Stopped in on a Friday night without reservations for hibachi. The place is huge!! We were seated right away. Started with a couple draft beers, placed our order and were served a mushroom soup and a house salad to begin the meal. The soup didn't look like much, but it was so flavorful! Salad was delicious as well, but had a creamier dressing than I'd have expected. I ordered the filet and scallops hibachi meal. The steak was slightly overcooked, but still taste. The rice could've used a bit more flavor. Scallops and veggies were perfect. We did leave with a very heavy old oil smell seeped into our clothes, jackets and skin. Price is slightly higher than what I'd expect for the area. Overall a good experience and I'd return.

My food was very bland and the teriyaki sauce tasted weird. I had good service. I was greeted when I entered and left. The restaurant was clean. I went to the location in Whitestown the day prior and my food was better.

I had the miso ramen but I asked for it to be spicy. The broth was rich and flavorful, exactly what I needed. It came with tender pork, half an egg, bamboo shoots, and wood ear mushrooms (kikurage) in a nice big bowl. The aesthetic of the restaurant is beautiful, from the seating to the gorgeous bar setup, everything feels thoughtfully designed. The ambience is warm, perfect for a casual meal or a night out. It's nice to have a restaurant like this in the south of Indy/Greenwood. The staff were friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food!

Delicious food and great service! We came from out of state, and we enjoyed the food. Fresh seafood ingredients and the place was very clean as well.

Signature Sashimi. Was good and fresh

Fairly new spot. Wasn't here last year when I stayed at the Hilton. Traditional Japanese steak house with a hibachi side and a sit down side We chose the sit down as we wanted sushi. Service was good, very quick and helpful. Had an angels envy on the rocks while I looked over the menu. Got a couple rolls and some sashimi with a side of seaweed salad Pink lady roll was amazing, very delicious. Sashimi was good, very fresh. Very nice inside, classic Japanese steakhouse interior Was very good and close to my hotel. Would definitely come in again

First time in today and definitely making plans to go back next week at lunch. My boyfriend says to me let's go try out that new place Harmony so we meet up. As soon as we walk in, the ambiance is very nice. The decor is on point and a lovely smiling woman greets us. She gave us the option of a table or the hibachi area, we opted for the table. Our waiter Ayden, another lovely smiling face brings us our water while we look over the lunch menu. We decided on the filet and scallops which both are absolutely delicious. My side salad was good as my boyfriend's soup was as well... no more then we began that here came our entrees so no complaints here. Scallops were cooked to perfection and a very silky amazing texture. Vegetables and fried rice on point! His filet was absolutely fantastic and cooked exactly how he asked. Definitely not sleeping on this place. We will return!

This is a different kind of hibachi steakhouse that I have ever been to. I went on Valentine's Day with my fiance and parents. I made a reservation, and we arrived a couple of minutes early. When we got there, they said that some people had accidentally made reservations at the wrong location but they were honoring those reservations at this location which caused all other reservations to get pushed back. As a reasonable person, I wasn't mad about this. But, it was a little frustrating because I was super hungry, and it smelled really good in there!! The wait was only about 15 minutes, so it wasn't anything outrageous. I will admit, the service was slow, but I wasn't upset because it was Valentine's on a Friday. I went in knowing it would be slow. Our server was busting his butt to get everyone their needs. It looked like he had at least 6 tables in our section, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than that. I ordered hibachi chicken with noodles. We also ordered a sushi roll to split as an appetizer. Of course, the hibachi comes with soup and a salad as well. I will start with the salad. I love this type of salad so much. The ginger dressing coats the crispy lettuce, and it's perfection in my eyes. The soup wasn't my favorite. I ended up not finishing it. The sushi was *chef's kiss*. I think I am easy to please when it comes to sushi though! The most interesting part was the actual hibachi food! I have always had hibachi taste the same no matter where I go. Some may be "better" than others, but it always has the same flavor profile. This hibachi-style food is completely different. It had a very peppery taste in comparison to the garlicky/soy taste you would usually expect. I don't mean this in a bad way at all, but I wasn't expecting it to be different. I quite liked the food! I think I liked it the next day more than the same day. Maybe the food got to "marinade" more in the fridge overnight. I am not sure if I would go back just because it's not my *favorite* hibachi that I've been to, and for the price you're paying at a hibachi, I think I would choose my favorite instead. However, I might go back just to try some of their other dishes!

