When I do manage to reach someone, the staff is rude and unhelpful. The nurses do not return calls. They has prescribed a medication that I am allergic to on multiple occasions, and it is nearly impossible to reach his nurse. They are also very poor at completing insurance forms correctly, and when mistakes are made, there is no support to resolve the issue. If you have any other option, I strongly recommend choosing a different facility.

I am posting on behalf of someone who is afraid of retaliation from the office. I came in with a recommendation from a GI to get an ultrasound after I got a colonoscopy. When I went in to tell him this, he dismissed my concerns, saying that "this is just a woman's problem" which, by the way, I remind you that this was a gynecologist. When I asked for an ultrasound, he claimed that since he didn't see any reason to do it and so he wouldn't bill my insurance. This is despite the fact that I came in on a recommendation from another doctor. I insisted it be done, even without my insurance paying for it, because I have been having so much pain. After doing it, he DID actually find that there was an issue, and had no clue what to do. So not only is this doctor a jerk, he is also incompetent. He literally said "I don't know who I could recommend you to for this. I could recommend you to a gynecologist but that's me." So basically, he doesn't know how to do his job. Afterwards, I asked, so then can you bill my insurance now because clearly there was a reason to do it and there's something wrong with my body. He told me "No, I already sent the bill, I will not bill your insurance." Despite being wrong, he still wasn't willing to account for his mistakes and demanded I pay him out of pocket. So now I'm paying for this incompetent doctor out of pocket when really I shouldn't be. By the way, when I called initially, I asked to see a female gynecologist. The office couldn't even do that for me (do they even have a female gynecologist? and if they don't why didn't they tell me?), and now I'm frustrated that I saw Dr.Barnes who DISMISSED my concerns, was completely INCOMPETENT, and is OVERCHARGING me because he was too lazy to bill my insurance. DO NOT GO HERE.

She asked a few questions while I was filling out my husband's paperwork to make sure he was getting the infusion he needed based on his wellness concerns. After finishing the paperwork, which was simple & direct, she escorted us to the actual space he would be receiving his treatment. Once he was hooked up, she placed a massager around her shoulders to help him relax. She dimmed the lights and told us she would check back in a few. Upon leaving, she thanked us for our business. The following day, she texted to check on my husband to make sure he wasn't experiencing any issues or complications from his infusion. Now that I know this establishment exists in Macon, I don't have to drive 1 1/2 hours anymore to receive infusions. Her prices are better and her service and ambiance are outstanding. We will continue to support this small business; and highly recommend anyone looking to enhance their wellness give her a try.

Though hopeful, I had been skeptical about the potential of infusions to do for me what so many doctors had not; I have struggled with an autoimmune disorder and related chronic pain, depression, and extreme lethargy for over a year, and have tried countless medications & treatments to no avail. Within an hour of leaving, I felt myself waking up, my mind clearing, my strength returning, and my body working in ways that I was beginning to fear I'd never experience again. Tonya has thought of everything, she is attentive and thorough; it felt like spending an hour at the spa with a friend. Even if you are in perfect health, I am sure this experience will be an incredible boost, and if you are struggling with anything, Tonya will talk you through exactly what each treatment could do and cater the experience to your particular needs. I cannot recommend Astre enough. This is a game changer.
