There are red flags all over this business if you are willing to look for them…read more I've had them do numerous jobs from oil changes and battery swaps, to diagnostic work (good luck), to system flushes, and the takeaway is always the same. This business does not care about your personal property, nor do they care about getting the job done right. They fall short in very simple/basic business practices - If you want updates on the service being provided, its on you to check in; they call you to pick your car up minutes before closing; they didn't know the battery of my car was located under the seat (for a foreign auto mechanic?); the list goes on and on. Scanning the reviews, you can begin to see this is an on-going issue. Recently over the last three months (and three separate diagnostic attempts), I was charged $2500 to fix a temperature sensor - after the third attempt, they instructed me to go to the dealer as they had neither the tools, nor the knowledge to do the work needed. The mechanic basically misdiagnosed the issue from the beginning. Now, they've washed their hands of the situation but not before gladly accepting the money. Mind you by the third attempt, there was zero urgency to get my car in and fixed. I was told I would have to wait a minimum of two weeks before anyone could re-diagnose the issue. (great business practice btw) At the end of the day, this was a stupidity tax on myself for not seeing the red flags and not reading the reviews before hand. Simple procedures should be fine here, but anything serious - I would avoid like the plague.

The car never leaked fluids until this shop fixed the car. Now I put $8 in power steering fluid every week and it promptly leaks out all over the garage. I did take it back in to the shop to have them fix it. They did not charge me for the repair, but they also did not fix the hose. It still leaks. Also before I took my car into this shop the air conditioner worked. Now it doesn't. I can only imagine how much this is going to cost. Thank you guys for effing up my used car. The repair was affordable, but it seems you did $3000 worth of damage to my car. If you are in the market for a mechanic that does more damage to your car than they repair then Autobahn Imports in St Joseph, MI is the shop for you. Oh, there is more. ( instead of it already been changed before they called me saying it was done) . so i waited a half hour and when they brought it back out the vehicle was now full of tiny scratches that were not here before. then i noticed the body lines didn't match up on the tail gate to quarter panel which the owner mentioned it was a american car . after going thru the pictures taken when it was first dropped of it showed those scratches where not there when i brought it in. the owner told me to bring it back the coming Monday as it was Friday afternoon then, and he would get it fixed. so all weekend i stewed thinking about it and come Monday i took it back . then i kept getting these survey emails so i eventually responded and pretty much described the crap job honestly that they tried to sell me. 2 days later i get a call the vehicle is done and they read the survey which they were not happy about. when i went to pick it up it looked good but i only was looking a the back.after i got it home in the garage i noticed a new dent coming from the inside pointing out on the middle of the driver side quarter panel. already fed up i figured im gonna sell it as i do not trust it anymore.. well tonight after its been sitting in my garage since i pulled it in then, i noticed the finish ground off on the top of the door panel where it meets the roof. I will never take a vehicle or recommend them to anyone now. either they hired a moron or someones bent on discouraging people from trusting them to do the job right. unfrikenbelievable is the word. seems every time i return it to have the job done right it comes back with other damage. what was one a accident free impeccable body now looks like crap. Be cautious if Pro Muffler & Brake asks you to purchase the parts for a repair…read more I paid them to replace a special-order bushing on my 4x4 pickup. They asked me to obtain the parts myself, as they had done during an earlier repair. After the work was completed, the new seal leaked. When I returned, they said they would charge me additional labor to correct the problem because I had supplied the parts. Their signed warranty states, "We will honor work that we have performed, and there are no exceptions." I understand that a shop may not warranty a customer-supplied part, but that limitation should have been clearly explained before the work was authorized--not after a problem appeared. I now have to pay another shop to determine whether the seal was improperly seated, the housing was damaged, the supplied part was defective, or something else caused the leak. My advice: insist that this shop obtain the required parts itself, and get the parts-and-labor warranty terms in writing before approving any repair.
