I first ran across this company on HomeGuide and checked them out on Yelp as well before reaching out because they received a good rating. After messaging back and forth a few times he finally gave me an estimate for $7,000. I did my research and had other bids that were half as much that had a 5 star rating but companies have not been getting back with me because my project is still a couple of months out. The price for materials the gentleman quoted was ridiculous. When I tried to explain this to him he took a nasty tone with me and basically called me an idiot and went "Ha, Ha, Ha" have a nice day. So unprofessional. If I could give him a no star rating I would. Please do your homework before you hire any professional. I had a roof and exterior project with this company. Long story short, faulty roof install,…read morespecifically around the flashing of the chimney that the owner never fixed or paid for. Leaks observed in the following winter season after install that were never repaired or resolved. Even though it was under warranty in the contract. We also had issues with their exterior painting subcontractor who was very hostile towards our concerns of painting in the winter (cold temps and rain- we wanted to wait until spring. We insisted which drove him into a fit). The bigger issue was with the roof leak however and after contacting the Viktor the owner he offered to pay for the repairs (We had to hire another roofing company to come and fix, and also hire a mold mitigation company to remove mold). He never paid after over many months of notice. These problems are often resolved in legal mitigation with a contractors bonding company, however we discovered he had been recently sued by someone else for over $16k which drained their bond. Thankfully the other roofing company did a solid job of fixing the leak issues and mold mitigation company also did a perfect job removing mold so there is happy ending to the roof. However, do your homework on Washington labor and industries website https://secure.lni.wa.gov/ before hiring this company, or for any contractor for that matter. As of now their license is suspended, but yet they still advertise. Be careful out there!

I hired Viktor with Provision Remodeling to hang new cement board siding on my home and remove the…read moredrywall infested LP siding which was failing and original to our home. We went through him for exterior paint as well, which he insisted on using Sherwin Williams for, as they are considered the best quality. In the process of having our home looked over to see what projects we could afford to do, we had an unpleasant surprise in finding out the previous home owners...who replaced the roof themselves...laid the roof shingles incorrectly and therefore we had swelling and imminent failure. I received quotes from four exterior siding companies, as well as six roofing companies. I could have gone with two separate companies but Viktor won my business for two reasons. He was competitive with the siding and roofing companies I was seriously considering and he was very communicative. He answered so many questions. We have never had major home repairs done. We both had family and friends pepper us with horror stories of companies giving them a reasonable price and then tacking on thousands in charges at the end. I probably drove him a little nutty with all my concerns before we agreed to sign the contract. Then, after we signed, we added on work we hadn't realized needed to be done as well. For one, I thought the rubber trim wood around garage doors was part of the siding. It is not. Ours was in need of replacement. Our exterior outlets were outdated and out of code, as they were original to the house...twenty-five years ago. We asked for our bathroom exhaust fans to be replaced, which were accessed via the attic and that led to finding out our master bath vent was never even hooked up...just a fan box buried in insulation. That answered why we kept having motors burn out every two to three years. There was trim replacement which was unplanned for as well. There were a couple of delays, but Viktor was always responsive and reassuring when those happened and the work was not only done but done so well I've had multiple people, in the neighborhood, comment on the quality of the final job. His employees are friendly and patient with my curious George mind...asking about every little thing, as I just never stop asking how things work. He even went above and beyond. I ordered a new sliding patio door from a door company he works with all the time and when they were not communicative, Viktor followed up with them to find out what was going on. The additional charges for the work added after contract signing was very reasonable. I am fully confident in my recommendation of Viktor and his team. They are perfectionists, professional, patient, communicative, and friendly. I am very happy I chose to give Provision Remodeling my business and would do so again.

He failed to clean up the entire mess, only agreeing to remove one truck load, when it's obvious there have been multiple trips made out to our property by his company. He stated to us multiple times that this is not his problem and blaming it on subcontractors. Hard to believe sub contractors would have your personal business records. I DO NOT recommend using for large scale projects. Steve Wilson came recommended by a local…read morerelator and turned out to be an incredible disappointment. He is a handyman trying to get into the business of larger remodels. I want people to know so they don't go through a similar experience. I'm a designer who previously worked for a high-end Design/Build firm and made sure to ask the realtor if this guy would be the right fit for the level of quality and expectations that I am used to. She claimed he's worked on a few large projects for her clients lately that have been satisfied, so we proceeded. We met with him on Jan 8, 2021 and told him whatever project scope we committed to needed to be completed by the end of March because I'm pregnant and due in April. We showed Steve a laundry list of things on the first visit - a kitchen remodel, partial updates to 3 bathrooms and 2 fireplace updates. He gave us a project range from $60K to $100K and we confirmed we were willing to spend that much. The second visit, one week later, he brought his cabinet guy and we talked through the kitchen plan & there was a small section of wall that would make for a much better plan if we were able to remove it. He felt like he knew what could be done structurally & when I asked what sort of cost increase we were looking at for that, he said about $3,500. I immediately contacted my engineer, had him out the next week, invited Steve to attend and had stamped engineering drawings in 1 week. From there, everything fell apart. First he asked me if I wanted to get started right away or go through the permitting process. That was red flag #1. I've never worked with you before, my house is on a steep hill, we're about to spend a substantial amount of money and we're about to change the structural integrity - uh, yes, I want your work to be permitted and inspected to make sure you're doing it right. He was out of town when I received the stamped drawings, so I filed the structural permit with the city myself & kept him copied & in the loop. Cabinet pricing was supposed to be available in 1 week. After not hearing from Steve for 2 weeks, I followed-up only to discover that the cabinet guy had put my file aside claiming he was waiting for drawings from me that I had already sent 2 weeks prior. Steve had dropped the ball and not followed up with the cabinet guy. Red flag #2. I wrote a full Scope of Work so Steve would have something to help him price by and made sure to let him know we needed the pricing broken out so we could decide which projects to tackle. Weeks kept passing by, no response. Red flag #3. He hung up on my last call so I wasn't able to leave a voicemail and didn't respond to my text. Red flag #4 and #5. I had my husband call because I knew Steve didn't have his cell number and he answered immediately, giving excuses, but promising pricing the next day. Several more days passed, still no pricing. My husband followed up again... more excuses. He finally responded today, Feb 24, 2021, after 6 weeks of wasting our time, saying that he cannot meet our deadlines & costs. Mind you, he never provided us with costs on the full scope or various projects - just a verbal $60K to $100K range. It slowly and painfully became clear that he doesn't want to take the time to price large scale jobs because that's not his bread and butter. Everyone does business their own way, but he was fully aware of our situation and tight deadlines and could have easily told us he wasn't the right fit so we could move on to someone that was. Since then, I've researched and discovered he doesn't even have an active license. However, the city of Lake Oswego makes the homeowner sign a document stating that all contractors must be licensed that are filing for permits, which I included in the Scope of Work, so this was probably another reason he was being squirmy. If you have a small job and he can be in and out quickly without doing too much effort in the way of written documentation and contracts, maybe you could give it a try. Otherwise, move along, there are much better resources out there.
