I love these guys! We have used them twice…read more We recently moved from the Annapolis area and moved some of belongings ourselves. We needed help unloading the truck so I contacted Hardy to provide the labor. No problem; the men showed up on time and within an hour the truck was unloaded and everything was in place with zero damage. We also used Hardy for the bulk of the move from Annapolis to OBX. Charles drove up, did a walk through and provided a very reasonable estimate. The men drove up from OBX and arrived on time and went right to work loading the truck. No surprises loading or unloading. When it came time to pay the bill, Charles called me a said the load was about 900lb lighter than the estimate and adjusted the bill down accordingly. If he hadn't said anything, I never would have known. I can't say enough about the men who did the work. To a person they were careful, efficient, friendly and worked as a team. Well done men, you're the best. I wouldn't hesitate using you again.

On the morning of the move, no one showed up. I called and they were able to pull a crew together, but it was several hours later. Needless to say it really turned into a horrible day. They also didn't have any paperwork. It says on their web site that everything is inventoried. Not so. They packed everything in the truck and left. I had nothing. My belongs were in storage about 3 weeks. When they were delivered one couch had been wrapped for protection, the matching one was not and had black marks and hand prints on it. They also lost at least two boxes and my vacuum cleaner! They did take my word on this because there was no inventory.

A few of these were after relationship breakups, so he literally helped me move forward in life! My most recent move was from Virginia to Texas in October 2022. Ivan and Anthony coordinated my move-out from house to storage, storage unit to moving truck, and then delivery to new home. During this move, Ivan also transported my car on a flatbed trailer attached to the moving truck. Before providing estimates and scheduling moves, he would request to take a look at the old space and all items to be moved. He was also helpful in suggesting which size unit to rent when I had to put all my furniture in storage. Neither elevators, stairs, traffic nor weather would deter Quick Move. Ivan made sure that everything was transported and delivered with care and intact. Ivan not only handled moves, he had a good eye for furniture placement. When my bedroom set would not fit, he knew which pieces would look beautiful in other areas of my apartment. Before moving/delivery day, I always printed a copy of my home floor plans and designed my furniture layout. Ivan also helped my mom move appliances/furniture to and from her clinic. He even picked up a store order for me instead of my paying for shipping/delivery and figuring out how to carry the heavy purchase upstairs. In past moves, he packed my kitchen and living room into boxes, which I appreciated. Ivan is professional, reliable, trustworthy and communicates well. He identifies ways to save money and resources. He ensures that he has enough help, whom have also been reliable. He uses his time efficiently. He requires a down payment of 50 percent, which I am comfortable paying because I know he will complete the job. I highly recommend Quick Move for all types of moves.

It's hard to find someone for just a one-item transport instead of a house move. They provided a reasonable price and were able to do the job the next day, giving the estimated 2-hour time window. The next day, they called and, as I had requested, gave us 30 minutes advance notice when they were on the way, which was during the time window. For the move, they handled the item carefully and did a great job. (They do larger moves and further distances.) It was great to find someone to handle a small job. I would use them again.