New to the Southside! We came for dinner on a Friday night as we knew this place just opened not too long ago and wanted to try it out. There was no wait and we did not make a reservation. The staff was very friendly. The first thing I noticed right when you walked in was all of the smoke from the hibachi grills. Hopefully they can get that figured out with some better ventilation as they are still new. We chose the regular seating (not on the hibachi grill) but could still see and very much hear all of the noise from the cooking and the "hibachi show." It definitely sounded like they were having a good time. So much that I found it hard to have a conversation because I felt like I was yelling. So be aware of that if you come during a peak time. We really enjoyed everything that we ordered. The Lemon Drop Martini was good and strong just like I like it. We both ordered Hibachi for dinner and that came with Miso Soup and salads before the food came out. The sushi rolls were also good. Nothing over the top but they were good. I got the hibachi shrimp and he got the NY steak hibachi dinner. Both were delicious. Overall we really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back!

Everyone just raves about Harmony Steak house, but I found it to be just alright. It was an extremely rainy day, so I got it to go and ordered the hibachi fried rice with chicken and a side of lo mein noodles. I'd asked for it to be spicy and there was no heat to this dish at all. The chicken was kind of dry and really wasn't seasoned at all. The noodles were pretty good, but overall everything was kind of bland. In my opinion, the portion sizes were small for the price. This was all over $25 with tip. Everyone seems really nice on staff and the restaurant itself looks amazing inside, but probably not a spot I will return to over and over.

Wife and I went out to Harmony Steam House tonight and everything was very good. To start we had a crispy wanton for appetizer. My wife had chicken teriyaki ramen with a yogurt and pineapple drink, and I had a beef udon noodle dish with a Sapporo draft beer. Everything was pretty perfect in our opinion! Food and service was very good!

Finally decided to visit the Harmony Steakhouse over by Freddie's at Emerson & County Line It's actually a Japanese Steakhouse, think Benihana .... It's very big once inside, several hibachi tables, several sit down dining tables and a bar with bar seats. I wanted the full show so hibachi table it was. It is a little ackward once you walk in, a large table greeting you and people standing around, I had to ask if people were waiting. A guy took our name so we waited, only about 15 minutes but it seemed disorganized. Once seated, we got excellent service from a server named May! The hibachi tables are smaller than normal and there is a strange large fan on the table where the chef stands, also saw fire extinguishers behind the table, I guess I felt safe .. also it was quite smoky in the room from all the tables They have a large menu! Offering many options other than traditional hibachi, like ramen, sushi, skewers, even a kids menu! My wife was not hungry so she just ordered the chicken fried rice, which was made in the kitchen not at the hibachi tables, I got the combo, steak chicken and shrimp , mine was fantastic, the wife said hers was just okay. My combination meal came with the traditional soup, salad, fried rice and vegetables. Overall it was very good but pricey, $80 with tip. I will be back!

My husband and I came here for lunch today and really enjoyed it. The inside is clean, well decorated and nicely laid out. They have hibachi tables and regular tables as well. We decided to sit at a regular table. Our server was kind and attentive. We ordered the chicken gyoza for an appetizer and enjoyed it. We also ordered a salmon skin roll which was not my favorite but my husband enjoyed it. I had the seafood udon teriyaki dish which was tasty- it had calamari, shrimp and scallops in it. The calamari wasn't my favorite but the rest was good. My husband got the chicken and shrimp hibachi and enjoyed it. We would definitely come back.

I had not heard of this steak house hibachi until recently. I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves every bit of 5 and maybe more. It was a Sunday evening and I was surprised they weren't busier. We didn't have a reservation so we hoped they could accommodate our small group. They seated us at one of the available hibachi grills. I noticed right away that the grill tables were smaller and more intimate than what I've usually seen and other hibachi restaurants. At first glance, the restaurant is very clean and has an open concept. I believe they've only been open for about eight months. Their bathrooms were very nice and clean as well. We didn't have to wait long to be served and our server Maria was beyond amazing. She couldn't have been more friendly. She looked like she really enjoyed her job. She served our drinks to us immediately and our salads and our food. The soup and salads were outstanding. The dressing on the salad was really nice. I've had that type of dressing before and sometimes it's watery. Just had a very nice thicker consistency. The miso soup very flavorful. It was just enough for a light starter to the meal. We ordered steak and chicken and shrimp hibachi. Chef Andy was super friendly, funny and animated as well. He made the whole experience highly enjoyable and entertaining. He cooked the food in record time and it was excellent. The amount of found was astounding. We took the larger portion of it home which is fine with me. The yum yum sauce was yum yum too. The pricing was on point with any other hibachi steakhouse I've been to. Quality and quantity factored together in a very big way. I look forward to going to this restaurant again. It will definitely be my go to hibachi place from now on. I really look forward to exploring more of what else is offered on the menu.

