We had breakfast Monday morning on August 18 and the biscuits were falling apart like they were not fresh. Cinnamon roll was hard. The manager came by to ask how everything was , we told her snd her reply was that she couldn't work on the line all the time because she had other things to do. Terrible experience every time. Staff has an attitude or the place is closed. It's the only Hardee's near me for miles and I like their breakfast when I can actually get it. If there was a jacks or Hardee's even 10 miles further it would be worth driving to because this place sucks. Im pregnant, and this is the closest hardees to me. Took 45 minutes to get there. My husband ordered my meal and before he could order his meal the girl working drive through cut him off and said the total. When we got to the window she had her headset off. He tried to tell her he needed to order another meal. She smarted off to him and said no you dont. We drove off and tried to call to speak to a manager and when a man picked up we could hear them all joking about it in the background. Again, im pregnant and all I wanted was a hardees hamburger. Food is given in large portions unlike some other fast food chains, super glad about that. Whole place is clean and professional. There is free wifi and it has six ipads in the middle of the restaurant in case you need to check emails or entertain children, I assume. Bathrooms are spotless which impresses me. There are no differences between here and McDonald's. I ordered the classic hardees double cheese burger combo not knowing that I had to say the entire "classic hardees double cheese burger combo" name so I got a double cheese combo which was not what I wanted. I returned it and had them make me what I wanted. Both burgers took forever and the cheese was still cold. The fries were also cold when I got them with the original sandwich. Don't stop here. Monday, July 27th retuning to Pensacola, we stopped at Hardee's Loxley in later afternoon. We were greeted, had fun conversation while ordering. Staff was well dressed, cheerful, and accurate. Food was hot and carefully wrapped. On Tuesday, my client called to tell me he lost an ID document. When I called Hardee's this morning and Crystal answered. I could hear how busy they were. The attitude of the manager of this restaurant is terrible. I tried to call in to place a large order for pickup this morning. I could hear the manager telling the girl that answered the phone "we are not doing a large call in order this morning, they should have placed the order yesterday. She told the girl that she would answer the phone in a minute. I finally gave up and hung up the phone. When I pulled up at the restaurant next to them to pick up the order that Hardee's didn't want to take there were two cars in the Hardee's drive thru. I guess they were too busy for a large order. I ordered a call in at Hardee's two weeks ago that they said would be ready in 45 minutes that took an hour and a half. I frequent the Hardee's in Saraland, Whistler and the one in Loxley. The service at Saraland and Whistler is always outstanding. The service at the Loxley store used to be good however, over the last few years has gotten worse and worse. Horrible customer service!! I ordered a Hardee's breakfast platter. It had burnt, suspect bacon and a skin flap of egg. Upon trying to ask for a replacement of the debauchery of my breakfast meal I was met with rudeness as she said it was "supposed to look like that". They weren't going to replace it but then she angrily grabbed it out of my hand, tossed it in the trash and gave me the next one under the warming lamp. Luckily, the one she grabbed had more than a skin flap of egg but the biscuit was burnt and the bacon was still suspect. Without wanting to cause a ruckus I thanked her and went about my day. If only there was a one star rating.... Where to start? I went here with my family today and the cashier was wonderful, that was the only good thing that happened there. My cheeseburger has old cheese that looked like it was almost molded, the bread was stale and the burger was cold. My mother's burger had stale bread and also had wrinkles in it, she also had a cold burger. My fathers chicken burger was soggy and was very cold as well. I would give it less if I could. Traveling from FL east coast to Louisiana and looking for a quick delicious meal. What a huge disappointment. First ones in line and it took anywhere from 10-15 minutes before finally someone came to take our order. Three other customers showed up during this time. There were two workers taking and filling orders - one up front and another at drive thru. The manager was only other person there doing all the cooking; way understaffed. Waited for 30 minutes for food to be delivered or should I say half was. When asked how long before the rest would come the answer was "I'm not sure". Two of the three customers spoken about above were served prior to us. All in all we demanded a refund (there were at least two others who did the same) and went next door to Burger King and ordered and ate in less time than it took us to get served at Hardee's. Stay away. Avoid at all costs until better management is in place and more staff hired to accommodate a restaurant right off an interstate. read more
