I had already clearly stated I could do AFTERNOONS. Two weeks later I get a call and then a text asking if I'd like to be added to the "ASAP list". I thought I already was?! I was contacted AGAIN a few days later asking about my availability. How many times do I have to spell out I can come in the afternoons?! By this point, they're too much and I ask that they take me off the list. It's too much communication. May 27th comes along and I realize I've received no communication about my appointment on the 28th. I text them to find out they canceled my appointment. I NEVER told them to cancel my appointment. I simply didn't want to be constantly bothered about their "ASAP list". It's really unacceptable that they canceled an appointment I waited almost 3 months for. I was really hoping to have a good dentist 5 minutes from my house but no such luck. I was not interested in rescheduling as I completely lost trust in this office.

The next day, I was surprised at how naturl the crown felt, and how little pain I had. I didn't need more than a couple of advil the day of the procedure. Dr. Sholer is cautious and thorough; exactly what you want in a dentist. I was with my previous dentist for over 20 years; but I am extraordinarily grateful I received the quality care that I did from Dr. Sholer.

Visit: The visit went just as terribly as I assumed it would be. BUT!! Not how you'd think. My child started off super shy and once we got brought back, the tears would not stop. Renae was super nice and would explain everything she was attempting to do. She was very calm, gentle, and extremely sweet. Although Babygirl wouldn't allow any work to be done, she eventually warmed up enough to allow both Renae & Dr. E to peek in @ her teeth. I originally found Dr. Lai when I needed a surgical extraction and replacement and wasn't happy with my previous provider. From the moment Dr. Lai treated me, I knew I was in the best hands--he was incredibly gentle, thorough, and detail-oriented, and I've never had a single issue since. After that experience, our entire family switched to his practice for cleanings and other dental work. Dr. Lai is truly the best, and his office staff is just as amazing. Anne, in particular, is fantastic--super efficient, friendly, and always on top of things. They call to remind you of appointments, are very flexible with scheduling, and somehow always make it work for our family.
