Sink is in the bedroom

Up at HRR for a few days with Corina. This trip we are staying in one of the big cabins. Full kitchen that we don't need as we are exploring the area restaurants. The fridge is nice though, but we brought our own ice chest. The cabin has a bedroom. It also sleeps 2 in bunks and 2 more on the futon. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots & pans and everything you need to cook your own meals. Full bath is nice. Wi-Fi is marginal at this cabin, but the signal was perfect at the RV spaces we used with our travel trailer in the past. We have been members for 6 or 7 years now and love this place

My Husband and I joined in 2017. We love staying at Harmony Ridge. We love the atmosphere. Our kids enjoy their time here and there's lots of activities for them to enjoy. I feel confident letting them enjoy the Campground by themselves since every member is screened. We have enjoyed the RV sites and just recently our kids wanted to Tent camp and we had a wonder big site. We hope to enjoy the cabins soon. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I have never had a negative experience here. There's many perks with the membership like staying at other resorts for free. Overall the surrounding are is beautiful and we love exploring lakes trails and beautiful views of nature.

We were driving on Hwy 20 and wanted to check it out for regular camping, but found out it was a member only campground resort. Normally, I'm not into memberships and have shied away from them for years. I never feel the value is really there. And the maintenance fees...don't get me started. However, we're avid campers and over the last few years have noticed that the price at nice places is $80 a night because they're charging per kid, per dog, and at least three different taxes. We liked the nice places though because you get a certain kind of folk (the respectful ones) and experience. In comes Harmony Ridge and their network with access to about 6 campground RESORTS in a comfortable driving distance. I could easily make up my investment in a few years. My husband and I have a retirement plan of being in an RV for at least half a year at a time, and quite frankly, that dream was getting obscured by the per night rate at places we'd feel our up to our style of camping. Now, we just paid for a huge expense of our retirement plan in our 40s, and can enjoy free camping for years to come. I feel like I just took a weight off my shoulders! We did something today for our enjoyment in the future. Lastly, if you like the mountains, Harmony Ridge is a great home base for a membership! Beautiful park, plenty of sites, and secluded. The resort feature is amazing. Never stayed at a place with so many amenities, so it's really a great value for the money. Those campgrounds where we were paying 80 a night were not resorts and didn't have great amenities (because there are no dues to maintain them after the public trashes them), but at some point, you cross from crude camper to glamper, and you're going to want the amenities. Harmony Ridge does not disappoint. We had a lovely experience from start to finish. Staff was nice and the fellow campers even better. I felt at home. I sort of was because I was surrounded by lots of fellow Reno folks. We shared drinks, we shared stories, and we shared laughs. I can surmise that the people who have given bad reviews here weren't the type you wanted to be your site neighbors anyway. People who actually use the membership don't complain. That's the bottom line. I'm looking forward to many years to come of staying in our trailer or renting out one of the cabins at a great rate.

Nice cabin were staying in

This is my husband and I 2nd time here with our friend this place is so pretty and the cabins are amazing and the staff is always nice. I would highly recommend this place for any family trips or a romantic get away or just a reason to get away for the weekend with friends and family members.

Love it here! Took the trip with a few friends and had a peaceful time out in nature, not to mention the staff is great and friendly. Can't wait to be back

So after I posted my experience with harmony ridge my husband received a phone call from Billy the owner. He admitted they had "issues with their billing software" and told my husband that if I removed this review they would delete the fraudulent balance they were trying to hold me accountable for! Wow really! So you can steal other people's money! No way guys I'll take the hit, and be transparent just as you should be, nice post tho trying to make me look like a loser that doesn't pay my bills! Gotta love businesses that steal from people, then beg them not to say anything and when they refuse they try and put it back on the consumer! And once again after my attorney had this fraudulent bill removed from my credit they sold it to another creditor just to make me waste more time and money getting it removed. It's ridiculous and becoming harassment! If you put a bad review on yelp they will try and go after you buyer beware-

The dish is fabulous bursting with flavor..... an absolute home run. My wife had a half order of biscuits and gravy with 1 egg and was raving about it. The cheddar and chives biscuit was the bomb , excellent sausage gravy on top...... can you say comfort food. My wife has a small appetite so the 1/2 order was more than enough and at 9$ quite a bargain!! You can feel the history of this hotel that dates back to 1856, the bar area is awesome with beautiful woodwork. The historic brick building just draws you in , like "I need to go in there"....... I had seen the dinner menu the night before and it was a little pricy so we decided to try breakfast first and now I can't wait to go back for dinner, if they are putting that much love into breakfast , I'm sure dinner at the National Exchange Hotel will not disappoint !! See you soon, Cheers!!

