I was able to get an appointment scheduled via email, they were very considerate of the fact I was coming in between my own client appointments and had me finished within 50 minutes (including new patient paperwork). Overall, highly recommend!

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Stanton Optical. I was charged $80 for an eye exam…read morethat, ultimately, they were unable to complete and that did not result in a prescription. I made my situation very clear BEFORE my appointment and explained it to three different employees. I explained that I have a longstanding vision issue where one of my eyes cannot be corrected with a traditional glasses prescription, and that I have always received a "dummy lens" for that eye. No prescription, just plain glass like the try on pairs. I have seen countless optometrists throughout my life and have never had an issue getting my prescription because of this. I completely understand that not every provider may be able to accommodate my particular situation. My issue is not that they were unable to help me. My issue is that I disclosed the situation multiple times BEFORE even signing in for an appointment, they proceeded with my appointment, and was then charged $80 for an exam they ultimately could not complete. It is also important to understand how this location operates. There is no optometrist physically at the location. The appointment is conducted virtually, with an eye technician performing the initial portion of the exam, and an optometrist apparently reviewing the information remotely and issuing the prescription. In my case, I never even saw or spoke with the optometrist. Again, I am not leaving this review simply because they couldn't help me. I am disappointed because I was completely transparent about my situation ahead of time, yet I was still charged $80 for an exam that was not completed. For me, that made the entire experience a complete waste of both my time and my money.

I was able to use the Board to look at my current glaucoma condition, what it meant etc. I highly recommend Dr Weeks. STAY AWAY!!!They charged my husband for an exam that should have been covered under our insurance…read more They also tried to charge him $3000 for some contact lenses that are also covered under insurance. Instead of doing their job and contacting the insurance companies to see how the exam and contacts should be billed, they stated they offer a payment plan to help with the costs. After speaking with the insurance company myself and verifying the coverage, I called them back and they stated they would reach out to them and get things corrected. It's been roughly a month and $300 in the whole and my husband is still waiting on a call back from them. The Office Manager and Billing are never around to take the call. I would not recommend them to anyone. I myself, had to follow up with them regarding some contacts they were suppose to order for me after a month of no updates.

They provided my mom with a new frame and lenses free of charge to rectify the matter and I am thoroughly pleased. ----------- My mom had her yearly eye exam at another location and the new glasses were too expensive; therefore, we brought her current frame and prescription to your location in order to get them filled. I received a text Friday July 3rd stating her glasses were in but we couldn't pick them up until today. We showed up and her glasses were not there, and the receptionist said we didn't leave them. We left them with the lady in the back and she walked them forward to the front where I paid the receptionist. They lost my mom's glasses and the receptionist could have cared less stating, "well I didn't lose them". Yes, you did. Eventually someone took us in the back in the back and stated that they would have to review the security camera as proof we did indeed leave them. Okay, fine I have no issue with that. Then she proceeds to tell me that the person that has the authority to review the cameras is traveling and out of the office for 3-weeks. This is a problem. My mom is 81-years old and really needs her glasses. Those were her main frames and the purpose of her leaving them there was to have sent them off and have the lenses input. To be fair they reimbursed the $195 I paid for the replacement lenses, but she needs her original frames in order to get them replaced at another location. I am seeking the frames we originally left there to be found and I do not think I am being unreasonable. Unfortunately, waiting three weeks is not an option and it should not be since your office lost them in the first place. I honestly feel the staff could care less and it is very disheartening.
