My food was very bland and the teriyaki sauce tasted weird. I had good service. I was greeted when I entered and left. The restaurant was clean. I went to the location in Whitestown the day prior and my food was better.

Spicy Miso Ramen

I had the miso ramen but I asked for it to be spicy. The broth was rich and flavorful, exactly what I needed. It came with tender pork, half an egg, bamboo shoots, and wood ear mushrooms (kikurage) in a nice big bowl. The aesthetic of the restaurant is beautiful, from the seating to the gorgeous bar setup, everything feels thoughtfully designed. The ambience is warm, perfect for a casual meal or a night out. It's nice to have a restaurant like this in the south of Indy/Greenwood. The staff were friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food!

Delicious food and great service! We came from out of state, and we enjoyed the food. Fresh seafood ingredients and the place was very clean as well.

This was our second time at Harmony, first time to this location. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The service was fantastic. They took such great care of us. The show, and food were great. The server was very attentive, always refilling our drinks, and checking to make sure we were ok. Really appreciated the service!!

Fairly new spot. Wasn't here last year when I stayed at the Hilton. Traditional Japanese steak house with a hibachi side and a sit down side We chose the sit down as we wanted sushi. Service was good, very quick and helpful. Had an angels envy on the rocks while I looked over the menu. Got a couple rolls and some sashimi with a side of seaweed salad Pink lady roll was amazing, very delicious. Sashimi was good, very fresh. Very nice inside, classic Japanese steakhouse interior Was very good and close to my hotel. Would definitely come in again

First time in today and definitely making plans to go back next week at lunch. My boyfriend says to me let's go try out that new place Harmony so we meet up. As soon as we walk in, the ambiance is very nice. The decor is on point and a lovely smiling woman greets us. She gave us the option of a table or the hibachi area, we opted for the table. Our waiter Ayden, another lovely smiling face brings us our water while we look over the lunch menu. We decided on the filet and scallops which both are absolutely delicious. My side salad was good as my boyfriend's soup was as well... no more then we began that here came our entrees so no complaints here. Scallops were cooked to perfection and a very silky amazing texture. Vegetables and fried rice on point! His filet was absolutely fantastic and cooked exactly how he asked. Definitely not sleeping on this place. We will return!

This is a different kind of hibachi steakhouse that I have ever been to. I went on Valentine's Day with my fiance and parents. I made a reservation, and we arrived a couple of minutes early. When we got there, they said that some people had accidentally made reservations at the wrong location but they were honoring those reservations at this location which caused all other reservations to get pushed back. As a reasonable person, I wasn't mad about this. But, it was a little frustrating because I was super hungry, and it smelled really good in there!! The wait was only about 15 minutes, so it wasn't anything outrageous. I will admit, the service was slow, but I wasn't upset because it was Valentine's on a Friday. I went in knowing it would be slow. Our server was busting his butt to get everyone their needs. It looked like he had at least 6 tables in our section, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than that. I ordered hibachi chicken with noodles. We also ordered a sushi roll to split as an appetizer. Of course, the hibachi comes with soup and a salad as well. I will start with the salad. I love this type of salad so much. The ginger dressing coats the crispy lettuce, and it's perfection in my eyes. The soup wasn't my favorite. I ended up not finishing it. The sushi was *chef's kiss*. I think I am easy to please when it comes to sushi though! The most interesting part was the actual hibachi food! I have always had hibachi taste the same no matter where I go. Some may be "better" than others, but it always has the same flavor profile. This hibachi-style food is completely different. It had a very peppery taste in comparison to the garlicky/soy taste you would usually expect. I don't mean this in a bad way at all, but I wasn't expecting it to be different. I quite liked the food! I think I liked it the next day more than the same day. Maybe the food got to "marinade" more in the fridge overnight. I am not sure if I would go back just because it's not my *favorite* hibachi that I've been to, and for the price you're paying at a hibachi, I think I would choose my favorite instead. However, I might go back just to try some of their other dishes!