Debbie and Alexi were wonderful and gave excellent customer care. Our room was mostly good. There is no comfortable seating in the room however, although it may have just been our room. We had a room in the annex section out back. Leaving our room, we were immediately outside in the weather, which wasn't too big of a deal other than it was storming. Additionally, the shower had not had a decent cleaning in a LONG time. Mildew and mold was growing heartily from the floor to about 3 feet up the wall. A little scrub could easily take care of it. Also, the hooks for the towels are right over the toilet so be very careful that your towel doesn't slip off the hook as mine did, or you'll have a toilet water soaked towel. There is absolutely no coffee in the room so you have to go outside in the storm to get to the coffee which isn't open until after 7. Also we were at the coffee station at 7:50 and the one small pot was already almost gone and the 30 minutes we waited for someone to refill it, no one came. The next HUGE problem is the parking. There are no marked spaces for the hotel so good luck getting a spot until after all businesses are closed. We had to move our car 3 times due to the parking regulations of time.

We arrived before check in time and Andrea greeted us with a smile and offered to check us in early. I told her I have sleeping issues and could we be placed in a quiet area with a room. She said she knew the building with rooms 163-170. When we got to the room it was nice and warm, (a problem that we had at The Pines, a small space heater only because the wall unit wasn't working and no maintenance on the property.) We're old and there's good lighting for night time on the exterior. I left the party at 9 PM and stopped by the office for an extra blanket. The two women working were friendly and helpful. The bathroom had a new shower, glass doors and a rain shower head. I always bring my grey slippers for travel. The carpet was very clean and I was so pleased because I'm not used to that. I told my hubby, this is where we are staying in the future when we drive down to see the family.

I booked a stay in a suite (separate bedroom) via hotels.com. When I arrived around 9pm on Thanksgiving night, I was informed by hotel staff that a suite was not available, as someone had broken into our room. The police were still onsite, so we were likely just moments from either discovering the intruder in our room or having an attempting break-in while we were in the room. Hotel staff said the door separating this suite from the adjacent suite had been taken off the hinges, and that there were no remaining suites available as a result -- they would have to put us in a single room. Less than ideal, given the sleeping habits of my 4yr old and 2yr old, but I understood the staff had little choice in the matter. It was late and my first priority was getting my little ones to bed, so I accepted the room downgrade quickly and without clarification on a potential refund of the difference in cost. I found it strange that the hotel staff would mention to me that the intruder had claimed to be me, but then I realized that the staff had discovered him in the room and asked him, "are you S___ D___?" A little strange to realize that the last thing the guy heard before police arrived was my name. Still stranger that one of the staff offered me the room with the caveat that there was still "a hole in the wall". The other staff member reminded her that "we're not supposed to do that!". Still, I declined the offer. Our substitute room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and had stains on one of the comforters. It was very late, so my wife and I agreed to postpone any complaints until morning. We just needed to get the kids to sleep. The next morning, I chatted with Hotels.com about the booking discrepancy, and they informed me that the hotel was insisting that we were provided the room we had booked (the suite). I went to the front desk to report our issues, and the employees said they had no authority to adjust costs or issue refunds. I told them that my family would be departing due to the hotel's inability to provide us with the room we booked and due to the condition of the substitute room. The front desk staff told me that I should expect to hear from the manager by noon that day (Friday). I called at 12:10pm, and again around 4pm. I have called twice again since, bringing the total up to four calls. Each time, I am either told that I just missed the manager (Hamid) and I should call back or was told that I was being transferred to the manager, only to have the call go to voicemail. It sure seems like management is avoiding my calls, as I have confirmed multiple times that my contact info has been passed along. I will update the review if I am able to make contact.
