After signing my papers we were taken into a room, we went into the same room as it is an all clothed type massage. They started with pressure points on my head, down my neck and shoulders. They worked my arms, fingers...everything! He cracked my back and neck too which was amazing. I've had chiropractor work done before as well as sports massages and I will say that my experience was all of this in one. The prices are amazing ($30/60min intro rate). I will continue coming here on a regular basis. My gf said they have a punch card. Oh and did I mention, they accept HSA for payment. It's been 2 days and I feel great! My masseuse Anna placed my feet into a bucket of warm water as she began to massage my face, head, neck, shoulders and arms. I closed my eyes and felt incredibly relaxed. The reflexology- the arches, heels, toes, and the pressure points on feet felt so satisfying. Anna basically worked my entire body and even stretched me. I was jerking around. Gripping the massage table for dear life. Making facial expressions normally reserved for childbirth and exorcisms. At one point I'm pretty sure my soul briefly left my body, looked around, and went, "Yeah, I'm gonna sit this one out." And listen--I HAVE A HIGH PAIN TOLERANCE. I like a solid medium-pressure massage. I'm not asking to be lightly dusted with a feather while Enya plays in the background. But this was f*cking GUANTANAMO. I even very politely asked him to lighten up. He graciously said, "Okay." Did he lighten up? ABSOLUTELY THE F*CK NOT. If anything, I think he interpreted "lighter please" as "Sir, you have yet to access the deepest layers of my skeletal system. Please continue." By the time I left, I didn't feel relaxed. I felt like I'd survived something. I now need a massage to recover from my massage, except unfortunately this experience has made me afraid of massages, so I guess I'll just remain tense forever.