And only a half block walk from the Omni Hotel we were staying in! Food (5/5): Well, this place would not have lasted since 1902 if the food wasn't delicious. And it did not disappoint. We have been eating so much lately that we ordered an appetizer and main and the kitchen split everything in half. Bread: Delicious fresh made rolls of onion and pumpernickel. The best thing was the cheese lavosh crackers, which were hiding in the bottom - we almost missed them! They said they purchase the lavosh, then put garlic butter and cheese on them and bake them. Just wonderful! Shrimp cocktail - Of course we had to try this! The large shrimps were hiding under a mound of freshly grated horseradish and tomato paste to make a spicy, eye watering cocktail sauce. Iconic indeed! The main came with "bean soup" which sounded not great, but it was surprisingly good. It had chunks of ham and carrots and tasted more like split pea soup. The main also came with a side - we opted for the loaded baked potato and it was perfectly cooked. Nothing like a great baked potato with sour cream, cheese, and bacon! Filet mignon - We got the 8oz (medium rare) and the kitchen split it in half for us. I also got it Oscar Style, which included lump crab, asparagus, and béarnaise sauce (lovely butter sauce!) Service (5/5): David was an amazing server. Tux laden and professional to the core. The other servers did not let an empty plate sit on the table for more than a few seconds after we finished. I wish that every server was as kind and professional as David. Ambiance (5/5): 1920's crooners singing filled the dark wood intimate spaces. It's a classic steakhouse!

Okay, Harry & Izzy's has officially made it onto my list of FAVORITE restaurants!…read more I first came here in April while in Indianapolis for a conference, and I loved it so much that I had to come back during another trip. Let me tell you, the SECOND visit was somehow even better than the first! First, the service was absolutely TOP TIER. My coworker has celiac disease and cannot have gluten, and she was blown away by how many options she had to choose from. She said it was the most choices she's had on a restaurant menu in a LONG time! A manager even came to our table personally to verify her entire order and explained that she would personally deliver her food to make sure there was no cross-contamination. THAT level of care and attention was amazing and made her feel completely comfortable dining here. Our server, Derek, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and gave us excellent recommendations. Now THE FOOD!! I had the 16 oz. ribeye Oscar style with mashed potatoes, and it was SOOOO GOOD. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked beautifully. The mashed potatoes were delicious, and we also had the fried Brussels sprouts, I literally could not stop eating them. My coworker ordered the fresh Atlantic cod and fries from the gluten-free menu and said it was DELICIOUS. My other coworker had the penne Alfredo with chicken and said it was the BEST Alfredo she has EVER had! But the SHOWSTOPPER of the night?! The Woodford Reserve Bread Pudding. OH. MY. GOODNESS. The bread pudding was warm, soft, fresh, and full of flavor, the ice cream paired perfectly with it, and bourbon is ALWAYS a plus in my book! It was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal. The ambiance deserves a mention too, low lighting, beautiful atmosphere, and just an overall great evening-dinner vibe. After two visits, I can confidently say Harry & Izzy's is no longer just a restaurant I like in Indianapolis, it has genuinely become one of my favorite places to eat, PERIOD. The food, service, atmosphere, and especially the care they showed regarding my coworker's dietary needs were exceptional. SO GOOD. If you're in downtown Indianapolis, you HAVE to try this place. I'll absolutely be back for visit #3!

Seemed to be over-proofed. The cornbread was absolutely phenomenal and a must-have! A special shoutout to our waitress, Arya, who noticed our disappointment with the focaccia and generously brought us the cornbread on the house. That kind of service is truly memorable! I also had the beets and peaches salad, which was refreshing but a tad overdressed. Still, I couldn't resist finishing the entire dish. For my main course, I ordered the lasagna, and I can confidently say it was one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't overloaded with cheese and instead complemented by mushrooms and pesto, and surprisingly light on the stomach. My husband chose the filet and rated it an 8/10, saying he thoroughly enjoyed it. We were so full by the end that we skipped dessert. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, and the staff was incredibly attentive throughout our meal. The only downside was the atmosphere; coming from Chicago, we expected a more bustling vibe on a Thursday night. It seems Indianapolis is a bit quieter during the week. Overall, we had a delightful dining experience, and hats off to Arya for her exceptional service!
