Dr. Godwin could not have been more professional, proficient, kind, and patient with me. We are moving forward with a Cataract Evaluation; then proceed with treatment or going with the new prescription as indicated. I feel fully assured and confident with Dr. Godwin; the office staff were top notch and the office is lovely.

Due to a recent fall, his glasses were damaged and unwearable. Dr. Denton was not in the day I went to the office for assistance, however, the office staff collected my contact information and Dr. Denton personally phoned the next day. She was compassionate and willing to assist to get his glasses repaired. On behalf of our father, we appreciated the care from all.

I ordered the glasses as a second choice planning to order the glasses I wanted. I went back to get a copy of my prescription and they still would not give me the PD measurement.Also every move they make is charged separately. It was over 1200 dollars.The optician will tell you about her education even though its not relevant. I just wanted my prescription with proper measurements. My eyes, I paid, I deserve a copy and feel I was pushed into purchasing my second choice. I wont ever go back there . Save yourself some money and time.

I saw another review that implied that he pushes cataract surgery but that certainly has not been the case with me. I keep asking for it and he says that I really don't need it yet. I'm seventy five. I also like a video board that he has in the room that allows you - while you're waiting - to research several things such as eye anatomy and diseases. I was able to use the Board to look at my current glaucoma condition, what it meant etc. I highly recommend Dr Weeks. He is certainly smart enough; he began his studies with a Chemical Engineering degree from Auburn.

STAY AWAY!!!They charged my husband for an exam that should have been covered under our insurance…read more They also tried to charge him $3000 for some contact lenses that are also covered under insurance. Instead of doing their job and contacting the insurance companies to see how the exam and contacts should be billed, they stated they offer a payment plan to help with the costs. After speaking with the insurance company myself and verifying the coverage, I called them back and they stated they would reach out to them and get things corrected. It's been roughly a month and $300 in the whole and my husband is still waiting on a call back from them. The Office Manager and Billing are never around to take the call. I would not recommend them to anyone. I myself, had to follow up with them regarding some contacts they were suppose to order for me after a month of no updates.

They provided my mom with a new frame and lenses free of charge to rectify the matter and I am thoroughly pleased. ----------- My mom had her yearly eye exam at another location and the new glasses were too expensive; therefore, we brought her current frame and prescription to your location in order to get them filled. I received a text Friday July 3rd stating her glasses were in but we couldn't pick them up until today. We showed up and her glasses were not there, and the receptionist said we didn't leave them. We left them with the lady in the back and she walked them forward to the front where I paid the receptionist. They lost my mom's glasses and the receptionist could have cared less stating, "well I didn't lose them". Yes, you did. Eventually someone took us in the back in the back and stated that they would have to review the security camera as proof we did indeed leave them. Okay, fine I have no issue with that. Then she proceeds to tell me that the person that has the authority to review the cameras is traveling and out of the office for 3-weeks. This is a problem. My mom is 81-years old and really needs her glasses. Those were her main frames and the purpose of her leaving them there was to have sent them off and have the lenses input. To be fair they reimbursed the $195 I paid for the replacement lenses, but she needs her original frames in order to get them replaced at another location. I am seeking the frames we originally left there to be found and I do not think I am being unreasonable. Unfortunately, waiting three weeks is not an option and it should not be since your office lost them in the first place. I honestly feel the staff could care less and it is very disheartening.

I also was advised to drop my son glasses off so that he could get new lenses and when I arrived I was told to have a seat. I then explained that I was on a short break from lunch and I didn't have time to wait and ask did I need to call and set an appointment to drop the glasses off and the receptionist continued to be rude and nasty.. I called to speak to a manager once I made it back to work and the receptionist was the manager who hung up in my face mid through my complaint.

I had surgery 4 years ago to correct cataracts and I had wonderful success. Today I went and had my eyes checked and I am proud to say I still have 20/20 vision, and at 75 years of age that's pretty darn good. Gregory and my family have developed a relationship that exceeds Dr. patient relationship and we feel the same way about his excellent staff. I even bought a new pair of glasses at the end of December 2018 and they were 475.00 dollars. Which they need to be adjusted. Haven't even been able to wear them. I have VSP and they are not a provider so I can not use them, I called and explained and I asked for a set of contacts to wear until I could find a provider. Now mind you my script is STILL current, has not expired. I offered to pay for 1 pair. I have spent over 1000 dollars with them in the last year. They told me NO, they just couldn't do that. I'll be contacting my benefit plan and see what I can do to recoup the 500 glasses in dec that I can not wear. Not good business practices.