New to the Southside! We came for dinner on a Friday night as we knew this place just opened not too long ago and wanted to try it out. There was no wait and we did not make a reservation. The staff was very friendly. The first thing I noticed right when you walked in was all of the smoke from the hibachi grills. Hopefully they can get that figured out with some better ventilation as they are still new. We chose the regular seating (not on the hibachi grill) but could still see and very much hear all of the noise from the cooking and the "hibachi show." It definitely sounded like they were having a good time. So much that I found it hard to have a conversation because I felt like I was yelling. So be aware of that if you come during a peak time. We really enjoyed everything that we ordered. The Lemon Drop Martini was good and strong just like I like it. We both ordered Hibachi for dinner and that came with Miso Soup and salads before the food came out. The sushi rolls were also good. Nothing over the top but they were good. I got the hibachi shrimp and he got the NY steak hibachi dinner. Both were delicious. Overall we really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back!

Everyone just raves about Harmony Steak house, but I found it to be just alright. It was an extremely rainy day, so I got it to go and ordered the hibachi fried rice with chicken and a side of lo mein noodles. I'd asked for it to be spicy and there was no heat to this dish at all. The chicken was kind of dry and really wasn't seasoned at all. The noodles were pretty good, but overall everything was kind of bland. In my opinion, the portion sizes were small for the price. This was all over $25 with tip. Everyone seems really nice on staff and the restaurant itself looks amazing inside, but probably not a spot I will return to over and over.

Wife and I went out to Harmony Steam House tonight and everything was very good. To start we had a crispy wanton for appetizer. My wife had chicken teriyaki ramen with a yogurt and pineapple drink, and I had a beef udon noodle dish with a Sapporo draft beer. Everything was pretty perfect in our opinion! Food and service was very good!

Finally decided to visit the Harmony Steakhouse over by Freddie's at Emerson & County Line It's actually a Japanese Steakhouse, think Benihana .... It's very big once inside, several hibachi tables, several sit down dining tables and a bar with bar seats. I wanted the full show so hibachi table it was. It is a little ackward once you walk in, a large table greeting you and people standing around, I had to ask if people were waiting. A guy took our name so we waited, only about 15 minutes but it seemed disorganized. Once seated, we got excellent service from a server named May! The hibachi tables are smaller than normal and there is a strange large fan on the table where the chef stands, also saw fire extinguishers behind the table, I guess I felt safe .. also it was quite smoky in the room from all the tables They have a large menu! Offering many options other than traditional hibachi, like ramen, sushi, skewers, even a kids menu! My wife was not hungry so she just ordered the chicken fried rice, which was made in the kitchen not at the hibachi tables, I got the combo, steak chicken and shrimp , mine was fantastic, the wife said hers was just okay. My combination meal came with the traditional soup, salad, fried rice and vegetables. Overall it was very good but pricey, $80 with tip. I will be back!

Salmon Skin Roll

My husband and I came here for lunch today and really enjoyed it. The inside is clean, well decorated and nicely laid out. They have hibachi tables and regular tables as well. We decided to sit at a regular table. Our server was kind and attentive. We ordered the chicken gyoza for an appetizer and enjoyed it. We also ordered a salmon skin roll which was not my favorite but my husband enjoyed it. I had the seafood udon teriyaki dish which was tasty- it had calamari, shrimp and scallops in it. The calamari wasn't my favorite but the rest was good. My husband got the chicken and shrimp hibachi and enjoyed it. We would definitely come back.

Singing happy birthday.

