 diag. fee. Service advisor named Torrie was disconnected. The techs were helpful- answering my questions. So we spent 3 nights in a hotel, and they seemed unconcerned, especially considering the advanced notice we gave them. I'm guessing they cater to customers who have purchased RVs from them, and everyone else is back burnered. I left a message with sales asking the GM to contact me about this. No response. We visit Wichita often and will find another dealer if we ever need one. My advice - Steer clear!!

The first Service Advisor and Tech had no clue what they were doing. Even after physically showing her the Damage I saw and giving them pictures they missed half the damage on my camper. Didnt have any idea how to submit a Insurance claim. So after they finally figured out how to submit a claim months later, come to find out that Advisor and tech quit or was fired not sure. It sat there nothing being done until i called them to check on it. New advisor and tech found more damage and the process started all over again. No calls from blue compass i have to keep calling them to find oit the status. 8 months for this repair and still nothing. Stay far away from this dealership, at least the service dept.

They kept it for 4 months before we got it back. later we had to have some other repairs done and they crashed it into something so they repaired that scrap and dent. All I can say is NEVER again will I get anything done there. If you go there I will wish you good luck. You will regret it.

I brought it in and waited and waited and waited more. I called every two weeks for an update. They said working with safe flight window and glass was a nightmare. Then they said that every motorhome and RV's windows had to be made because there wasn't any ready made windows. Then they told me that they couldn't just replace the broken window. They had to replace the entire window and frame. Then they said that they will have to possibly do work on the frame that surrounds the window. The last dozen times I've called, they said the person thats working my case will call back - that never happened. It's now over 8 months they have had my rig and absolutely nothing has moved forward. I wish I did my research before I brought my rig in. Here, it's spring and we want to go to the lake and we're stuck here waiting for this dealer to get off their butts and actually do what they said they would do. So if you have work to do, find another dealer, this outfit is not for you. Feeling Cheated.

1st Choice Trailer is the obvious choice. I dealt with 1 person, Karol who ALWAYS took my call. She…read morewas true to who word and over delivered in so many respects. I beat the pavement on the internet and Karol matched the BIG DEALER's price. No sales games, no surprises no back and forth with managers. Karol was my point of contact from soup to nuts. EasyPeasy. I bought a high end coach from across the country and had it shipped to my home like I ordered a pizza. They coordinated with my delivery people and made the process so simple. It was a breeze! This was 100% due to the personal touch we received from 1st Choice. I did my homework... I even bought a coach elsewhere and those guys tried some shenanigans not worth sullying 1st Choice's shining moment where I was treated like my purchase was the most important piece of business they have ever conducted. I live 1400 miles away but by using video I was able to be present and really inspect the merchandise before it was shipped. I 100% vouch for the the integrity of this dealership. I have perspective in buying an RV from a big regional outlet. Deal With This: an internet sales person... then they shove you off to a finance guy, then a local sales rep at the place who has a different person show you the coach. None of the people involved are in contact with each other. They just process you. Promises made by sales renegotiated by finance, both departments need to involve their desk's managers to get anything done and none of these eight individuals have even laid eyes on the rig you are purchasing. The Rig's workmanship from the factory is rough as a standard. So by the time you are getting the tour your RV(which may have damage), you really need to go thru every square inch of the coach to inspect it because the big dealers are big volume brokers and you are just being processed thru their system. Good luck dealing with warranty work post purchase, that is a completely different department with their own agenda and management and balance sheet. At 1st Trailer it was all Karol. She did me a solid and went thru the coach with me on FaceTime. She identified a few points of poor workmanship from the factory.. nothing major... just a rough cut here... some spackle there and Karol tidy'd her up for me before delivery. My new coach arrived hassle free. All this and.. Karol remembered my kids names. She wrote us personal notes.. sent us all t-shirts!! She even packed s'mores in our fridge for us :) like a giant hug from Goddard Kansas. I had an amazing experience from start to finish with 1st choice.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CAMPING WORLD of Wichita, KS I…read morepurchased a brand-new Forest River Tandara 5th wheel camper in September 2025. Before we picked it up we made it clear that it needed to be ready to go because we were going to use it the day we got it. The first time we used it the following happened: 1. Cabinet doors fell off 2. The bathroom faucet was shooting water straight up 3. The bedroom door handle was loose and wouldn't latch 4. The stairs to the outside were installed such that we couldn't close the door-we ended up taking it off and just leaning it against the opening when we needed to use it. 5. The panel to see what the gray and black water tank levels are only works intermittently for the black water tank. 6. The heat was only blowing into the rear bunk room and the front bedroom. I called CW to express my unhappiness with this POS camper. They said "well when it's first pulled it will flex a bit and these issues can arise" They tried to say that for every issue above. We made an appointment to take it to the service department to fix. We weren't able to get it back to the service department until Jan. 13th 2026. After we took it in for service we were told that since it was cold they would have to winterize it while it was there and I would have to pay $199 to have that done. When I called BS and stated I was NOT paying for that when it was their fault none of this was caught before we took it. They said well we can't guarantee it won't freeze, when I asked to speak the supervisor's supervisor he said it wouldn't do any good because it was Forest River's policy and not theirs. Way to back up what you sell CW...great customer service. We wanted to get our camper in and out in one day to avoid the winterization issue however when they looked into the heat problem they discovered the duct work was torn in one area and crushed in 2 other areas. Of course they didn't have the needed duct parts and would have to order it from Forest River and it should be in on Tuesday 1/20/26 BUT the technician working on it might be working on another camper so we might have to wait. When I asked why they couldn't have another technician work on it they gave me some BS answer about the technician doing all the work to tear it down wouldn't get paid for the work if someone else completes it. Seriously?? Your pay structure is not my problem. We were also told that Forest River would not fix the black water tank issue unless the entire panel stopped working. We MIGHT be able to pick it up Thursday 1/22/26 or Friday 1/23/26 again that is IF the technician can work on it. To say we were super disappointed at the way they handled this is an understatement. I will never do business with CW again and I certainly won't purchase another Forest River.

I wish I could post pictures. My 13 year old could have done a better job. When my husband said, " I'm not taking that home", they said " it doesn't look great, but it's functional". I sent pictures to our insurance agent and they told us not to leave with the camper like that. The customer service was terrible, the work was terrible... And the best part, when my husband went to pay... the lady behind the desk says "ohhh we've heard about you"!! Do not ruin six months of your life trying to get your home fixed like I did!! I would love to schedule a meeting with the GM if he would be willing to reach out to me!