I had not heard of this steak house hibachi until recently. I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves every bit of 5 and maybe more. It was a Sunday evening and I was surprised they weren't busier. We didn't have a reservation so we hoped they could accommodate our small group. They seated us at one of the available hibachi grills. I noticed right away that the grill tables were smaller and more intimate than what I've usually seen and other hibachi restaurants. At first glance, the restaurant is very clean and has an open concept. I believe they've only been open for about eight months. Their bathrooms were very nice and clean as well. We didn't have to wait long to be served and our server Maria was beyond amazing. She couldn't have been more friendly. She looked like she really enjoyed her job. She served our drinks to us immediately and our salads and our food. The soup and salads were outstanding. The dressing on the salad was really nice. I've had that type of dressing before and sometimes it's watery. Just had a very nice thicker consistency. The miso soup very flavorful. It was just enough for a light starter to the meal. We ordered steak and chicken and shrimp hibachi. Chef Andy was super friendly, funny and animated as well. He made the whole experience highly enjoyable and entertaining. He cooked the food in record time and it was excellent. The amount of found was astounding. We took the larger portion of it home which is fine with me. The yum yum sauce was yum yum too. The pricing was on point with any other hibachi steakhouse I've been to. Quality and quantity factored together in a very big way. I look forward to going to this restaurant again. It will definitely be my go to hibachi place from now on. I really look forward to exploring more of what else is offered on the menu.

Sometimes 5 stars just is NOT enough…read more If you ever find yourself on the south side, you have to check this place out. I have heard friends rave about Yokohama for years, but it always seemed so far and out of the way. Now I am kicking myself for waiting so long to go and it has ruined me for a lot of other 'sushi' places closer to home. Not convinced yet? Read on. The owner only uses the freshest fish that she used to drive hours to get almost daily to ensure it is the best cut and quality - and this shines through in the taste of her offerings. The downstairs space is cozy and intimate - but they do have the coolest 'party space' upstairs that you can rent/reserve complete with in-ground tables for an authentic experience. They will also set up karaoke up there if you ask! Back to the food. Our group ordered about 10 items - all of which were so good that I was super mad that I had waited so long to try Yokohama. We were fortunate to go with a friend that has been frequenting this gem for about 20 years - so he ordered for us - and this is the way to go! We had the Volcano, BMW, Fat House (SO unique), Indiana, Speedway, and Debbie rolls, Sake smoked salmon and super white Nigiri, the Gyoza app, and another seared tuna app that I cannot remember the name of - all DELISH! Of note, your GPS might take you to what appears to be an alley - don't worry - you're close! Yokohama is in a converted house space and the vibe is so comfy. If you get the back corner table near the fireplace, check for a hidden drawer under the table where you will find years worth of love notes tucked inside. Request 'the lover's table' to sit here! Pro tip: if it is not busy, ask if Debbie is available to tell you a joke or to show you a magic trick. You won't be disappointed.

I throw three stars because I wouldn't come back again; personally I didn't enjoy the quality of the fish and rice. The appetizer Shumai was the tastiest. It was good to give this shop a try.

When you walk in, it feels a little claustrophobic, as there are limited seating options. The staff was very friendly, and they stayed busy the entire time. The portions seem rather small for what you're paying, and I can say that the fried rice was pretty good! The teriyaki chicken seemed rather dry, but they do have separate teriyaki sauce available. The meat is a little stringy, and the crab Rangoon--reportedly the second-most popular item on their menu--had very little filling, with underwhelming, overly-sweet flavoring and lacking any savory taste. Perhaps the most bizarre thing for me was the music playing. It was overly loud, distracting country music, which didn't fit at all with the vibe of the cuisine or the restaurant experience. Not bad if you need a protein-packed meal in a pinch, but I feel like you can get more bang for your buck at an authentic ethnic dining establishment.

At that price, I expected generous portions and a complete order. I ordered a large spicy chicken teriyaki bowl, paid extra for noodles and double protein, but the bowl arrived with very little sauce, surprisingly little protein, and barely any vegetables--about three pieces of broccoli, a couple slices of zucchini, and a few slivers of onion. The tossed in noodles I paid extra for was bone dry. My wife's beef teriyaki bowl was equally disappointing, with a very small portion of beef and almost no vegetables. What really frustrated us was the constant upcharges. Every sauce is extra uncharged! Ordered spicy, teriyaki and Yum Yum sauce but received the wrong ones. To be fair, once we added enough sauce that we had to pay extra for the food actually tasted great. The flavors are excellent. Unfortunately, the value simply isn't. Between the small portions, sparse vegetables, incorrect sauces, and extra charges for nearly everything, it felt like we paid premium prices for a very average experience. I'm shocked they didn't charge us for the plastic forks and napkins. We left feeling like we significantly overpaid, and that's disappointing because the food itself has a lot of potential.

This is the first time visiting Kumo and it did not disappoint. We called a few days ahead to place…read morereservations for 7 of us for the hibachi side. If you are not wanting to participate in the live hibachi you can order from a menu at a regular table. Upon arriving we were promptly seated and asked if there was a birthday which it was mine and they went above and behind to make my day special. We did have 2 people join our table after we ordered our drinks and they were the perfect addition to our table. So be prepared to sit with people you don't know like other hibachi places however just embrace the newness it's not too bad especially once the hibachi show begins. Our server was outgoing and friendly. He kept up on our drinks both regular and alcoholic including shots after dinner. I personally shared the flaming volcano drink(I think was the name) menu said it was for 2 people honestly with the ice in it we both agreed it would be just fine for one person. The drink was well balanced and didn't taste like alcohol and could sneak up on you for sure The other drinks that were ordered were all great and tasted exactly as expected. The pink shot is a little strong but so good and definitely worth a shot . We ordered 3 different sushi options all were good and exactly as you would expect however the million dollar roll stood out the most. Even a non sushi eater enjoyed it. Spicy. Lobster tempura, topped with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, avocado, spicy mayo and eel sauce. That as copied directly from their website and let me tell you that lobster was huge for being inside of a sushi roll. Give it a try you won't be disappointed it's worth the 20$ for that one roll. From the regular appetizer side we ordered crab ragoon which was creamy and fresh one of the best I've ever had. We also tried yellow tail an it had fresh jalapeno on it you tell the fish was very fresh Each hibachi meal is served with salad with a wonderful ginger flavored dressing. You also receive a soup and it was bland and not as good as others we've had. For hibachi the hibachi for 2 is the way to go if there's 2 people in your party that are wanting a variety. You don't share a plate or anything the chef just gives you your own full portion of everything on your own plate. The hibachi for 2 comes with shrimp and 2 additional shrimp that they give everyone, steak, chicken, lobster and scallops as well as rice and veggies. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection and was tender and juicy. 2 sets of 2 ordered this and we all took leftovers home which were amazing the next day as well. The only other hibachi that our group tried that I haven't already mentioned was the salmon and it was flaky and not too dry had a great seasoning on it. So for the hibachi show we were a little concerned at first as our chef didn't seem as upbeat and outgoing as others we had heard at other tables. However once he got started he was great. He also asked about birthdays and he immediately grabbed his squirt bottle and had me grab a napkin and was yelling Saki Saki and from behind the grill he squirted saki in my mouth and he didn't stop until my mouth was completely full now that was a shot and surprisingly it didn't taste too bad at all. Everyone at the table thought it was just water but they all quickly found out it wasn't as he went around the whole table and gave everyone a shot of it and then had a baby bottle with juice in for the minors to not feel left out. Then he took veggies and went around the table trying to get them in each persons mouth and he doesn't give up until you catch it. He also had the table sing happy birthday to me while he done a part of the show. Overall it was so much fun and we all laughed so hard. To finish the evening off they brought out chocolate ice cream and a candle and yet again had everyone sing to me. I highly recommend giving them a try for your next birthday celebration. Can't wait to return for another visit.

The chicken and the beef hibachi were good but I could fire this up at home and it would taste better than this honestly plain chicken breast and steak. The steak was low quality but I expected that for the awesome price . Very, VERY minimal veggies. The zucchini is very thinly sliced and I'd say it had 4 pieces chopped in quarters max on my plate. The togo container is the typical size of 1 big (rice area) and 2 small side areas (meat and veggies) if that tells you what to expect. The pricing is good though for what you get.
